| real.escapes@yahoo.com | I saw a used 2007 Coachmen RV Capri Micro 159 DB travel trailer on a re-sale lot and fell in love with it but can't afford the dealer's asking price. Is there an older model having the Rear corner shower, toilet, rear corner double bed, refrigerator/TV above, double kitchen sink, 2 burner range, front sofa w/removable table? Please contact me by e-mail. Thanks. | Re: Coachmen Capri Micro |
| Tony | I am thinking about buying one for permanent residence. Would I be able to do that? | Re: Coachmen Spirit of America travel trailer |
| Rosemary | We have a 2009 179QB Capri Micro and we really love it. But with the grand kids wanting to go camping, we need something a little larger. We would be interested in selling it, but I almost hate to give it up. The bed is really comfortable and enough storage for us. We live in No. Calif and our email is rcosta@frontiernet.net It
s been used only 5 times in the 1 3/4 that we have had it. Very clean. | Re: Coachmen Capri Micro |
| HHg in Austin | We have the 2009 Prism M230 and LOVE IT !! We have experienced NONE of the earlier mentioned issues. Cabinets are great, full drawer sliders, great use of space. The Freighliner chassis w/the Mercedes diesel does get very close to the advertised MPG,..as we get between 16-17mpg. The only issue I would mention is the dealer we bought from,....they may be "BIG",.....but their service is terrible,...so use caution when selecting a dealer !
HHg | Re: Coachmen Prism class C motorhome |
| Northerngal | January, 2010. We are downsizing from a 38' diesel pusher... we saw a Prism 400 miles from us for sale.. 2009, but never titled. We made the trip and it was the biggest disappointment. The coach looked so good on the outside..stepping in, it still looked good. When you began to really look things over, it was a real flop. The overhead cabinet door would only open about 1/2 way. You would have to struggle to put anything bulky in.. the couches were so deep, if you were 5'4" such as I am, your legs stuck straight out. The wash basin vessel was completely out of place and corner storage cupboards wouldn't hold but one roll of toilet paper. The pleated shades had little pieces of foam on the underside to keep them quiet while driving with them down. The ambient, rope lighting, was falling down, but worst of all, was the 4" or less foam mattress on the hida-bed. When the bed was extended, the foam wouldn't relax at either end, but if you sat on the edge, you sunk to the frame. The outside storage compartment doors required you to bend over to see what was inside. The outside was attractive, but the unit is not liveable. I guess, that's why they took it off the assembly line for 2010. Anyway, here again, the pictures were great, the coach was not. | Re: Coachmen Prism class C motorhome |
| Tori | you all are all complaining about the price but have you really looked at what they are selling for? mid 60's! for the used units I have looked at by the time you buy it, repair and repair it, much less pay for gas at 6 to 8 mpg you would have been better off with the compact units! | Re: Coachmen Prism class C motorhome |
| Jerry | We are selling our like new 2008 21'Blast as we unable to travel as much as we would like to. Added features to it are - fiberglass sides, additional screen room and awning that attach to rear ramp and micro-conv oven along with electric trac queen bed. Paid $20,000.00 Asking $14,500.00

| Nancy | I have a 2007 Capri Micro 159 and it has been a very good trailer. i need to sell it so can get a larger unit.
| Re: Coachmen Capri Micro |
| Caroline | We've been looking for the right class C for a long time and I think we've found it. Looks beautiful. Really like the 240 plan. I guess the lounge and table are like a dinette. I gotta see it. Thanks. | Re: Coachmen Prism class C motorhome |
| Retro Ray | I have trouble accepting a "lite" trailer that has a slide. Slides add a lot of weight! | Re: Coachmen M-Series small travel trailer |
| Bike couple in Alabama | We bought the 170 Blast and couldn't be happier. Just some minor additions and it makes a great little camper for the money.. sure beats sleeping in a tent. | Re: Coachmen Adrenaline Blast Toy Hauler |
| Capri lover | The version with the slide-out is perfect. I think this is the best little trailer I've seen and I've been looking for over a year. | Re: Coachmen M-Series small travel trailer |
| Bluegrasser | I have owned a Capri 179 model for two years. This is perfect for the weekender may be a week. Has all the comforts of a larger more expensive trailer. Outside stereo, gas grill connection, shower (sand, mud, etc)and sets up in 15 minutes or less. Whether hook ups or not I'm there. It pulls very well; no fish tail noted and at 75 mph. Has all the ammenities needed inside. Now I wished I had the toy hauler... | Re: Coachmen Capri Micro |
| Dennis | You can't begin to call a Class C a comparison to a Class A, Try full-timing in a Class C ... | Re: Coachmen Concord class C motorhome |
| Rod Beatty | We've had 2 Coachmen travel trailers and have been happy with both. We now have a 2008 Spirit of America Since new we've spent more than 50 nights in it and have towed it more than 4000 miles. We have a Hensley hitch and love it, no problems. We've had a few problems as you get with any RV of course but nothing major and they've all been sorted under warranty. Good company. | 2008 Coachmen Spirit of America |
| vick | i love it. it's like a nice modern apartment. a step up from the freelander. i'm looking at a sprinter or freightliner class c as my first rv and this is the one i would buy if i won the lottery today !! p.s. great website | Re: Coachmen Prism class C motorhome |
| Kamping Girl | We bought the slide out version and LOVE it. Great quality and good use of space. The bed was pretty bad (aren't they all?) so we bought a foam memory topper and now it's great! | 2009 Coachmen M-Series small travel trailer |
| Ernie | Its right up my alley, and Im moving from a 1701 Starcraft to something with more comfort and weight wise is great | Re: Coachmen M-Series small travel trailer |
| Sheila | I saw this this New Shasta Airflyte at a RV show recently. I'm very partial to small trailers. This was the most stunning trailer there, hands down. The interior is simply beautiful with the woodwork and craftsmanship. The floor is beautiful and very retro. The size is great. With Coachmen selling, I wonder if this is the only year we will see this trailer built? | Re: Coachmen Shasta Airflyte travel trailer |
| JT | Look at the new Coachmen Freelander on the Sprinter Chassis, it's in the 60s and yes they do get great fuel mileage | Coachmen Freelander |
| Dan | If you go to the Coachmen RV site, they don't even have a link for the Capri Micro model. What is up with that?? | Re: Coachmen Capri Micro |
| Renee | We bought a used 2004 Concord 235S n 2005. It's a perfect size for two adults (sometimes with 2 grandkids). It drives like an SUV and has plenty of power going up hills. We've driven it places you wouldn't think of taking a big rig. We looked at a lot of B+ RV's before we decided on this unit and we love it! | 2004 Coachmen Concord 235S |
| Scott Allen | I restored a '62 Airflyte several years ago and we camped all over Southwest Washington in it. I'd buy this new trailer but no propane...I don't see the point in spending $20k when you have to stay in a parking lot next to a plug. | Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailer |
| rich in Va | I have a 1966 Shasta 13 ft---I am rebuilding the interior---it's a no frills unit--no bathroom-no furnace -no water heater--just stove and a little water no grey tank---i will add that.
rich.
| Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailer |
| Paul Rosman | I'm thinking about buying a shasta, looks good. I like the old style look of it but love the modern interior. Great job coachmen. | Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailer |
| David | Something this size would be perfect for one person; but, way too fancy and expensive to consider. A simple plan on this chassis would be perfect; at half the price. | Re: Coachmen Prism class C motorhome |
| Pam K | We've had our 2005 Shasta since new and have not had any problems. We find there's plenty of room and there's even plenty of storage room. I wouldn't want to spend long long periods in it but it's perfect for weekends. We pull it with our Ford Excursion with no problems. | Re: Coachmen Shasta travel trailer |
| Tom | I have had my 2007 Concord 300TS for two years. With the exception of some minor plumbing problems initially the coach has been trouble free. It is roomy, comfortable and has plenty of power. I tow a 2003 Buick Century and have had no problems. The ride is comfortable and I am very pleased with the quality of the unit. I agree with two previou comments. 1. The bathroom could be a little larger it is pretty tight. (Minor inconvenience) 2. Leveling jacks would be a real plus. | 2007 Coachmen Concord 300TS |
| Mike | I took delivery of a 2008 model 210 MPH Blast the last week of December 07. My wife does craft shows and we use it to haul product and sleep. Most of the time we dry camp and have used it successfully in cold weather with a few modifications. (PA, MD, De) I opted not to take the ONAN generator offered in some packages, I bought a Honda EV3000 that runs everything just fine and is much quieter. The gray water tank is a little small but I pump the gray into the black when I need extra capacity. My dealer quickly addressed minor workmanship issues. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. Coachmen toy haulers are excellent value. | 2008 Coachmen Blast toy hauler |
| Update from George | We've had our 2004 Concord 235 for about a year and have had very few problems with it. The construction appears to be very good and it is a pleasure to drive compared to the bus type Dolphin. Compared to other Coachmen products, this seems to be an unusually well-built rig. Wish I had the 300 with three slides, but maybe later. Would recommend. | 2004 Coachmen Concord 235 |
| Ken Arlington | We have a 2008 Coachmen Spirit of America and really love it. We got a great price and it's a great trailer | 2008 Coachmen Spirit of America |
| Phredsee | Bought the '07 300TS and really enjoy just about everything about it. Plenty of room w/3 slides, sleeping area is fine but bathroom could be larger (small price to pay overall).
Absolute pleasure to drive around, including pulling toad. Plenty of power and quality is excellent so far. Highly recommend it. | 2007 Coachmen Concord 3000TS |
| LWissel | We bought our 27' 2005 275DS concord new in 05 and it has the diesel power stroke. It's a little tight for space but we do get good mileage 15-19mpg with toad jeep wrangler. I try to keep the water and holding tanks down to minimum for trips and fill at destination. We had a roof leak and generator problem fixed at dealer. We are having problems with the exterior skin of the coach. Manufacture warranty did repair and had unit for long time. We really like the unit and the way it drives. We have property in the back country we travel to and it is easy to handle. The one thing it should have is the auto levelers. Getting setup level is a pain in the butt. | 2005 Coachmen Concord 275DS |
| Homer | I have severe doubts about the mileage factor. The coach looks great, but they have kicked it into the high dollar range. What you save in a few dollars of gas is eaten up by the high cost. Not what we need right now. | Re: Coachmen Prism |
| John K | 17 to 19 miles per gallon sounds really good to me, I get 7 mpg in my class A. I'd like to see a floorplan but it looks good for the price. | Re: Coachmen Prism |
| Robert Bathgate | We are looking for a little larger trailer than our Aliner Cabin A-3 that we own. Ours is a wet-bath. We would rather have the larger bathroom. We do not have a antenna on top either. A rubber roof would be nice too. Cable ready and a water purification system would be nice also. Coachmen looks good. | Re: Coachmen Capri Micro |
| Brian | Picking it up on wed. anyone have any input? Interior and exterior are beautiful. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. | 2008 Coachmen Wyoming |
| dale | The only negative comment I have is; I don't care for the stove next to the sofa. It could be hazardous & a cleaning problem. | Re: 2007 Coachmen Concord |
| Karl | Susan. What has your experience been with the cross country, now that you have had it a while? | RE: Holiday Rambler, Tiffin Allegro Bus, Coachmen |
| George | I'll be picking up a used 2004 Concord 235, downsizing from a '99 35-foot Dolphin. The Dolphin is just too big to unwieldy on the road (for me, anyway). Trying to take it down tree-lined streets was an adventure. I'm hoping to get good service with the Concord and be able to take it places I couldn't take the Dolphin. Will update later. | 2004 Coachmen Concord |
| Ken P | This is a great coach for the money. Inside it feels more expensive than others we looked at around the same price. 330 cat engine - no problems and plenty of power. We've had some coach problems but all have been dealt with to our satisfaction. A paint section needed treatment and an inverter fault was corrected. Our biggest headache was a bad water leak but that was dealt with quickly and a section of carpet replaced. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. | 2006 Coachmen Sportscoach Encore 40TS |
| Rhonda G | This is a great coach with good looks and plenty of power. This was a special anniversary edition to celebrate their 40th year building coaches. We have the 35 foot front kitchen model with 2 slides. A really nice coach that I would really recommend. We've had a few electrical problems but other than that it's given us really good service with no really major things. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again: Yes. Rating 5/5 | 2005 Coachmen Sportscoach Encore |
| Susan L | We have owned 5 RV's our Holiday Rambler was a real lemon. The Allegro Bus from Tiffin that was the last one that we owned was the best most wonderful RV we have ever had. We just bought a new Coachmen, I would love to hear from people that own the Crosscountry's to see how they like them and what kind of problems if any they have had. Ours is a 2006 | Holiday Rambler, Tiffin Allegro Bus, Coachmen |
| mdhandyman | Sure would like to see it inside | Re: Coachmen Blast toy hauler |
| Chris Carnforth | I looked at one of these in Melbourne Florida, only 15' long but with a shower, marine toilet and basic kitchen. The finish was really good for something so basic. Still thinking about it. | Re: Coachmen Blast toy hauler |
| Kenny K | We have the 2006 Aurora 31' with 2 slides and the workhorse V6. Like it but wished we'd waited a few months for the full wall slide. Looks wonderful. Maybe we'll trade one day but you lose so much on trade in!! | Re: Coachmen Aurora fullwall slide |
| Walt Kenning | We have a 2005 Concord that we traded for our 2002 40' Fleetwood American Dream. The Fleetwood was just too big, too expensive to own and operate and too many problems. We looked at everything we could in smaller coaches and decided on the Concord. For a start, it gets about 13 mpg compared to the Fleetwood 7 mpg (if we were lucky). We love it!!! We've had almost ZERO problems in almost 2 years. At this stage with the American Dream we'd had dozens of problems. Unless you're a fulltimer why would you want a 40' monster, our Concord is great for touring. 2 thumbs up!!! | Re: 2007 Coachmen Concord |
| Margaret | I think it's very basic and easy to tow, great for a young couple who want to travel. Not much use for me as a fulltimer but I would have loved it when I was younger and it's affordable. | Re: 2007 Coachmen Capri Micro |
| John M | I think it's perfect for a weekend getaway without the need for a special tow vehicle. I think the dry bath feature is a great improvement over the small RVs where the toilet is included with the shower space. | Re: 2007 Coachmen Capri Micro |
| Sonia Bruce | This is a really nice coach. The 3 slides on the floorplan shown look great. We have a 2005 Concord 275DS with 2 slides and we like it very much. The large bay window at the back is really nice. The quality and fittings of the Concord are good. We had a few electrical problems to start with but they were all taken care of by the dealer. I wish we had the 3 slides shown in the floorplan but all in all I like our 2 slide coach very much and I recommend the Concord. | Re: Coachmen Concord |
