| Nashville RVer | We bought our first rv several months ago after renting one for the first time last year. We didn't do a lot of shopping around but did do extensive Internet research. We purchased a 2011 Fleetwood Tioga 24 DSL. We love the rv but are disappointed in the quality - cheap hardware, wood trim covered in contact paper, and just sloppy workmanship. Our unit spent 5 weeks in the shop 100 miles away for a list of fixes that included window
Leaks, trim that feel off the slideout while driving down the road, exhaust bracket broken, diesel generator problem, both sinks leaked, etc. We got our rv back 3 days before a planned week long trip and half the things that were
supposed to be fixed weren't!! Our dealer is over 120 miles away!! We expected a few issues but nothing quite like this. In retrospect I think we would have done much more shopping around and manufacturer research! |
| Como43 | We rented a Tioga last summer and it was great. We've compared many RVs and now have decided on the Tioga Ranger 31N with the queen bed and bunk beds. This is a really great layout for us and our 2 kids. |
| Francis 450 | I know that the major RV manufacturers are constantly trying to cut back on costs but in many ways RVs are getting better all the time. This Fleetwood is a case in point. I had a 2003 Tioga but it wasn't as nice as these floorplans. |
| Frank K | I recently looked at a Tioga and a Tioga Ranger. I think the Ranger is better value. Like it a lot. |
| Chris | I have a 2011 Fleetwood Tioga. This is my second Fleetwood and it's great. Quality improvements and great floorplans with these new models. |
| Snowbird | Thanks everyone, because of the information you all have shared, I am even more excited about RVing and the Tioga; which, was my first choice when I decided on full-timing (next year when I will retire).

| Jim | We have a 2006 Tioga SL, 30U model. After all the items that needed fixing from the factory were repaired, it's now a nice rig. I think the rear bedroom slideout should go the opposite way as with both of them out it leans about 3 degrees left on a level surface. Ours has shower only, no tub. Works for us. |
| snowbird | I haven't gotten a rig yet, but I am interested to know if anyone has a Jamboree 30u or Tioga 30sl. I've seen floor plans featuring shower with tub and I would like to know if they are 'sufficient' for bathing. |
| Connie Vogel | We have a 2006 Tioga and we love it, it's just what we hoped for. The only criticism with the 2006 model is last summer I'm not sure the air conditioning was good enough on really hot days. I hope this has been improved on the new models. |
| patti | We are now in our 3rd motorhome! First was Class C, 2nd was Class A, now back to Class C. We have the 2006 Fleetwood Tioga. We tow a 2004 Grand/Cher. Jeep and hardly know it is behind us! It rides and drives like a dream. It is a WONDERFUL RV with UNHEARD of storage underneath-lots of it. We never fill the whole area! The only problem we've had is the hotwater heater. |
| Robert Holmes | We like the Tioga it's a very nice class C motorhome and we've had good use from it since we bought it new (2006). We like the layout and the furnishings. We've had very few problems and we think it's good quality with one exception. The A/C unit is not good enough. Even with the blinds closed and the A/C full on we just can't get the temperatures down to a comfortable level when in high ambient temperatures (Florida 90+). If you don't use it high ambient temperatures it's a great motorhome. |
