Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerSuzanneFor Sale 1971 Shasta Compact Asking $2,400 - OBO Original Wings, Original Shasta Metal Emblem, Original Compact Metal Emblem and A Clear Title These items in the heading are the hardest things to find on these highly sought after older trailers. I have seen many Shasta Compacts but it is rate to see the original wing, the original metal Shasta emblem AND the original metal Compact emblem. In fact, for years I didn’t even know there was a metal Compact emblem, I had never seen one. This very cute and hard to find lightweight trailer is a real attention grabber. The trailer weights 1125 pounds (according to the Shasta specifications) and is 13 foot long tongue to bumper. This trailer is so lightweight it can be towed with a car. It is ready for restoration or remodeling. This is a trailer that you can put your own design on and you won’t have to live with someone else’s design. This is your opportunity to HAVE IT YOUR WAY! The trailer does not leak now but has leaked in the past. It has a full-size bed, the original bunk bed, two closets (one of which could be a bathroom), jalousie windows, spare tire rack and awning rail. It does not have the stove or ice box. It comes with a microwave. As my restorer said “this trailer has good bone but does need work.” If you have questions or are interested in buying this trailer, call Sue at (518) 928-4868.
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerJamesLooking to buy one of these, please contact me if you have one for sale. I'm in GA. 95rcode@gmail.com Thanks!!
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerDoug GWe have a 2009 Shasta Air Flyte 12 (Orange), we enjoyed it very much. But we are selling it because we will no longer have space to store it. Asking price is $8,000 and we are located in the East Central Florida. Anyone interested can contact me at ddgut2@gmail.com
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerLk9/08/2013 Still have the Shasta . We already have the new one picked out. If anyone is interested its the 2009 red and white. I'm in south Florida . Low miles. New tires. It's clean and I have a clear title in hand. The dealer offered to take it as a trade in. I'm in reality. Asking 8300 on Craig's list OBO. Contact me at twistedsister1999@yahoo.com. If its not sold by 9/27 then I need to trade it in.
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerrickWe bought the Shasta camper because of it's design and function. The style is impeccable but the construction is cheap. We have had to replace the sunroof. The faucets in the shower leaked. The outside electrical power fell out. The "wood" trim has come unglued. The curved door pulled out of the chipboard. The tracks for the sliding doors also unglued and I needed to use foam tape to put back in place. The metal trim on the table also unglued. So if you want a pretty but subpar construction camper this should be your choice.
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerStephanieI am in love with this trailer and am looking for one to purchase... willing to travel for her, but am hoping to find one in/near the southeast. Contact me at stephyancey@gmail.com
Re: Coachmen Clipper Sport Camping TrailerBigBaronWe unfortunately had the same bad experience with poor quality/workmanship our 2012 Clipper Sport 126. We bought it sight-unseen (because we live overseas) after doing extensive research on trailers. The main reasons we chose Coachmen over other brands were: 1. The EZ glide "king-size" beds without support poles underneath, 2. The bump-out kitchen allowed more walk-around room inside, 3. The dinette made into a 70" long sleeping area per the brochure, and 4. The "4 inch-thick" mattresses looked substantially nicer/thicker than those of other brands. Well, the "king-size" beds aren't (70" X 73"), The dinette sleeping area is only 64" long, and the mattresses are junk. Our 2007 Starcraft 1701 has better mattresses and cushions! The roof seals didn't even make contact with the box on either the front or the rear of the trailer because the roof is too long! I had to install a 110V transformer, so I got into the wiring... Three wires for the water heater just fell out of the connectors when I tried to clean up the rat's nest of wires behind the converter! The chassis wiring is worse... Our first trip the main fuse shorted out, and the ONLY reason I knew where it was was because I had to crawl under the trailer to get it out of the shipping container! Don't even get me started on the canvas! I can see daylight in too many places to count. About 30 hours of tinkering so far to get things "right". I anticipate another 20 or so. Being overseas there is no warranty, but they did get me the parts I need to fix most everything. One word - cheap. I WILL NOT buy a Coachmen/Viking product ever again. Too bad, too. They have some of the best floorplans.
Re: Coachmen Mirada class A motorhomeIRVFRONT PRIVACY CURTAIN ON 2009 MIRADA NEEDS CLEANING. NOT SURE HOW TO REMOVE THE SLIDING CURTAIN FROM TRACK.
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerKarenI'm in the market for a 2009 Shasta Airflyte 12 & found one at an RV dealer's. When I called the salesman mentioned a small area of delamination. He said it wasn't caused by water. Is there a difference in how serious it might be if it was caused by water? krazresident@gmail.com
Re: Coachmen Spirit of America travel trailerJoeThe floor plans on Roaming Times doesn't include the model I want. I want the queen island bed in front, side dinette and across from the dinette a sofa. Full bath room in rear. I worry about water leaks in any trailer. Molded Fiberglass ones don't have much to worry about I have been told? But this aluminum construction is nice for a new concept. Does this mean the studs are aluminum too? Is the whole trailer fram aluminum? If so then they should just drain holes in the bottom of the side walls if it leaks. Any advice for me?
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerLkWe have a 2009 Shasta 12 airflyte. Going bigger soon. I need more room for a bigger family. If anyone is interested. Let me know. 11,500obo. In good condition and only used in Florida . We are in south florida and used it in the keys. Red and white, only about 1800 miles. new tires. Everything works great! Email me only serious inquiries, and scammers please look elsewhere. Twistedsister1999@yahoo.com.

Re: Coachmen Capri MicroBryanUsed to camp in a tent for years. Got tired of being rained out so saw this 179qb at local dealer. Right price wonder why we waited. Have only been out 3 times so far this year. Now winters here and am looking forward to spring..
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerSuzanne SchmidAbsolutely love this trailer! But have decided to settle down in a permanent trailer site and need a bigger trailer, so we are selling our 2009 Airflyte 12. We're in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area. $10,500 Feel free to email me with any questions. artisuz@hotmail.com Thanks
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerJeff DWe are looking to purchase a 2009 Shasta Airflyte 12. We're located north of Dallas, TX. davison.jeff@gmail.com
Re: Coachmen Clipper Sport Camping TrailerDee MageeBought a new 2012 Clipper trailer this summer. Workmanship is so poor that we have only been able to use it 3 times. Door did not fit and will not close. Still waiting on the replacement 3 months later. Seal under bed faulty and had to be replaced. Broken weld on water tank flooded camper on first use( no estimate when this will be fixed) and even have a hole in the canvas that needs to be replaced. Owned many RVs and campers before and this brand is AWFUL. Paid cash and could not enjoy it this summer at all. Nothing like trying to hold the door closed with bungee cords and not being able to use the water. What junk! You would have thought that it was made in China.

Re: Coachmen Mirada class A motorhomeRickWe bought a Coachmen 29 DS a month ago and have been in it the entire month. A few minor problems but overall we are really pleased with our choice. Yes, it is on the entry level compared to the other coaches but the price is hard to beat. Our dealer has been terrific to work with and hope we can buy another high end model when I retire an go full time in about 10 years...
Re: Coachmen Mirada class A motorhomeLittleJoeWe bought a 2012 29DS last year and traded it 4 months later. Nice looking but very cheaply done. Steering is loose. Cheesy curtains, no day/night shades plastic inside plumbing fixtures squeak, seating is horrible. Thick vinyl on couch squeaks, cushions on dining seats and couch are very uncomfortable. We play musical chairs every night trying to find a comfortable seat. Cabinet door closers are bad. The small plastic disc supplied for the bathroom sink won't hold water. Three burner stove doesn't have a cover. Not much bang for the buck. A few good features but a cheaply built rig. Don't do it.
Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailerKenI have a Reto Shasta 17 for sale. It is the red one and is lightly used. We have had so much fun, just the wife and me, but we now want to take the grandkids with us. I would part with it for $11,000. I live in Oklahoma and can be reached at (918) 510-7342. DONT MISS THIS ONE
Re: Coachmen Clipper Sport Camping TrailerTandEWe have a 2011 Clipper 107 and really like it. We added the furnace, A/C, cassette potty, and power lift and this camper certainly fits our needs. We camp with two adults, two kids, and our english bulldog and there is plenty of room. We downsized from a travel trailer and I must say I really enjoy towing this much more plus it fits nicely in the garage.

Does that ever apply to this lemon 3000 dollars for new seals 1600 for new hose valve for kitchen stove and we've only had this monster for 8 months used it 4 two SMALL trips and heavy rain (Florida) cut our trip short leaked through slides !! Re: Coachmen Capri Microjerry burrisneed owners manual for an o7
Re: Coachmen M-Series small travel trailerGeoffI wish that the floor plan designers of small trailers would not always try to squeeze a queen size bed into every design. Take the Coachman M-series model 4180 for instance and imagine the daytime space if the bed was a convertible setee instead. I personally would trade having to make the bed each day for more daytime space anyday.
Re: Coachmen Capri MicroAZJudeI have loved my 16 foot "Ms Capri". I have traveled all over the US with it. I pull it with my Kia Sorrento and although I don't get great gas mileage it has been a great combo. I travel alone and have plenty of room and the bed is very comfortable...bathroom shower is large enough to actually move around. I will be selling it this year sadly...health issues are limiting my travel but I'm grateful for the 3 great summers I have spent in it. My email is judereed@earthlink.net if you want more info.
