Re: Casita small travel trailerssparkyI have a 2000 13 ft Casita Patriot Deluxe camper I love it---doesn't hold much water so it doesn't weigh much very easy to tow. great web site too sparky in Va.
Re: Casita small trailerMary HebertWe have owned two but too much interior things to build on own like cabinet shelves, closet shelves, flip down tv hookup. Company called Oliver Trailers offers Casita styles with all the extras done for you!!!! Oliver is a lot better design. Casita is not planning to build 20 or 25ft. as thought either.
2009 Casita small travel trailerMimiZWe are first time RV'ers and decided on an Casita 09 17' Liberty DX. We wanted an Airstream but could not pull one with our new Toyota van. After much studying up, we looked at a couple of Casita's and were very impressed with the quality, practicality and comfort. They thought of everything in designing this cutie. Low and behold, we had perfect timing and got one while they were running a sale and before the bottom dropped out of the economy. We saved a lot of money as Casita only sells direct to the buyer, there is no middle man. Check them out if you are looking for a lightweight, solid and durable travel trailer. Resale is very very good. Gas mileage for us has averaged 16 mpg towing.
Casita Patriot small travel trailerrich in VaI just bought a 13 ft Casita Patriot-deluxe 2000 model---I am thrilled can't even tell it's behing my old van--2 eye stove top, microwave, gas furnace water heater and 2 way reefer-has a ac unit too--I am so very happy with it. rich in s.va
Re: Casita small travel trailerROGER IN SLC UTAHMY WIFE AND I JUST BOUGHT A (1994)16' CASITA LAST NIGHT AND CAN'T BELIEVE THE ROOM INSIDE . FROM THE OUTSIDE IT LOOKED TO SMALL - BUT ONCE INSIDE , IT WAS ALL GOOD, ALTHOUGH I'M 5'10" AND MY HAIR RUB'S ON THE CARPET WHEN WALKING IN IT, I'LL DEAL WITH THAT !
RE: 2005 Casita 17 LDJoeYou should have done your home work when looking for a trailer. Too many people are in too much of a hurry. Write to the Casita manufacturing company and ask them for a price to put a high lift on yours. Or if you live too far away for that, you might ask Camping World if they can put a high lift axle on yours or somehow jack yours up. I have the high lift on my Casita 17 SD and when I look at it I want it higher too. But we all can't afford those Austrailian travel trailers that can go almost anywhere with no problem. Good luck, we live and learn...that's why we are down here on this planet. Native Americans call this 'school house Earth'.
2005 Casita 17 LDJohn BW2005 Casita 17 LD Second owner, all good so far. Wish it had the High-Lift axel as black outlet is too low. Lack of insulation which limits extended season camping. Private sale Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5.
Casita small travel trailerjoeSell your brick home and buy a new 17 foot Casita travel trailer. Get all the bells and whistles. Enjoy life while you can. Get your life back and go yee haaa! If you see me in my Trooper pulling a 17 foot Casita give me a honk.
Casita small travel trailerleekayaksI lived(and I mean full-time) in a 16ft. casita on marathon key, and loved every minute of it. It pulled very easialy, set up east and was very comfortable. We are so sorry that we sold. I am now rebuilding a 13ft u-haul camper
Casita small travel trailerDiann_no_eI think it is incorrect to say that Casita is Americas favorite. There are many small, fiberglass trailers out and they all have special features. I, personally, have owned a 13 ft. Boler, a 15 ft. Trillium, and a 17 ft. Bigfoot and they were all excellent trailers, and lightweight. I prefer the 15 ft. as it isn't too small and isn't too big.
Casita small travel trailerBadger 6We traveled in our 16ft Casita over some 35,000 miles in the US, Canada, Mexico and never had a problem. Had it up to 10,500 ft and down in the low desert. Wonderful camper, well made, did not add much to fuel consumption.
Re: Casita small travel trailerDanny KI have the 2006 13' model and like it. I feel I have a model that is too small and maybe I should have bought something bigger but we've enjoyed it. Next time I think I'll buy something at least 20 feet. This is a useful site. Why are water heaters always a problem? 3 rvs and 3 problems.
Re: Casita small travel trailerJohn kndI bought the 17' model in January 2007 and was very happy with it. I went to the factory and they were very helpful. I had a water heater problem but they fixed it quickly. I have a feeling that they use cheap material but so far so good. The resale value seems to be good.
