LATEST COMMENTS ABOUT THIS MANUFACTURER
Re: Carriage Domani travel trailerMikeI own a Domani DF310 Triple Slide 5th wheel. The quality is excellent, however there is a problem. You will constantly have to answer questions about the Domani in the various RV parks. Many have never seen anything like it
Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheelSteve N AZAfter reading about a couple of "cooling" issues, I'm wondering how well insulated these 5th wheels are? Do they come with insulated windows? If they are that warm in the summer, can only assume they will be cold in the winters.
Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheellouise lawrencewhat size truck do you need to travel over mountains?
Re: Carriage Compass fifth wheelAudreyWe bought a used Carriage 5th wheel 37'with 3 slides. Traveled to Alaska and out West and back to Maine. It was the first 5th wheel we looked at and the one we decided to buy because of the way it was made and designed.
Re: Carriage Domani travel trailerTiffanyI've been looking at travel trailers about 25' long and I really like this the best. The interior is really classy.
Re: Carriage Domani travel trailerAdrianLove the look of this inside and out. The quality inside looks wonderful and the price seems fair. I've heard only good things about Carriage from other RVers.
2008 Carriage CameoSKWe are full-timers, purchased our Cameo in Jan. 08. We have had several problems. We had to put the trailer in the shop for 2 1/2 months while we paid our park rent and motel. We might could resolve the issues if someone would call us back. Our bedroom slide leaks, been repaired once. The washer/dryer hasn't worked since June, been repaired once. The propane regulator is out now, been ordered by rv repair place from Carriage since before Christmas and it's now 1/13. Clothes rack in closet is falling down. Been several wood repairs made. Not happy at all. The dealership, (approx 7 hours from us) says it will take at least another month in the shop to repair due to getting parts. In the meantime, we will have to rent a motel or pay for a mobile tech out of our own pocket.
1999 Carriage Cameo 30' fifth wheelTamiIt's very well made, and it doesn't seem like Carriage cut too many corners in workmanship. Great interior colors and arrangement.
2004 Carriage Carri-Lite Arizona roommyrtWE ARE LOOKING AT A USED O4 CARRI LITE.IT HAS AN ARIZONA ROOM,AND I WANTED TO FIND OUT IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.
2007 Carriage Cameo - 35', 3 slidesLON/BOBWe have a 35 ft triple slide 2007 Cameo & have had several problems. We are still trying to get fixes from our dealer in Canada, while we are wintering in Texas. We will be visiting the manufacurer in Indiana in the spring!! Cupboard doors have split, hole in roof on slideout HAS been fixed, problem with brakes on trailer, hole in belly skirt has exposed wires, also split wood frame on washroom door, problem with awning, rung on ladder had to be replaced, laminate floor in galley ws replaced; but is now lifting in several places!
Re: 2007 Carriage CameoJohn C.I just recently purchased a Cameo 31KS3. As an RV salesperson who sells the Carriage line, I can honestly say that these units are the best dollar value bar none. They don't have a disclaimer for full time living, and after visiting their plant on various occassions you realize the the meticulous care that goes into manufacturing this coach makes it a leader in the industry. Being in the industry,I could have bought any manufacturers product, but I chose to buy a Carriage because of price and superb quality.
Carriage Cameo air conditionerDonI think the person who posted the problem about the air conditioning should have provided more info. Did he ask for help from the dealer or manufacturer? It seems like several posts were made by the same person using different accounts as others who researched the Cameo and who full-time didn't report a problem. I find it suspicious that someone would put down a manufacturer with a good reputation and sold build quality over an air conditioner which is an appliance that could be fixed. An appliance problem can affect any unit no matter who made the unit and should be referred to the appliance manufacturer.
2007 Carriage Cameo 35SLQSTEVEI have a Cameo 5th Wheel 35SLQ and we are full time RVers, it is our home and we are very happy with it. We have so far never had a problem, I compared a cameo to a lot of 5th wheels and by far the workmanship on the cameo was far superior to anything we looked at.
2008 Carriage CameoF35SB3Bob & CarolWe purchase a 2008 Cameo, Model # F35SB3 in July 07. We love our new house on wheels. We will be full timers next year. We spent countless hours searching for the best 5th wheel that our money can buy and we found it. It has plenty of room space for the two of us and if we have our grandson for a week or two, there is room for him and his toys as well. I highly recommend Carriage Inc to anyone looking for a dream house on wheel.
2007 Carriage CameoRodgerI recently pruchased a 2007 Cameo 35SB3. I just returned from a trip to Florida and the only problem I had was the air conditioner had a hard time cooling the camper. I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem. The A/C unit seems to be a little small for the size of the Cameo.
2007 Carriage CameoJW & Sue DrummondWe just got a 2007 Cameo and WE realy love it. It had what we wanted in a fifth wheel. It is the SB3.
Re: Carriage Domani travel trailerJoshWe're tninking of going fulltime and I can't afford a big diesel motorcoach and don't want a 5th wheel. Carriage has a wonderful reputation and this travel trailer seems perfect. I'm going to check it out but feel sure this is the right rv at the right price. We love the interior pictures of the big model.
2005 Carriage CameoRossieRossWe have a 2005 Cameo and we love it. We're fulltimers and we intend to keep this rig as long as possible. The floorplan is really perfect and it tows better than I could ever have imagined. 10/10. Strongly recommended.
Re: 2007 Carriage CameoLarry ClarkThe F35SLQ is one of the nicest floor plans we have seen.
Re: 2007 Carriage CameoRon and Margi JohnsonOur 2005 Cameo has never had a problem. This is the best coach for fulltimers in our opinion.
Re: 2005 Carriage Compass TRAVEL TRAILER 32FBSLindaI am desperately search for: 2005 Carriage Compass TRAVEL TRAILER Model # 32FBS (34') I would VERY much like to purchas this unit. Also the 2004 is O.K. Please contact kangonow@yahoo.com
Re: 2007 Carriage CameoGrace TWe have a 2006 Cameo and love it. We think this is the nicest interior of any 5er we've seen.
Re: 2007 Carriage CameoConnie ToddWe've had our Cameo for just over a year and in that time the only problem we had was with the fantastic fan which was fixed by the dealer. We're fulltimers and we're very happy with the Cameo, it's the shortest length model but we find it has plenty of space. We bought the Cameo after recommendation from a fulltiming friend who has had his for 2 years with no problems. A great buy for a fulltimer.
Re: 2007 Carriage CameoLee NielsenWe decided to go fulltime in 2005 and wanted the best trailer we could find for the money we could afford. We visited Carriage in Indiana and were very impressed. We decided on the Cameo as having most of what we wanted. We've never regretted it, any problems we had were quickly dealt with by the dealer and we've really done nothing other than regular maintenance. The new SB3 looks great, I particularly like the side isle and the fully enclosed bathroom.
Re: 2007 Carriage CompassChristineI think that Carriage are the cream of the 5th wheels. With a fifth wheel a lot depends on how you look after it I think that is the key to how it lasts and looks. With Carriage you start off with something very good and the floorplans make me drool. I'm ready to change but my husband says not yet and he can be stubborn but I'm trying to get him to go with me to our local dealer.
