| Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheel | Larry | We recently purchased a "like brand new" used 2008 Cameo by carriage. Model no. is F35SB3. This is the third Carriage that we have owned, but we have not spent the night in it yet. Our question is this; on all of our other Carriages, there has been a panel that shows the level of all of the tanks (holding tank, water tank, etc.) but we have been unable to find that in this one. Any ideas as to where they may have hidden it? |
| Re: Carriage Compass fifth wheel | George Bowman | Does any Compas model have an extra bathroom with the door opening to the outside like the one in the Cabo 381 and 383 model? Please advise. gbowman7344@yahoo.com |

| Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheel | Gerry J | We have had a motor home for 6 years, and in March looked at a 2007 used Cameo 35SB3, and wow, forgot about our friends Montana 3400 RL, no comparsion,in all area's of construction and floor plan's use of room. Well I bought the truck now can't find another used 2007 Cameo 35 SB3, and new isn't in our budget, plus a lot of dealers won't take class A's in trade. Maybe some day.
Carriage you build the very best, period. |

| Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheel | Ken Payne | Re: Louise Lawrence
As a 40 year over the road truck driver, I may be able to shead some light on Tow Vehicles.
If the gvwr is 11,000-13,000 your should be able to get by with a 3/4 ton Pickup. Anything over 13,000 gvwr I would have nothing less that a 1 ton dually.
Dodge has 650 ftlbs of torque, Ford has 735 ftlbs and Gm has 765. It depends on which brand you like.
I currently have an 06 GMC crewcab 4x4 dually with 126,000 miles on it. I do hotshot work and am grossed approx. 30,000 75% of the time. The Duramax is an excellant engine, still is very strong and burns no oil. I have replaced the brakes, shocks a water pump, that is all.
A tip on tires, buy the best. I run Michelen LTX, with 88,000 miles on them and expect to last another 10-15,000 miles. Excellant on wet roads and snow and ice.
Bottom line, you cannot have too much horsepower or torque. I am waiting for the GMC's to hit the show rooms, thats my next truck for towing anything.
Best wishes, Ken |
| Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheel | carol smith | we are full-timing and have fallen head over heels for the cameo. the only problem we have is deciding on which one??? |

| Re: Carriage Domani travel trailer | Sasha | I LOOOOOVE the look of the Domani but I would like to see a washer dryer prep and a king bed option, plus a little more wardrobe storage. If it had all these I would absolutely HAVE to have one! |
| Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheel | Jamie & Dee Tarbell | We love our Cameo SB3 model.. it is awesome with plenty of room for us and guest. My friends call it my 5th avenue home. I encourage anyone who is looking for a 5th wheel to consider the Cameo. |
| Re: Carriage Domani travel trailer | dan | we full-timed for three years in a montana fifth wheel. Now we are thinking of doing it again. After looking at dozens of trailers the carriage domani dt2700 seems the right fit for us. It is loaded with extras and has a warranty for full timers. We've never seen a better looking travel trailer or better built travel trailer ever. Nice job Carriage!!!! |
| Re: Carriage Domani travel trailer | Mike | I own a Domani DF310 Triple Slide 5th wheel. The quality is excellent, however there is a problem. You will constantly have to answer questions about the Domani in the various RV parks. Many have never seen anything like it |
| Re: Carriage Cameo fifth wheel | louise lawrence | what size truck do you need to travel over mountains? |
| Re: Carriage Compass fifth wheel | Audrey | We bought a used Carriage 5th wheel 37'with 3 slides. Traveled to Alaska and out West and back to Maine. It was the first 5th wheel we looked at and the one we decided to buy because of the way it was made and designed. |
| Re: Carriage Domani travel trailer | Tiffany | I've been looking at travel trailers about 25' long and I really like this the best. The interior is really classy. |
| Re: Carriage Domani travel trailer | Adrian | Love the look of this inside and out. The quality inside looks wonderful and the price seems fair. I've heard only good things about Carriage from other RVers. |
| Carriage Cameo 30' fifth wheel | Tami | It's very well made, and it doesn't seem like Carriage cut too many corners in workmanship. Great interior colors and arrangement. |
| 2004 Carriage Carri-Lite Arizona room | myrt | WE ARE LOOKING AT A USED O4 CARRI LITE.IT HAS AN ARIZONA ROOM,AND I WANTED TO FIND OUT IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. |
| Re: Carriage Cameo | John C. | I just recently purchased a Cameo 31KS3. As an RV salesperson who sells the Carriage line, I can honestly say that these units are the best dollar value bar none. They don't have a disclaimer for full time living, and after visiting their plant on various occassions you realize the the meticulous care that goes into manufacturing this coach makes it a leader in the industry. Being in the industry,I could have bought any manufacturers product, but I chose to buy a Carriage because of price and superb quality. |
| 2007 Carriage Cameo 35SLQ | STEVE | I have a Cameo 5th Wheel 35SLQ and we are full time RVers, it is our home and we are very happy with it. We have so far never had a problem, I compared a cameo to a lot of 5th wheels and by far the workmanship on the cameo was far superior to anything we looked at. |
| 2008 Carriage Cameo F35SB3 | Bob & Carol | We purchase a 2008 Cameo, Model # F35SB3 in July 07. We love our new house on wheels. We will be full timers next year. We spent countless hours searching for the best 5th wheel that our money can buy and we found it. It has plenty of room space for the two of us and if we have our grandson for a week or two, there is room for him and his toys as well. I highly recommend Carriage Inc to anyone looking for a dream house on wheel. |
| 2007 Carriage Cameo | JW & Sue Drummond | We just got a 2007 Cameo and WE realy love it. It had what we wanted in a fifth wheel. It is the SB3. |
| Re: Carriage Domani travel trailer | Josh | We're tninking of going fulltime and I can't afford a big diesel motorcoach and don't want a 5th wheel. Carriage has a wonderful reputation and this travel trailer seems perfect. I'm going to check it out but feel sure this is the right rv at the right price. We love the interior pictures of the big model. |
| 2005 Carriage Cameo | RossieRoss | We have a 2005 Cameo and we love it. We're fulltimers and we intend to keep this rig as long as possible. The floorplan is really perfect and it tows better than I could ever have imagined. 10/10. Strongly recommended. |
| Re: 2007 Carriage Cameo | Larry Clark | The F35SLQ is one of the nicest floor plans we have seen. |
| Re: 2007 Carriage Cameo | Ron and Margi Johnson | Our 2005 Cameo has never had a problem. This is the best coach for fulltimers in our opinion. |
| Re: 2005 Carriage Compass TRAVEL TRAILER 32FBS | Linda | I am desperately search for:
2005 Carriage Compass TRAVEL TRAILER
Model # 32FBS (34')
I would VERY much like to purchas this unit. Also the 2004 is O.K.

| Re: 2007 Carriage Cameo | Grace T | We have a 2006 Cameo and love it. We think this is the nicest interior of any 5er we've seen. |
| Re: 2007 Carriage Cameo | Connie Todd | We've had our Cameo for just over a year and in that time the only problem we had was with the fantastic fan which was fixed by the dealer. We're fulltimers and we're very happy with the Cameo, it's the shortest length model but we find it has plenty of space. We bought the Cameo after recommendation from a fulltiming friend who has had his for 2 years with no problems. A great buy for a fulltimer. |
| Re: 2007 Carriage Cameo | Lee Nielsen | We decided to go fulltime in 2005 and wanted the best trailer we could find for the money we could afford. We visited Carriage in Indiana and were very impressed. We decided on the Cameo as having most of what we wanted. We've never regretted it, any problems we had were quickly dealt with by the dealer and we've really done nothing other than regular maintenance. The new SB3 looks great, I particularly like the side isle and the fully enclosed bathroom. |
| Re: 2007 Carriage Compass | Christine | I think that Carriage are the cream of the 5th wheels. With a fifth wheel a lot depends on how you look after it I think that is the key to how it lasts and looks. With Carriage you start off with something very good and the floorplans make me drool. I'm ready to change but my husband says not yet and he can be stubborn but I'm trying to get him to go with me to our local dealer. |
