| 2002 National Seabreeze bus | John March | National 2002 Seabreeze Bus Except for the price, which should have been a clue, I cannot say anything good about this unit. It has been a problem from minute onr. National going out of business is a GOOD thing. The interior is nice except where it is leaking in three places........ Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 0/5. |

| 2005 National Seabreeze xl | donnat | I have had muliple problems with this unit. One big being the computer that keeps the tranny in sync and the electrical system. I love the interior, but the slideouts are getting sluggish. Bought it at Beaudrys in Mesa Az. Had it serviced for exterior, interior, and mechanical problems at least a dozen times, tranny not corrected yet. Anyone else having problems with this type of unit Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 1/5. |
| 2008 National RVs | THE LLOYD | When I viewed their new 2008 products at the West Coast RV Show in Pomona a couple weeks ago, I was both sad and disappointed. Their products did not seem as good as they were before 2005. And even sadder, little if any new development in their product line.
I wish them the very best, we had a lot of fun in the DolphinLX 36 we sold a while back. |
| 2006 National Sea Breeze 1321 | Alton and Gayle H | Where to begin...purchased brand new at a rally in Oregon in 2005. Drove back to Ohio. Had minor and annoying electrical and jack problems on the drive back. Had to have the bedroom slide-out repaired, along with electrical and jacks,1 mos after purchase. We weren't able to use it at all in 2006, we did run it in the driveway, jacks worked fine as did bedroom slide out. Problems this year 2007: bedroom slide-out won't slide-out (again) jacks would not work. National RV suggested replacing batteries, we did finally got the jacks(leveling type) to work, bedroom slide out still won't slide out We replaced the aqua city filter for the ice maker this year,(which is not a problem) but the ice maker still won't work as there appears to be a leak in hose that we can't get to. Went to Va. 1 week ago, in transit, the dinette table broke away from wall bracket, and leg broke off! Tried to use the sliding door between bedroom and bathroom sink, would not close. Found it to be off the track, can't get it back on the track as it appears to be broke. Used full hook-ups in Va. and the water "trickled" from kitchen faucet, commode backed up! Front air conditioner blew warm air, bedroom air was very cold. On drive home, screw fell out of sun visor, and noticed that the screws along windshield molding are bending as molding appears to be "shifting". All this and the unit had, only, 4,541 miles, before trip to Va. Of course, National Rv warranted it for 1 year from date of purchase. National RV is not budging on what they would be responsible for. We liked the interior decor, there really wasn't anything we disliked about the interior when we purchased the unit. National RV is very poor in the customer relations department. They will not budge on the warranty and could care less that we didn't even use the unit last year, (so the problems can't be contributed to "wear and tear"). Have asked to talk with the President/CEO, the person said that they don't have one, and that any "higher up" would refer the matter back to him. We purchased the unit from "Lazy Days" (Florida based dealer) at an RV rally in Oregon. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 2/5. |
| 2007 National Tradewinds | Frustrated | The 40E and 40F have everything we need except for one MAJOR flaw.

| RE: 1999 National Tropical | Bob | I was having a problem with my a/c, switching from zone 1 to zone 2, or even setting the temp. You never know where it would stop. Just had to play and play till you got it right. I got a couple of quotes of between $400 and $500 to get the thermostat to talk to the a/c units. Had a lot better use for that money. Just had to play with it. Then I read an artical in Family Motor Coaching named(Thermostat Repair Saves Money) I called the company (Dinosaur Electronics) and they said to send in the thermostat. "WALLA" all fixed and only $75 plus shipping. It was a great day.

| Re: 2007 National Tradewinds | Ken S | I like the bathroom arrangement that allows the bathroom to be shut off from either the bedroom or living area or both. It has 4 slides but they don't seem particularly spacious - the ones on the passenger side don't seem very deep. |
| 1999 National Tropical | Pat | It leaked after a huricane we were naive and did not check inside until we were cleaning & getting ready for maiden voyage. BAD IDEA, some wood rot and carpet soggie. We just ripped it out (under front seats) got a remnant close to our color, caulked every window in site and stayed the course. It is now dry and smelling clean. Will replace some wood rot under window before selling one day. Good things: there are so many it's big 36 ft., it looks sharp, rides good, we learned and worked out the kinks, and we love it. Wanted a TV console on the floor, (too expensive). No bad things really, we love it so far. We bought used about 2 years ago even picked up a 2003 Saturn from the same owner. Extended warrenty sucked. Bought from a private party. We did have a 99 point check up at Camping World. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5.

| 2004 National RV Dolphin LX 6342 | Robert Tuller | We bought this RV new and immediately had problems with the floor of one of the two slide-outs, the hydaraulic jacks, the awning and the rear view camera. These were fixed under warranty but only after several visits to the repair shop. Another problem we had was with various electrical faults. Many of these problems have been fixed but I still do not feel confident with the electrics and still have regular problems with fuses blowing etc. The rear view camera was replaced but it still goes dead occasionally and I think there must be a wiring problem there somewhere. We also had a problem with a water leak that flooded part of the bedroom. This was fixed but it was an unpleasant experience. Another problem we had was with the fuel system. I had difficulty filling the tank and this turned out to be an original fault with the vent line. We like the layout of this model and the gas engine and chassis have been without problem. The 10 gallon gas/electric water heater is a big plus for us, our previous RV had a 6 gallon gas only heater. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 4/5. |
| National RV | Ruth | Over all our experience with National RV service has been good. Cannot say the same for some others. We have had 4 motor homes. One problem: Have tried to have our door fixed five times, they have never fixed it so it will close and seal. Some warranty dealers are wonderful and some are awful. just depends, they should be checked on by the rv manafacturing people.
