| W Barcomb | Silicone is not the best to use. In the hot sun (Florida), the metal heats up and the silicone loses adhesion. A butyl adhesive works well. A quick fix is Waterproof foil tape available at Wally World. Can go on wet and sticks very well. It is used to fix plumbing leaks. Eternabond (Tm) is the best. spendy but works exceptionall well - 6/26/2011 |

| Pearl | I own a 95 Aliner classic. Have been having a terrible time with leaks around the bubble windows. Have scraped off and applied new silicone several times. Still 2 of the 4 windows leak! Am SO frustrated because I love my camper. It is perfect for a senior woman who camps alone. I hate to get rid of it, but don't know what else to do! If anybody has some ideas, it would be appreciated. Will consider upgrading to a newer model with a/c that is in good condition and at a good price if there is somebody out there who would like to purchase mine, as is. | orlando | Way overpriced for what you get. 5K A/C that sticks out. Bias Ply tires with white wheels. 2000 LB axle. instead of 3000 For 15K??? The patents must have expired so other manufactures starting to copy. Making same with out short comings above, more features and better running gear for 30% less If you want to overpay go get Chalet at least they have A/C with heat pump.These units will not hold their value as they have in the past. |
