RugSucker	US Supreme court Bans restrictions on RV Parking	City of Euclid v. Fitzthum, et al., 48 Ohio App. 2d 297,357 N.E. 2d 402 (1976), cert. denied 429 U.S. 1094, 51 L. Ed. 2d 540 (1977). This is a decision that was made in 1977 by the US Supreme court saying that there can be no ordinances that ban or restrict the parking of RV's on Private property for any reason other that safety. I haven't read the actual decison myself but that is what i have been told and have seen on other sites. My undertanding is that you can park your RV in your front yard or driveway or anywhere you want as long as it does not pose a safety threat. It dosen't matter what it looks like to anyone else. you can do as you please. I just recently started having problems with Oklahoma city and will be persuing my rights under this decsion. My question is how can everyone not know of this? I have seen time and time again that there are problems with city governments and RV parking and no one seems to know that they have the right to put their Rv on their proerty if they wish. Is there something that I am missing?
