| Re: Chalet folding travel trailers | Brown Eagle | I've owned a Chalet now for 3 years, it still looks like new because I keep it in my garage when not in use.
Chalet's customer service has been great, they have even helped me with out of warranty items.
I recomend Chalet to anyone looking for an RV trailer that tows and stores easy, allows your tow vehicle great milage.

| Re: Chalet folding travel trailers | Kath | I can't make my mind up if I should get an Aliner or a Chalet to tow with my Yukon. Think they would both tow OK. Like them both but think that the Chalet is maybe a bit heavier and a bit better quality. The choices available with these pop ups is really good. |
| Re: Chalet Alpine folding travel trailer | Steve H | We have the 2005 Alpine with the front bunk beds option and we use it a lot. It's held up really well even though we've pulled it into some really rough places. The only real problem we had was with the air conditioning but we got that fixed. Our customer service experience is very good. We've also had an aliner but I would recommend the chalet and the bunk bed option was right for us. |
| Re: Chalet folding travel trailer | Cody | We had a Chalet for 3 years. Now have an Eggcamper. I really miss the Chalet, it was much easier to tow and store. I notice the difference when towing especially when windy and I think I don't get as good mpg. One day I'll go back maybe. Like the XL idea, I haven't seen that model. |
| Re: Chalet folding travel trailers | Alden Pierce | The gross trailer weight would be helpful. I have a vehicle that has a max towing weight of 1750#. |
| 2008 Takena travel trailer by Chalet | Shaniece | We have a Takena 1860 that we tow with our Hyundai Santa Fe. The Santa Fe has a towing capacity of 3500 lbs and we find it tows the trailer really well. We don't even notice much difference in the fuel consumption. Like the trailer very much. We have one kid and 2 dogs and even though it's a bit tight we all love it. |
| 2007 Chalet folding trailer | Wayne | Our 2007 Chalet folding trailer is great. It's compact, easy to tow and economical to use. I would definitely recommend it for two people or a family with one or two kids. It's well thought out and very comfortable. The ease of setting it up and taking it down has to be seen to be believed. |
| Re: Scamp / Escape / TAB / Chalet trailers | George M Sutton | I think these small trailers are great. The only problem I see is they produce so few. I tried to get the Escape, but they weren't taking on any Rv Dealers at the time.
I try to specialise, and carry niche Rv products that are light-weight. I probably have the highest concentration of micro-light and ultra-light travel trailer in the nation. There is a strong trend towards fuel efficient towing with other products such as the TAB, TADA, Coyote Sports, Chalet, Takena, Hi-Lo, Airstream, TrailManor, and Bigfoot. That's my two cents, George |
