| William Letterman | RE: Campground prices up, no change in amenities | About 2 weeks ago, we stopped in a KOA just east of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The amenities were sub-standard, not terribly substandard, but absolutely not 1st class, but the prices was in the resort category, $35. We stayed one night and will never, ever stay there again. They need to get real about their prices. We have noticed this price-gouging at other KOAs across the country.
I never mind paying even as much as $40-$50, but, I expect top drawer facilities when I do! |
