| Bryce | I love it! its about time they come out with good camper designs for mini trucks besides Toyota's i would put it on my GMC Sonoma i know it would handle it with no problems at all! |
| Dave | The ranger may be outdated but it's a tough truck and the 4.0 V-6 will run forever. The ONLY small trucks that I would ever consider are the Ranger and Toyota. The Colorado may have a V-8 available but I do believe it's only in a street package like an SS but I'm willing to be wrong. Now, if you could flatbed an H3T Alpha you'd be talking although I'm sure it would spend more time at the mechanic than the Ranger or the Toyota. Ford is replacing the Ranger soon anyway. |
| Greg | Tex, where do you get your information? The Colorado is offered with a V8 engine. No other small truck has a V8. And the Ranger is so outdated it would not be a worthy pickup to pick from. |
| S. Tex | I would love to have this. Only one problem. Who had the big Idea of putting it on a Colorado? That is about the worst platform for a small truck you can get. How about the more popular Tacoma or Ford Ranger. Or at least the option, come on northstar, the colorado is junk. |
| Mark | Great idea, but community association rules say I can't park a flat bed truck in my driveway. I suspect a lot of people would have that problem. |
| roy parker | i think its a great idea. i have a chevy 3500 flatbed dump with 8x9 ft. bed. i would love to put a camper on it. |
| Ken G | I really like this idea. I have a pickup but I lived in Australia for a while where flatbeds and flatbed campers are common. Makes a lot of sense putting a camper on a bigger area. Also many of these trucks like the Chevy Clorado have really good mpg figures. Like it. |
