Not only is this a stunning teardrop designed with timeless elegance and utility from the inside out, Ford’s design was meant to be the life of a party. 2012 was a beautiful year for the Teardrop Trailer. Just for fun and in a nostalgic mood, we wanted to revisit this innovative use for this multitalented trailer.
A chorus of cheers rings out the minute you pull up. Tailgating would never be the same now that the Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Woody is on the scene. Designed by interior designer Brad Ford and produced by Moore & Giles, it’s impressive on the outside, but what’s on the inside truly astounds: sleek leather furnishings and details from Moore & Giles, rich wood finishings handcrafted from reclaimed Bulleit Bourbon casks, elegant glassware, and a top-notch entertainment system, including a flat-screen TV, Blu-ray Disc™ player, and a state-of-the-art sound system, plus a one-year supply of Bulleit Bourbon and Bulleit Rye*. You park, open the hatch, and slide out the bar—cocktails anyone?
Ten percent of the proceeds from the purchase of the Bulleit Woody Party Trailer went to benefit amfAR™, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
Original purchase price (in 2012): $150,000 USD
Whether these are still around to purchase or rent for an event, we haven’t been able to verify. But surely, this is an original and a class act that has been a triumph of the Teardrop’s versatility.
