| Greg Keene | 2005 Foretravel U270 | We bought this coach new when I retired and we went fulltiming and have had very few problems. Even now I think it is one of the most beautiful coaches I've seen. We have the sable exterior with the cherry interior and even though it's only 36' long it has everything a 42' coach has and more. The 400hp cummins is a dream and we've loved every minute of our fulltiming. I guess I'm a foretravel fan. | See RoTi item |
| Ken and Penny Romford | 2009 Jayco Melbourne 29D class C | We traded our class A for a Melbourne 29D and so far I think it's one of the best things we've done! 3 slides and I really think it has everything we've ever had before and we've had 3 A's and one B. Our last A was diesel (Fleetwood), it was really good but I think the Ford Triton gas engine in the Melbourne is remarkable. We've been up and down really steep climbs with no problems whatsoever. Recommend Jayco. | See RoTi item |
| Gary Foster | Quicksilver Automotive Camper | I love my Quicksilver 10.0 so well that I put my story of how I found it at my website, agrm-lv.com. Just click on "Livin Lite" to read the whole story. | See RoTi item |
| jagco | Never overnighted at WalMart | I have never overnighted at WalMart, as we are presently only weekend campers, but see people doing it all the time and we will certainly be doing it when we go full time. I spend loads of money at WalMart and don't see it as a problem for catching a few winks. | See RoTi item |
| sparkybluedog | 2003 Starcraft Antiqua 195CK | We have discovered that the subfloor on our 2003 Antiqua 195CK expandable TT is rotting! I first noticed the floor softening, and then saw the black stains coming through the linoleum under the dinette table. Now it seems the whole front half of the camper floor is soft. The only source of water I can figure is a leaking elbow I found a couple years ago, and I have not idea how long it was leaking. The elbow is located behind the furnace. I never noticed the "dripping" out from under the camper until a couple years ago. Is it really possible this one leak caused so much damage? I wonder if there is a roof leak down through the wall that we're not aware of. This is a real shame, and we are really upset about this! We bought this camper new and have had such wonderful times and memories in it! I fell like just getting whatever cash I can from the dealer for it. In order to fix myself, I'd have to remove the dinette and storage benches, and maybe the sofa, and even the kitchen cabinets!! This is just horrible! How can a camper only 5 years old have such damage?!?! | See RoTi item |
| MG | Diesel - at least a dollar cheaper than unleaded | The simple fact is diesel should cost half of what regular gas costs at the pump, been that way for a long time, the reality and simple reasons for the increase are the road tax, the wars in the middle east and, the biggest one, greed. Kill the war, kill the road tax, kill greed and you'll be back to the lower price of diesel. It might not ever go back to half the price of regular unleaded, but at least a dollar or more cheaper. | See RoTi item |
| YVR | Re: Modern motorhomes need a highly customized chassis? | Years ago some bus's had mid engine powerplants including early versions of articulated's. The idea never took hold because access for mtce. purposes was a major headache. | See RoTi item |
| Charles E.Riverside Ca | 2008 Forest River Berkshire 36Q | We own a 2008 Berkshire 36Q. I bought this motorhome last September. At the time we had purchased a 30Q by Four Winds, the Hurricane model I had two
motor homes at one time. Sold my Hurricane about a month ago. The Berkshire is the best motorhome for the money. We just came back from 4 days
in San Diego. Iam a newby when it comes to motorhomes, this is my sixth trip on a motorhome, and the Berkshire has been a wonderful experience for me and my wife. When people in parks see this motorhome, they think it cost about $250,000, when I tell them what i paid for it, they are amazed with the features it has. This past trip I was next to a Country Coach Intrigue, and the owner had a plexiglass shield to protect the front end from stones. Told me he wished he had the 3m shield,. I told him it was a standard feature on the Berkshire, as usual no comment from him. Great Motorhome. | See RoTi item |

| Tom | 2007 Coachmen Concord 300TS | I have had my 2007 Concord 300TS for two years. With the exception of some minor plumbing problems initially the coach has been trouble free. It is roomy, comfortable and has plenty of power. I tow a 2003 Buick Century and have had no problems. The ride is comfortable and I am very pleased with the quality of the unit. I agree with two previou comments. 1. The bathroom could be a little larger it is pretty tight. (Minor inconvenience) 2. Leveling jacks would be a real plus. | See RoTi item |
| Montana Mike | Hybrid RVs? - love to hear why it isn't happening | On a recent trip through Colorado, I noticed the city of Vail is operatiing at least one Hybrid Bus. Railroads have been using Diesel Electric power for years, and ship builders for even longer. I believe this technology could produce far more economical trucks buses and RV's. I just don't know why it is not being used. It seems a smaller diesel engine operating a generator to recharge batteries or directly drive electric motors could operate these vehicles. I currently operate a 40 ft pusher, and room is not a problem. I would love to hear why it isn't happening. | See RoTi item |
| Seajay Cecil | Re: Overnighting at WalMart | Overnighting at Wally World. Every time I park at Wal Mart we spend between 50 and 100 dollars. Anyone that thinks the parking is 'free' doesent know my wife. Yes we stay at Wal Mart some of the time. Our trips usually last from 2 to four months and there are times we are 'on the road' and just need a place to park for the night. We stop at Wal Mart. We are self contained and we do not leave a mess. We do not use our slides or our awnings. We usually pull into the back protion of the parking lot, I walk the dogs,(and pick up after them) and my wife goes shopping. I can not remember one time that she did not come back with a shopping cart full of 'bargins'. She usually spends at least 50 dollars and one trip resulted in a gold and diamond ring for seven hundred dollars.
I say ''use it but dont abuse it'' Wal Mart is a good deal for them and us also... | See RoTi item |

| Bob Difley | Why aren't motorhomes greener? | Hybrid and electric school buses already exist. Manufacturers have the knowledge and ability to manufacture greener vehicles. So why aren't motorhomes greener? Look at it from the manufacturers standpoint. They have to manufacture what they can sell. When we as consumers start requesting greener vehicle manufacturing and electric and hybrid power, the manufacturers will start producing them. | See RoTi item |
