| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | MrTVTeacher | SCOTTY LOVERS--1982 Sportsman in fair shape needs a diamond polisher's home. My daughter and I love this trailer. I would buy it if I had tools and knowledge to fix it up. Was recently towed 200 miles to Miami used car lot. Running gear works. I have pics. Owner has no clue. For more info email me and I'll reply with all I've gathered from salesman, owner. edisontvteacher@yahoo.com |

| Re: Scotty HiLander small travel trailer | mackey | how can i get a manael for it |
| Re: Scotty Sportsman small travel trailer | MrTVTeacher | I got my eye on an '82 Sportsman 15' at a used car lot. Smelly and split at the bottom front seam, got some wood rot around a/c, in fair shape. Took pics, thinking of fixing it up. More required than I can do but not for a Scotty lover. Is it worth the $2,000 they're asking? |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Ronnie Green | I first saw on of these fabulous trailers For Sale last year parked on the side of the road. By the time the owner got around to providing interior pics it had alrady been sold. He was askin 8K. Still for what the MSRP listed herein suggest it's still a good bargain. I hope to own one three years from now when I retire. Do they have toilets installed? I like the small compact size because since I will have to tow it with my vehicle the smaller the footprint the better as I'm terrible at parallel parking. |

| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Noelle | I would love to get a vintage scotty but worry about upkeep and resoration, are the new scotty's still as good as the old ones?
I also would love to travel and camp with scotty enthusiasts, are there any clubs to join that involve group travel, I am single and would love to hit the open road, but alone is no fun at all. |
| Re: Scotty HiLander small travel trailer | Billy B | I owned a 15 foot Hi-lander trailer and loved it, but I hope the company makes the 18 foot camper again, because it had more room to roam around in when you have children. Always wanted one. |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Georgann | We have a 2009 13' Scotty and we love it. I've been working on decorating the inside to look more vintage. |
| Re: Scotty HiLander small travel trailer | Emily | I think this is the greatest looking trailer out there. I first fell in love with some of the tear drops but realized that with 4 children, they would never work. Does anyone know if any of the scotty trailers can sleep 6? What about the vintage ones?

| Re: Scotty Sportsman small travel trailer | Janice | My 11 yr. old son is in luv with small trailers. He searched the classified onlines and found a 71 Scotty Serro, we just picked it up yesterday. Last night as he was searching Scotty's he said "I am just out of my mind" about my little trailer! "I must be dreaming" it's all a dream!
I had promised him, if he found one I would take him for a look, not thinking he would even find one.
To my suprize it is now in our yard! Thanks to a very generous man. :)
It needs some tlc, but my son has plenty for it. |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Misty | Correction to my previous post - it is a Royal Scot, 19', built in 1970. I still would like to get it down to Hermanville, MS (790 miles from Toledo). Coleman rep here can get it "road ready". |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Misty | This may be an unusual request. I am bringing my 93 years old Mother down from Toledo, OH to my home in Port Gibson, MS to live out her days. She doesn't want to leave her 15' Serro Scotty behind and I have no way of getting it here. When I foster dogs, we set up a "Transport Relay". Do you know anyone who could/would do this, towing this little trailer? Any thoughts are appreciated. BTW - Bill (died in '73)and Bea (my Mom)Flynn were Charter Members of Serro Scotty Club and knew Mr. Serro personally. Dad had painted, on the back of his Scotty "Polish Airstream", which used to get a lot of frowns from the Silver Bullet crowd, pats on the back from all others. Again, thank you. MistysBarn@aol.com |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | balott | We have just purchased a Scotty Travel trailer and would like to know if there are any Scotty Clubs in southeastern ohio e-mail me malo585@aol.com |
| Re: Scotty HiLander small travel trailer | Lew Anderson | We bought an 18' Scotty in 1972 with a portable toilet and paid $2500 for it. We have some wonderful memories from that little trailer and sold it six years for exactly what we paid for it. Sure wish we had it now! We live in our 40' motorhome, but it would be a great little excursion vehicle and to share it with our kids. They're built well, are easy to tow, and have all the comforts of home in a small space. Great little RV!!! |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | zach h | i have a 1985 scotty 18 ft i'm trying to find out the weight .It's in good shape with a few problems with the hot water heater. |
| Re: Scotty Tonga small travel trailer | Madison | I really like the look of the Tonga but my husband hates it. Guess we'll keep on looking. |
| Re: Scotty HiLander small travel trailer | Lee Conary | I have had 2 15 footers and 1 18 foot. Need a dealer in Fla |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Anne | I was miss scottyland 1968. Represented the Serro Scotty Company that year. We attended national rallies then in Champion, PA. I married a camping man and we've been married 35 years. We had a 13 1/2 and 16 1/2 Scotty when we were young. We still camp but in a motorhome these days. We recently saw the new Scotty line at an RV show and it was very nice. If you want something very easy to tow you can't beat a Scotty.

| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | THERESA / BILLY | We have a 1984 16 and half foot dual axle Serro Scotty in good condition. The reason we would like to sale or trade for a smaller 80's Scotty single axle , because we have a smaller truck. For any comments or pic's send them to theresabilly@dishmail.net |

| Re: Scotty HiLander small travel trailer | Bernard Scottylover | I have a 1971 HiLander. Looks pretty much like the new one. We've had ours for about 15 years and love it. We've mainly rebuilt it but I can still find more stuff. Good luck to all the new Scotty owners you've made a good choice if the new ones are as good as the old. The inside pictures look real good. |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Carole | I have a a Scotty 1985 travel Trailer used it about 5 times on short camping trips.Haven't used it for 5 years been in driveway. Looking for any clubs or info on that year 1984 or 1985 Scottys

| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Ray | I have one of the Serro Scotty 13ft.small travel trailer that I am restoring, and I would like to know the tire size of the small trailer. Thank you very much for your help. You may e-mail me back at j251975@insightbb.com. Thank you again, Ray |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Wade and Sandra | Had a small Scotty for many years when kids were growing up, they got too long for the sleeping space, we got them a tent and we enjoyed it for many more years. Sold it for $500 after they entered high school. Wish we had it back now that we are retired. These campers are really much better than tents!! |
| Serro Scotty small travel trailers | Brian J. | I have owned and restored 3 scottys. The 13, 15 and then the 18 now that children have grown I'm going to get another 15 although the 13 was great the wife insists on it having a head |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Chris and Megan | We just bought the 2008 SS Hilander and are about to go on our first trip on Friday. It's the 15' with toilet/shower, which we couldn't be without - we're not that rugged! :) We'll let you know how it goes - it's our very first time camping! |
| 2008 Serro Scotty Hilander small travel trailer | Tommy | My wife and I just seen the new 2008 Serro Scotty Hilander. What a great little camper! We were looking at a T@DA, but the Hilander won us over with it's interior space and actual dump tanks. Does anyone know how reliable the new models are? |
| 13' Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Marine Davis, Jr | This is a great picture of a great little trailer. I love the one that I own, little 13'.
I need to find a spare tire, can you point me in the right direction? Love to hear from you.

| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | medinabrit | Some of my fondest memories are with my old scotty camping with the wife & 4 kids .
Some how we all managed to fit in.

| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Linda | Love the Scotty Trailers. Very familiar with them as friends of our have one of the older models. Our questions for you is, are they available in Canada? If so, where? |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Kelly G | I really think this is great. I love the interior pictures and the price seems more in my league than most RVs. |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | John P | I had a 1967 Scotty that we used and loved for many years. Glad to read they're producing them again. The pictures look as if they've done a good job of reproducing them and I suppose they use better materials and they've improved them. I look forward to reading peoples experiences with the new models. |
