Northstar says "The light weight design and custom wrap-around rear end on the Northstar Freedom make the camper versatile enough to fit almost every short-bed half-ton truck on the market today, including the newly redesigned Toyota Tundra."
Base
MSRP starts at $13,890
Northstar says "The extended style wrap-around rear end that allows it fit all short-bed half-ton trucks including the Toyota Tundra, F-150, Dodge Ram 1500 and Dodge Mega Cab, and the newer Chevy 1500 Silverado. In addition to the swivel cassette toilet and interior shower, the insulated windows and extended cabover are some of the standard features that set the Northstar Freedom ahead of the competition. Also standard on the Freedom is a 3.7 cubic foot refrigerator, 2-burner stove, single sink, 16,000 BTU furnace, interior battery storage, innerspring mattress, 4-corner jacks, rubber roof with a rear ladder, LED tail lights, push button latches on all cabinet doors and much more.

We think this is a realy nice versatile truck camper and the extended style wrap-around rear end that allows it fit all short-bed half-ton trucks is a nice feature. The base starting price of $13,890 makes it an attractive choice.

| Clem | I've been looking at truck campers over the past year for a long term living living arrangement. The price of this one seems reasonable and the photos of the living area look great! Only a few of those I've looked at have bathrooms that seem to offer reasonable durability and those campers are priced out my range. The photos here show what appears to be a synthetic skin over particle board substrate sealed with caulking. This would be better than some but not as good as a plastic/fibreglass enclosure. If anyone has actually seen one, what was your impression? |
| Ken J | Im very interested in this camper. Northstar have a good reputation and I read they have been manufacturing for over 40 years. Would like to hear comments from owners. |
