John A :   We've stayed in 2 of the romantic RV parks - Paso Robles in California and East Shore also in California. Paso Robles is right in the heart of the wine country, what could be nicer in the summer? East Shore is really nice - near a big lake. It's convenient to the big Fairplex exhibition complex. Both relaxing places, would recommend both.

Redwoods :   Correct dates for the Kinetic Sculpture Race are MAY 26-28, 2007 (Memorial Day weekend.) Whether or not the race will occur this year is being debated...for more info go to kineticsculpturerace.com
