C.W.How do you carry 4 bikes on a Roo travel trailer that is 19 feet? I have a Trailblazer.Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
JonJust bought a 2011 Surveyor 189 (19 foot). It has a noisy refer fan that is loud enough to keep you awake. When I took it into the dealer I was told they have had 5 complaints on units with the same thing. Of course the standard answer was "There's nothing we can do". After further thought, I called the dealer owner and explained how unhappy I was with the problem and their service department's response. The owner asked to keep the trailer for a few days while trying to get a "fix" from Forest River. I was told Forest River modified the fan to get the refer to fit and it left the noise problem. This is my seconf Forest River-never again.Re: Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
DisappointedBought new Forest River Surveyor 29 feet in May. Had problems with the slide and has been back at the dealer for 1.5 months now with them arguing back and forth with warranty division. Should have kept my Mallard. Re: Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
Donna Osborn2008 Georgetown gas class A RV. Under 5,000 miles. Loaded, generator, remote awning & stairs. 35 foot with 2 slides, auto leveling. 3 built in flat screen TV's, full bath and outside shower, king size bed. Tan leather interior with redwood cabinets & dining table. Has 2 leather couches that make out into bed. Will sell with all dishes & linens if needed. Must have $111,000 Can be seen in Sevierville Tennessee. 865-774-6055 8/16/2010Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Steve Riddle, OklahomaJust bought a 2011 Forest River Georgetown 37.8 TS and except for the defective louver air conditioner vents, which are being replaced, I love everything about my new motor home.Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
New CampersRecently bought our first brand new trailer, the Forest River Surveyor. Our steps do feel very sturdy and squeak every time you step on them. We looked at other brands and the steps are attached to the frames, but ours are not. The tech told us that is the way they are! Does anyone else have this problem?Re: Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
Khan BForest River make a great Rv. Never had a motorhome from them but this looks good.Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Wendell BakerOur 2006 Forest River Georgetown is great--except the transmission went out at 24000 miles. Over $2500 in repairs. No hauling of any vehichle. Shouldn't a Ford pump last longer than this?? Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
marianIs there anyone who has a 1998 Georgetown 325S brochure I can downloadRe: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Julie and BillWe have a 2004 Forest River Sunseeker. Forest River is good. We've had a good time with this little RV. We did get stranded for a week when our fuel pump broke. We love the size and cozy feeling. It's easy to drive. The kids love it.Re: Forest River Sunseeker class C motorhome
Tim SeattleBought our first new T/T, a 2010 Surveyor SP210, very nice trailer that is light enough to tow with my KIA Sorento. Only odd thing with the trailer was the DVD player is not hard wired to work with a TV. Seemed odd that Forest River would put in a DVD player without a way to hook it up. Furnace is incredibly loud when running. I have heard that is not a unique problem. Other than that great trailer with only a few minor defects at delivery (three loose and one missing screw) Re: Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
Craig PWe had a cherokee for a couple of years and really liked it. Like the floorplans now. Didn't know there were other floorplans when we bought ours, we just bought what the dealer had. We liked it but these reviews make you aware of the possibilities. Thanks.Re: Forest River Cherokee travel trailer
BTWe have a Forest River 23'. The front bunk on it leaked when closed up. Turned out to be the small channel that is where the hinge is located. This was clogged with leaves and all kids of other debris. We cleaned this out so that the water could drain, and we have been dry since. Be sure to keep all rain channels clear especially on a sloped surface.Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
Jan PWe have a 2008 roo and it's really great. Looking forward to using it again this year. Never had a leak or a problem. Really been nice for our family.Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo travel trailer
witherigwe purchased a 2009 rockwood minilite new from dealer then the dealer went out of business due to fdic closing the bank they used. so far very happy with the camper. Re: Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite travel trailer
BonnieWe just ordered a 2010 rockwood roo 23SS. We are very excited. We are upgrading from a Coleman popup, but we still wanted the openess. I will keep my finger crossed we don't have any leak problems. Hopefully they improve things year after year.Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
AcadianBobWe bought a 2008 SV235RKS. We found the quality of the trailer upon delivery to be excellent. In 40+ nights of camping, we have had 2 problems; a leaking water fill tube and a broken trolley on the slideout. Both fixed under warranty by our excellent dealer. This trailer pulls very well; a function of torsion bar suspension and the low ride height. We would definitely buy another Surveyor.Re: Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
Virginia BatesHave 2004 Georgetown, love it except half-time oven went out and dont know what to do, can anyone help??Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Hal PReally like this trailer. Looking to find an expandable Sport about one or two years old - halp437 at yahoo.comRe: Forest River Surveyor Sport travel trailer
Yves LacombeHave a 620ST for the past two years. It's a fine camper. I would trade the electric winch for a crank one but haven't experienced the freefall phenomenon the previous poster mentionned. Minor quality issues that were fixed by the dealer with no problems at all. Very happy so far. -- YvesRe: Forest River Flagstaff tent camper
hardin county camper Bought a 07 roo 23ss last summer. Like everyone else love the space it gives yuo. The only thing is the front bunk draws moisture when it rains. called a local dealer and going to look into a solution. Wish me luck...Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
Mark SpenrathBought new Georgetown 350 in August, had several warranty issues, dealer is 3.5 hours from me so finally arranged to get repairs done. Dealer picked up the unit November 7th and just picked up the unit Friday Januarary 23 to find o0ver half of the items were still not fixed. Ineed a dealer that will take care of this unit in the Cleburne Texas area. MarkSpenrath@mscsltd.comRe: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
CHRISHave a 2004 37' Georgetown motorhome. Drives great.9mpg Had some roof leaks.Easy fix. Great amount of storage. no elec problems. Not a fan of the leveling system but works. Forest river phone support was great when I needed them. Overall I love it :)Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Thr GizBought a 2009 model new. Love the layout. Only wish the factory would have checked it out before sending it to the dealer. Now I'm hoping that the dealer comes thru with his promises of finishing my two page list of "unfinished" items.Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
LeonardI have ordered the 2010 378TS and am sure looking forward to stepping up to this unit from our 2006 Forest Rivers Forester Class C which was a great little unit.Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Ken BolingerI'm a Forest River fan. We have the Salem LE 19BH. Very small but very easy to tow. No slide but everything we need. And the price was amazing. I look at many of these reviews and wonder why so many people pay so much money. The Salem is good quality at a real good price.Re: Forest River Salem LE travel trailer
LOOKING FOR.CAMPER/6CYN TOWHOW MUCH DOES THIS WEIGH//oNLY HAVE A 6CYLN SANTA FE. AND HOW MUCH$$$?Re: Forest River Flagstaff tent camper
JoleneWe have a 2008 Rockwood Roo 23SS. We love the camper - super spacious with the beds on the tent ends. Unfortunately, we have had, issues with the front fold-out leaking when closed up. LOVE the camper, really annoyed with the lack of response from the dealer. You'll love the camper and the space you get.Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
Bryan JWe have the 233 with tip outs and really like them. no problems with leaks at all.Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
GeneLike the idea of the pointed front with differing uses. Not sure I know which I like best Went to a dealer for FR and they only had the one with the kitchen at the front. Nice but i'd like to see more arrangements. Is the V really fuel efficient and why aren't all trailers like it if it is?Re: Forest River V-Cross travel trailer
sabrina osterlingMy husband and I just recently purchased a shamrock 22 ft. we do not have any kind of book on it can someone recommend where we can purchase a manual for this trailer. We are from Michigan Re: Forest River Shamrock expandable travel trailer
Clifford,SCI have an electrical problem with my lights in the hallway by the bathroom. Can anyone help me with this problem?Re: Forest River Berkshire luxury motorcoach
CVB texas boyWe're fulltimers traveling with a 1999 Forest River Georgetown 35’ M-346S motor home really good, it's served us well. Love to get one of these newer ones. What about that closet on the 379TS? wonderful feature.Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
swaenepoelWe bought a berkshire 360 QS and imported him to Europe. Not easy to homologate but so far so good.We have driven 2000 miles and we are very happy with our new motorhome. We use him to pull a horsetrailer of 5000 lbs, no problema...Re: Forest River Berkshire luxury motorcoach
KerryWe have a 2008 Georgetown and we've been very happy with it. I'd definitely buy another Forest River.Re: Forest River Georgetown class A motorhome
Fred RI own the 2007 19' Roo. We average 15 trips a year to varying campgrounds with different hook up options. Only problem is the front canvas leaks when the trailer is closed. We have taken it back several times without good results. Otherwise it has been a major improvement over the pop-up. 2007 Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
David08 Forest River Cedar Creek 34 SATS - Once we got it home and off the dealer lot it looks a lot bigger. The rear ent. center is real nice. Makes the trailer seem a lot larger on the inside. No problems yet. We cant wait to get it on the road more than what we have. The dealer we used is the best. We bought ours at RV Station in Bryan, TX. We looked at a lot of different sizes and makes we went back to the Cedar Creek. 08 Forest River Cedar Creek 34 SATS fifth wheel
Bob KRealy like the concept. Don't see why all trailers are not v nose - you gain space and reduce drag.Re: Forest River V-Cross travel trailer
BrighamWe have the 2007 model Forest River 2502. Real good deal with all the options about $15K. We pull with our Nissan rated at 5000 lbs towing. no problems plenty of power.Re: Forest River Rockwood ultra lite travel trailer
Chris HWe have the model 19 which is only 20'3" long. This gives you two 60x80 beds. How else could you get 2 big beds in a 20' long trailer? We really like it and no problems. The only thing I don't like is packing up after it's rained. Not good with the tip outs but that's the only thing. Re: Forest River Rockwood Roo expandable travel trailer
Jimbo43We have the 2005 Forest River Cedar Creek 30RKTS. Had several small things fixed when purchased, nothing major..Use all summer at coast.. Steve Hicks, (Forest River) very accommodating.. We love it and are very satisfied, have recently been looking at Cameo, Big Horn, NuWa and come back to our Cedar Creek and decided to keep it.. 2005 Forest River Cedar Creek 30RKTS
RossiterReally like Forest River. We have the 2008 235RKS Surveyor rear slide. Wonderful RV and great floorplan with the king bed slide and the twin bunks. Big enough for our family but small enough to tow easily.Re: Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
christinaWe bought the 174 with the slide-out. Amazing how much difference it makes. We really love it paid around $13000. Also looked at the TAB, no comparison!2009 Forest River r-pod small travel trailer
HershelbWe are looking at a 2008 Berkshire model BE360QS-30 the only thing that bothers me , the one we're looking at has the Mercedes Diesel instead of the cummins. we are trading in our 99 Monaco and have had such good service from the cummins we'll probly pass on this one.Re: Forest River Berkshire
Marrene WilsonI have a 2007 620ST popup camper with an electric winch. That is why I bought this camper. But I have had so much trouble with it because it requires the battery as well as electricity to raise the top. Otherwise, you have to hand crank it and it will not stop on its own. If you go the slightest bit past the taunt point on the tension line, the top will free fall. I know, because it fell while we were trying to put it up. It was very scary. Would someone like to buy it?Re: Forest River Flagstaff tent camper
charles patonLove forest river hated the dealer we bought it from. forest river have given us a lot of support and i really think they're a good company we have the surveyor and it's a really good rv. chuck.2009 Forest River Surveyor travel trailer
MIKE RITHE MINI LITE IS A WELL CONSTRUCTED TRAILER FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SMALL BUT WITH FEATURES OF A LARGE UNITRockwood Mini Lite by Forest River
Charles E.Riverside CaWe own a 2008 Berkshire 36Q. I bought this motorhome last September. At the time we had purchased a 30Q by Four Winds, the Hurricane model I had two motor homes at one time. Sold my Hurricane about a month ago. The Berkshire is the best motorhome for the money. We just came back from 4 days in San Diego. Iam a newby when it comes to motorhomes, this is my sixth trip on a motorhome, and the Berkshire has been a wonderful experience for me and my wife. When people in parks see this motorhome, they think it cost about $250,000, when I tell them what i paid for it, they are amazed with the features it has. This past trip I was next to a Country Coach Intrigue, and the owner had a plexiglass shield to protect the front end from stones. Told me he wished he had the 3m shield,. I told him it was a standard feature on the Berkshire, as usual no comment from him. Great Motorhome.2008 Forest River Berkshire 36Q
Gregory KempaI have a Forest River Berkshire with a Freightliner chassis. The best motorhome I have owned in a long time, only one problem came up, the Freightliner factory forgot to put the rear axle breather tube in and I was losing rear axle fluid while driving. They came to the Campground and installed it on site. Freightliner give very good service.Forest River Berkshire
pdqAlways nervous buying something new! Just bought the Rockwood mini lite 1809. Our first trailer was a tent trailer (Jayco 806), which had very good ratings. Had only minor issues and overall was an excellent trailer. Hope the 1809 is as good!2009 Forest River Rockwood mini lite 1809
