| 2001 Winnebago Adventurer | Terry | We are newbies to the RV World and have been looking for awhile and finally found one that we both like and would love to hear pros and cons. The Winnebago Adventurer is a 2001 amd has 60,000 miles and is gas. |
| Re: Winnebago Adventurer class A motorhome | Darthvagrant | A "Hybrid" vehicle that would have to weigh in excess of 20,000#? Wow! I can see an improvement from 9 MPG tpo 9.5 MPG at an additional cost of $4500. for the "Hybrid" system. 20,000# PLUS batteries, that is. I think someone is on drugs. |
| Re: Adventurer truck camper | Skip | The truck camper industry seems the only one who are still making heavier RVs. With the present government mentality, you may need a permit to buy a truck that will carry most campers. |
| 2003 Adventurer truck camper | Ron Hoffman | I had a 2003 adventurer, really good. We've changed to a fleetwood camper but there was a lot about the adventurer that I miss. It was well made. |
| 1999 Winnebago Adventurer 34V | Chris & Edith | We bought ours last summer and it's wonderful! Where can you get this much quality, 10-12 mpg and good power, this much space, and a mid door. Answer, No where else.

| 2006 Winnebago Adventurer | Cliff Pomande | We've enjoyed the adventurer. This is our third coach and probably the best but why is it that the mechanics who work on the RVs are not as good in general as they should be. |
| 2006 Winnebago Adventurer 38R | Howie N | In the first 12 months this coach has been back at the dealer for more than 3 months. Problem after problem. Take it back (90 minutes drive to the dealer) and they "fix" the list of problems and then fairly soon after I have another list, some of them the same problem. Before this we had a Fleetwood Southwind this had a few problems but nothing like the Adventurer. I can only say that the list is hopefully starting to get shorter and the dealer is trying their best. I think both Winnebago and the dealer should have had better quality control in the first place. Many of the problems could have been avoided. We love this coach and would buy another Winnebago but I think you really need to check and recheck before you buy and make really sure the dealer has a good reputation. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 3/5. |
| 1999 Winnebago Adventurer 34V | Paul L | My wife and I have been traveling with our 1999 Adventurer 34V since new. We wish we could buy another motorhome with this much interior closets space, cabinets, and total storage inside and outside. We meet many other 34V owners who have not upgraded to a new model for the same reasons. |
| 2000 Winnebago Adventurer | Alexander S | The exterior stripes are of poor quality. They faded and started to peel within 2 years. The handles on the storage doors are junk! I've replaced all the interior drawer plastic rail holders...every one, twice! The carpet! I replaced it with vinyl planking. I was foolish enough to buy an extended warranty. I might as well have burned the $4,000 +. I bought this RV at Ottomobiles in Cloverdale, BC. They have gone out of business (probably because of the poor reputation of the service dept.) Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 2/5. |
| 2002 Winnebago Adventurer | Lyn W | I've had 2 Adventurers and think Winnebago make a great coach. Love seeing all the latest models. Winnebago are still the best. |
| 2003 Winnebago Adventurer | Merlon | Water leaks, wallpaper that will not stick, washer/dryer broken/ HWH jack needed replacement, water heater had to be pulled while on vacation to be repaired. 6 months later the heating element in the heater burns out, water leak from the top of the windshield due to rusting support frame, corian counter tops cracked while in storage. Heating system noisy, makes a loud bang about five minutes after being turned on. Shower door sticks, bathroom door hardware fell off. Bathroom vanity fell of the wall while traveling. Headlights way out of ajustment. Needed $500 worth of front end work, after we noticed tires wearing from toe in. Dealer or factory had never checked this before delivery. Electric sofa makes grinding noise. Sofa fabric was pulling apart in the first year. Winnebago would not replace, put a cover on it for us. Both house batteries were cracked upon delivery. Took two years to get Winnebago to agree to replace the cracked counter tops. Dealer found the cabinets were not secured to the floor. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 0/5. |
| 2005 Adventurer | John Kaeser | We have found that the 2005 Adventurer on the Workhorse chassis is a very hard-riding vehicle, even light-loaded. We also have a lot of porposing. In addition, we have had the unit back to the dealership 5 times for warranty work; mostly little stuff, but things that should have never passed factory inspection; i.e, two unfinished doors, hydraulic failure resulting in no slideout action or jack motion, valance delamination. I find the instrument cluster to be extremely hard to read, especially the odometer. |
