| Re: Jayco Melbourne class C motorhome | Chuck and Lollie | We purchased a Melbourne 29D in 2007 and we've been extremely pleased with its overall quality and appearance. We downgraded from a Class "A" and have not regretted it. Only problem (self inflicted) left the stupid inverter on for a week and killed the coach and engine batteries. Jump started it and no problems since. |
| Re: Jayco Melbourne class C motorhome | Pete V | We have the 2009 26A and we love it. Miss a dinette somewhat but don't really need it. A great product that has really improved our lives. It's our first RV so nothing to really compare but wouldn't want to be without it. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight G2-travel trailer | Anabel L | We have the 32BHDS and we love the floorplan and the better quality of the G2 after looking at as many floorplans of the Flight and G2 as we could find. The bunks, dinette and kitchen arrangements are perfect for our family. The only thing I would change is the main bedroom area could do with a bit more space. But all in all we love it and think it's worth the extra for the G2. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer | John364 | I wonder what the real differences are between the Jay Flight and the G2. Need a dealer that stocks both I guess. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer | Hans | I had a Jay Flight until last year and we sold it because we moved west. Can only say good things about Jayco and the Jay Flight. Real value for money. Thinking of the 24RKS, like the rear kitchen arrangement. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer | Harry | I am thinking of getting the 22fb. They look great. I am wondering about pulling. I plan to use a Totota Tacoma V6 they are rated to 5000 lb. the new ones 6500 lb Will this be enough truck? Specs say it is but I'm noy sure? Thanks for input

| Re:Jayco Baja Camping Trailer | Harold | The Jayco Baja looks just like the StarCraft 36RT I have a 2008 model got all the Amenities of a large travel trailer. The front deck is large and has the ability to carry most items you would need for camping. Easy to pull with my Suburban even without sway bars. A little heavy for cars and small vans. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Feather EXP travel trailer | April | we had the 165 jay feather and we loved it but we found it a tad small so we went to the 213 jayfeather and its the perfect size for a small family. we are beyond happy with this trailor we have a few minor issues. One being on a really hot day we were running our air conditioner and the ceiling has bubbled all over . I was looking for others with this issue. We havent taken it in as of yet. |
| Re: Jayco Melbourne class C motorhome | Rusty | We purchased a Jayco Melbourne 29D in February, 2009. We have almost 10,000 miles on it after seven months. We have had no major problems. The two lcd tv's bounce badly during travel and cannot be angled for proper viewing, so we replaced the mounts with quick disconnect models, and remove the TV's during travel. We have averaged 9 mpg-- ave speed about 65. This is our first RV of any kind, and we love it! |
| Re:Jayco Baja Camping Trailer | RobitJ | I own a 2006 Baja and we are very happy with the precision everything is constructed with. It is a bit smaller than the 2010 but the front deck is great for hauling 'stuff'. We camp where there are no services and have to haul everything and the front deck is terrific.
We do not use the inside shower as I set up one outside but everything else from the heat to the hot water, cassette toilet works like a charm.
King bed on the front gives up plenty of space.
We LOVE this trailer. |
| Re: Jayco Octane ZX toy hauler | Raybo | looking at the T29M model with the big dinette and the loft area. meets everything we need I think. |
| Re:Jayco Baja Camping Trailer | Ron M | I think the 2010 model is a big improvement. I like the dinette slideout and the longer deck at the front. |
| Re: Jayco Precept class C motorhome | Doug Paul | Like it very much but wish they had more floorplans. Don't like the bed arrangement. Like access from the bed from both sides. But the quality and style looks typically Jayco and that's good, I think they're a quality company and make quality RVs. I'm looking thro RoTi for a C. I had a Jayco trailer that I was sorry I sold the next two weren't half as good. |
| Re: Jayco Eagle travel trailer | Paul Graves | We have a 2006 Jayco Eagle 314BHDS that we bought new. Got a good deal on it and we've never regretted it. The kids love the bunk arrangement and the floorplan in general really suits us. Jayco are a good company and this is a good product. |
| Re: Jayco Melbourne class C motorhome | 6 birds | How does the melbourne 29D handle
Is it easy to turn into a city street driveway. Why aren't there many comments on this Class C |
| Re: Jayco Melbourne class C motorhome | jay bird | need to know how a 29D which is actually 38'8'' drives with a 6.8V10.any additional info on the 29D |
| Re: Jayco Embark class C diesel motorhome | Roddy M | I've been thinking about this coach ever since I first read about it. I think it needs more floorplans. I really would like to see an arrangement with bunks. A great coach but not for my family. |
| Re: Jayco Seneca class C motorhome | Teery | I have a 2007 Seneca. Mainly happy with it but don't like the fact that the back end hits the drive when I back out. To be fair the drive has a big slope and it also happened with a Fleetwood I had. But mainly it's great. Like the floorplan VERY much and the handling is good. If I'd read this review before I bought it I would have gone for the one and a half bathroom arrangement. That really is cool you should feature it in the cool rvs section. |
| Re: Jayco Seneca class C motorhome | Boysie | An incedible site. Thanks. |
| Re: Jayco Eagle fifth wheel | Tori | We have the 2006 Eagle fifth wheel. This is our first fifth wheel and I've got to say Jayco is the way to go. Really nice layout and we've had very few problems. I'm a Jayco fan. |
| 2008 Jayco Eagle 351RLSA fifth wheel | westcoastcop | We have the 2008 Jayco Eagle 351RLSA. This is our 5th new Jayco...and again we are pleased with the buying experience at the Dealer...and are yet again continue to be dazzled by the quality, workmanship and incredible attention to detail! And so many things not listed in the brochure are standard. Jayco's are built by a company that is still owned by the original family, 41 years ago. They aren't like some of the RV companies that make 30 different brands...Jayco just makes Jayco! They have a 2 year warranty that they actually have no restrictions on. Some manufacturers void your warranty if you full time or use it as a "residence"...not Jayco! And the double stacked structural steel frame instead of cheap flimsy aluminum frame. Real oak wood cabinets and drawers instead of particle wood used in other brands. Tinted Safety glass standard. About 20 items are standard on Jayco that are extra cost options on other brands. And Jayco uses name brand stuff on their RV's...not cheap crappy no-name appliances. Goodyear tires, Atwood heaters and water heaters, Sharp DVD TV's, Samsung microwaves, etc. And you'll find if you do happen to have problems (our last 4 Jaycos never had any issues!) the Jayco folks say that they treat their customers like family...and they DO! Jayco gets ***** 5 Stars for sure! |
| Re: Jayco Melbourne class C motorhome | Trisha | We have a 2007 Melbourne. Nice motorhome like the arrangement. A few problems but taken care of. Jayco is a good company and makes a really nice class C. |
| Re: Jayco Greyhawk class C motorhome | CB in Michigan | The 08 Geyhawk 31 SS is our first RV and we did our homework before buying. Jayco reputation is well earned with the features and value for $ they put into their products. 2 year warranty is the best as well. Dealer is even more important than manufacturer. Been extremely satisfied with the unit. You have to make sure the slide seals are properly set or you can get some rain leaks .... but not hard to do at all. 5 out of 5 rating |
| Re: Jayco Jay Feather travel trailer | PWG | We bought a Jayco 25F..fully loaded...have hauled it everywhere...2 weeks at a time...Only size with 52 Gallon Grey Water...Replace the sofa with reclining love seat. No problems in two years...We just love it!
|
| Re: Jayco Jay Series camping trailer | Cindy | We are looking at the Jay Series, the Coleman Cheyenne, and the Rockwood. Any suggestions? Pluses/Minuses? First time camper purchase. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Feather EXP travel trailer | Longing for Another Jayco | I had a Jayco Jay Feather 165 for 1 season and spent 60 nights in it. It was the perfect weekender. I miss my Jayco so much! In the process of trying to convince my wife to buy the Jayco 213. What a great layout and with baby #2 on the way it just makes sense. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight Bungalow destination trailer | MannaCandace | It's nice to see some options for full-time living in an RV .... makes me want to develop that 40 acre investment property now. We can get an RV up there - no way would a mobile home fit. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Feather Sport | Mike | We would like to hear from anyone who has experience with a Jayco Jay Feather Sport 165. We've looked at a lot of small trailers to find one to replace our 2001 Thor Wanderer II hybrid (which we loved). We think the 165 may be the right one (size, weight, layout, amenities) to use with our F-150 V-8. Thanks. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight travel trailer | Jen Burch | We have a 2006 Jay Flight. We looked at many trailers and finally found this with the right price and the right floorplan. The quality is excellent and all minor problems were taken care of. Jayco are great. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Feather Sport | martin | I have only had my Jayco Jay Feather 197 in Colorado for one season and pull it with a Toyota 4Runner V8. So far I have zero complaints on mostly three day trips into the mountains. The u shaped seating is plus and for two people it is plenty of room using the book for storage as needed. The double axles provide a little extra mental security for me. A friend first bought a 197 and drove it from CT to Idaho and back this past summer with zero complaints. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight Bungalow destination trailer | Barbiedoll | We love Jayco. We have had 3 jayco trailers; a 96n26 ft, a a designer 35 ft at a permanent summer campsite, and finally, an older 95 pop up we bought to run around in Wy and Mt. it even had a gas heater, and when we got caught in a surprize snow in Utah in Oct, we actually used the heater. We survived amidst the 40 ft Motorhomes. This looks good. Go jayco. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Series camping trailer | John A | This is real value for money. Jayco make great RVs and how can you go wrong for the price? |
| 2009 Jayco Melbourne 29D class C | Ken and Penny Romford | Jayco class Cs are the way to go. We traded our class A for a 2009 Jayco Melbourne 29D class C and so far I think it's one of the best things we've done! 3 slides and I really think it has everything we've ever had before and we've had 3 A's and one B. Our last A was diesel (Fleetwood), it was really good but I think the Ford Triton gas engine in the Melbourne is remarkable. We've been up and down really steep climbs with no problems whatsoever. Recommend Jayco. |
| 2008 Jayco Jay Flight | Jennie Dubner | We've had 3 Jayco's. We had a 99 Designer, a 2003 Kiwi and now we have a 2008 Jay Flight. All quality. I recommend Jayco and wouldn't buy anything else. |
| 1978 Jayco motorhome parts | Headbanger! | I recently bought a 1978 22.7' motorhome and I am really disappointed that you can only buy parts from dealers and there is only 1 in colordo!
What kind of service is this? Why do they not sell parts direct to save customers money...all dealers are crooks period! They charge 4X more for the cheapest parts...oh well, my choice to buy or not. |
| Re:Jayco Baja Camping Trailer | Ross Texas | This is another camper I've looked at. Real nice. I like the feeling of space inside. I liked the dinette arrangement better on the Fleetwood Evolution but this had some good features. Priced ok and jayco have a good reputation. |
| Re: Jayco Baja Camping Trailer | mo thomas | I love the bike carrier, what a great idea. This would be great for my family the only thing I dislike is the porta-potti arrangement but there's no space for anything else Have to use campground facilities |
| Re:Jayco Baja Camping Trailer | Isabelle R | This looks good. Our last pop up had rot problems so this time we're going to be very careful. I don't know if the undercoated floor deck constructed of Structurwood that jayco use is good. Anyone any experiences? |
| 2008 Jayco Eagle 315 fifth wheel | fernand lucier | l like every option on it and the finish is super. l have a problem the fuse 35a at the batteies burn all the time .it looks like when l take the fuse of the charger it is ok but where is the battery charger there is not enough explanation on the booklet. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 4/5. |
| 1997 Jayco motorhome 21' | Steve & Pam | Jayco - Quality Quality Quality. We have a 1997 Jayco MH. 21' Only thing we'd change -- needs a stationary bed. Wish it was a little bigger. Drives easily. Love the new Jayco's. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Flight Bungalow destination trailer | Norris G | I've had 2 Jaycos and very good experience. This looks really good. |
| 2005 Jayco Jay Feather Sport travel trailer | joe | I removed my stove and hood vent which i did not need and added more counter space and a shelve where the hood was. Instead of drilling a hole to run the wires to the hood fan and light, some nice worker at Jayco used a hammer to smash a hole thru the panel which he believed would never be seen if the hood vent or microwave were never removed. 05 165sport purchased at elkins w.v. |
| 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 22FB travel trailer | WILL & Michell | Bought 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 22FB in 2007. Great trailer for the price. No slides, but still has plenty of head room and walking area.
Bathroom is plenty big to read the paper, and take a shower. Lots of storage space
Oak cabinets, seperate QB room in front.
Easy to pull, and park in campsite. NO PROBLEMS, 2 year WARRANTY. JAYCO ARE A GREAT BUY. |
| 2008 Jayco 22FB Jay Flight | Steve & Colleen | I purchased this model back in January and I am picking it up this weekend. It is perfect for my wife and myself. I am hoping April brings us good weather to get it out. I love the layout, cabinets and storage space. |
| 2006 Keystone Zeppelin / 2008 Jayco Jay Feather 29D | edcaroleg | The slide on the Keystone Passport does not open very far and uses cables. We had that setup on a 2006 Zeppelin (The passport replaced the Zeppelin. The cable system was nothing but trouble.) We sold the Zep and bought a 2008 Jayco Jay Feather 29D with a similar but superior floorplan |
| 2008 Jayco 22FB Jay Flight | Rooney | Love this trailer. Just 22 ft long but a nice arrangement and it's perfect for us and the price was right. Hardwood cabinets and I'm impressed by the quality. Had a major problem with the furnace second time out (and it was very very cold!) but that was fixed and other than than nothing. If you're looking for a small travel trailer I recommend this model. |
| 2002 Jayco Kiwi Too 22U | Nancy and Scott | Love it. If it had slide out, it'd be perfect. A little tight with 2 people trying to walk around. Like: ledges under all cabinetry. Lots of storage. Pantry. Negative: Only thing is walking space. Purchased: Brandt rv - Dayton OH. Had a couple of small issues, easily taken care of. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. |
| 2008 Jayco Jay Feather Sport 165 travel trailer | Buppa | I bought a 165 in august 2007. I'm telling you can't find another trailer it's size on the market that offers as much. It is perfect for 3 adults without converting anything. I am going to up grade my truck, but right now I am pulling it with a 4 cyl.1997 nissan pickup it pulls it fine with a weight dis. hitch. It is a little under powered but it does fine in Florida.(flat). I love the 165 it's perfect for my wife and I. If you are going for a small TT this one is the best one for the money. Nice size,stove,oven,microwave,tub/shower, try to find all that in a trailer this size. |
| 2008 Jayco Jay Flight G2 31BHS | Andy Copeland | We are a family of 6 plus 2 dogs and bought the 31BHS because of the bunk arrangement. The amount of space available is amazing even with the kids and dogs and they all love it. No problems other than a faulty refrig. which the dealer replaced immediately. I would recommend this trailer to any family. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. |
| 2007 Jayco Melbourne 29D | Jerry Anderson | We have a Jayco class C - the 2007 Melbourne 29D. Great class C. A few problems to start with that should have been taken care of by the dealer but after that it's been fantastic. Like the layout with 3 slides and find it's easy to drive and plenty of power. Get about 13 mpg but with a toad it goes way down. 2 year warranty is good. We bought the Customer Value Package and I would recommend that. This is my second Jayco and third RV and this is the best. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. |
| 2008 Jayco Jayfeather 26L | Ron | I bought a 2008 Jayco Jayfeather 26L and love it. Jayco will not be makeing this model any more, too bad. |
| 2008 Jayco Jay Flight G2 31 BHDS | Matthew B | Great Floor Plan and layout. Grat value. Love the upgrade over the 2007. Great new table design. The cieling vent in the front bedroom adds extra daylight and ventilation. The Electric awning on the G2 models seems like a nice plus, but it does not belong on the lower ceiling travel trailers, but the 14 foot tall motorhomes. Only 6'2" clearnace when the awning is down completely and you cannot adjust the height for rain runoff or if your site is not level. So far Jayco has refused to acknowledge their design flaw in putting the electric awning on G2. You cannot get a G2 without the electric awning. Dealership is still working on a solution. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 4/5. |
| Re: Jayco Jay Feather Sport travel trailer | Ken Shawhill | I think this is the perfect trailer for my family, my wife and I and 2 small kids. Ideal for weekend getaways and the price seems good. I particularly like the smallest, the 165, and I am going to visit a dealer with one in stock today. Hope it's as good as the article. |
| 2007 Jayco Jayflight 31.5 BHDS | Joan | Floor buckling, soft, bumps Noisy toilet. Manufacturer has offered to take back to factory to re-do floor. Rear TV cabinet poor quality on first trip TV fell through cabinet. Dealer attempted fix, husband did it himself. Uneven floor, loud toilet. Kitchen cabinets nice, lots of storage. The manufacturer is picking it up next month to totally re-do the floor. Harper Camperland, Harper, KS Problems with dealer not returning calls. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 1/5. |
| 1997 Jayco Eagle | Kevin | We have a 1997 Jayco Eagle. Very few Problems. Love Jayco. Everything is built to the highest quality. Cabinets are sturdy and everything is very workable. Had to replace kitchen faucet. Nice Layout and color scheme. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. |
| 2006 Jayco Greyhawk 31' | Kenneth R | We have a 2006 Greyhawk. This has been ok but one major problem occurred which was fixed but then occurred again. The bedroom slide leaked and caused the bedroom carpet to be ruined. The slide was fixed and the carpet renewed. If that had not occurred I would have said it was a good buy. |
| 2005 Jayco Designer | Patsy | I have towed a travel trailer for over 18 yrs, the last one a jayco Designer 32ft and it has been totally delightful! It is my 2nd jayco and would love it if the quality of Jayco could be found in a class A diesel. I am so confused now about the class A I am seriously considering not buying one at all. |
| I've had 3 Jayco RVs | Ken P | I've had 3 Jayco's. I had a fold-down tent camper that we were so pleased with we bought a Flight and then an Eagle. The only problem we ever had was bubbling on a fibreglass wall that they took care of. A good company, they deserve their success. |
| Jayco Greyhawk | Paul Henderson | I've rented a Greyhawk on 3 occasions in southern California in the last 2 years. Love them. If I had time to use it more often I'd buy one for sure. Great motorhome and we've had a lot of fun. Really like the layout of the 31SS model, although we've had a 31FS with the bunks and liked it a lot. |
| Re: Jayco Baja camping trailer | Craig Morris | Jayco make great products. My last trailer was a Jayco Designer and we loved it. These camping trailers are cute and we're thinking we could get away with one of these without the cost and hassle of a big trailer. Looks like it's got everything you need. |
| Jayco Jayflight 30.5 BHS Fifth Wheel | Ken K | I have owned my 5th wheel Jayco less then 2 months, and have experenced several major problems. First the microwave oven kept turning on at radom times on its own, we had to inplug it to make it stop. Second, both bedroom windows worked their way open as we towed the unit, the last time breaking the closing crank, and destroying the blind, I am not impressed, already looking for a new unit. Lots of space, but cheep materials used to build. Built cheap, looks good, no quality. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: No. Rating: 3/5.
