Forest River says: "The V-Cross Super Lite is the newest member to the V-Cross family. Developed with a wide range of buyers in mind from large families to couples you’ll find the Super Lite floor plans and amenities outstanding at an affordable price. Aerodynamic V-Front designs coupled with the industries lightest weights make the V-Cross Super Lite a super buy for any RV enthusiast."

Forest River V-Cross travel trailer exterior - V front  An interesting aspect of the Forest River V-Cross is of course the aerodynamic V-shaped front.  This is used for different purposes in different models - but, generally speaking, the V-Cross series from Forest River capitalizes on previously unused space adding up to an additional 75 cubic feet to the conventional trailer design.
(Yes - this can be towed by the the famous Hensley Arrow trailer hitch - see these pictures...)

Just some of the standard interior features of the Forest River V-Cross Super Lite:
One Piece Linoleum Front to Back, Glazed Cherry Cabinets, Rounded Stile Cabinets-Kitchen & Living Room Overheads, 3 Burner High Output Cook Top, Carousel High Output Microwave, Double Door Refer, Double Sink w/ Raised Faucet, Indoor/Outdoor Dinette Table, Skylights Over Dinette/Sofa in Slide, Message Board w/ Central Command, 13.5 A/C, 20K BTU Furnace, Min. 2 LCD TV Locations with Backer, Cable & Satellite TV Prep, AM/FM/CD/DVD with Interior and Exterior Speakers

The ST Super Lite 27FK with coffee interior is shown below.  Roaming Times thinks the use of the front part of the trailer for the kitchen provides not only a really cool layout but also has space saving and aerodynamic benefits:

Roaming Times' reader quotes:
"Like the idea of the pointed front with differing uses. Not sure I know which I like best. Went to a dealer for FR and they only had the one with the kitchen at the front. Nice but I'd like to see more arrangements. If the V really is fuel efficient and why aren't all trailers like it?" (Gene)

"Really like the concept. Don't see why all trailers are not v nose - you gain space and reduce drag"  (Bob K)

TimWe purchased a 2011 V-Cross with front kitchen and love it. There is a lot of storage and it is perfect for a small family or a couple. Our first trip was to the mountains and we pulled it with a Dodge 3500 Dually and average 15 miles to the gallon through the mountains for more than 100 miles and that included sitting on the highway for over 30 minutes for an accident with the motor running. Not bad mileage for up hill and down hill driving. On flat ground I have gotten about 18 miles to the gallon towing the unit. Just like pulling anything behind a vehicle you know that it is there but with the sway kit there is very littl to no noticeable movement/drag. The V-Cross has surprised us with quality craftsmanship and cabinetry. The unit looks great and after shopping around for several months it met all of our needs and wants. Would definitely recommend the V-Cross and if there were any changes we would make it would be the leveling jacks but, that to me is something that can be done at anytime. Great product!!
cathWANTED TO KNOW IF ANYONE HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE V NOSE CAMPER I HAVE A GREY WOLF THE TIRES WORE OUT VERY QUICKLY ON THE INSIDE
Chuck(ie)Anybody know what it's like to tow one of these? Seems like the turning radius would be somewhat decreased, unless the ball comes WAY back from the tow vehicle.
