Winnebago ERA 2010 class B motorhome exterior

Winnebago says:  "A fuel-efficient Mercedes-Benz diesel engine powers the full-featured Era. All of the premium features you want for life on the road are cleverly arranged in an efficient RV that is extremely easy to handle. It is this SmartSpace philosophy that allows the Era to make the most of the available space with innovative features and stylish touches such as UltraLeather furniture and bold exterior graphics."

The 2 pictures below show the beautiful interior of the 170X model (shown in Midnight.)  In the second picture you can see (as Winnebago describe it) that "the cab seats swivel to face the companion seats and become an integrated part of the living space. The table stows away for travel and can also be moved to the rear of the coach for added flexibility."

"The sofa comes standard in UltraLeather and can be upgraded to a power sofa that reclines at the touch of a button."
One RoTi reader comments (see forum lower on this page) "Best looking class b available and a wonderful interior."  Another comments:  "Good but I don't want a couch; I want two quality twin beds."  We like the couch arrangement below, what do you think?

PQBYou can pay a lot more money for a fancier version of this on the 2500 or particularly the 3500 chassis. But the 2500 chassis ERA is good value and good enough - everything about this ERA RT works well for 2 adults and 2 little kids on roadtrips so long as we don't want to live in it or try to pile too much weight in it. Even with the storage cabinet, it's a little light on luggage space, so don't forget the Thule hitch mounted trunk which will fit without an extender. We think the Sprinter may be the most competent vehicle ever produced even in the "industrial" version. You have to drive it to believe it.
SharonI'm just starting to research Class B motorhomes, but I'd get one with twin beds. I'm a widow but frequently travel with a grandchild.
samiamI love the Winnebago ERA but without the option of twin beds, we won't buy one. They would be much more convenient especially for older people.
TraveralerThe sofa is very nice but for two elder people twin beds would be much easier to get in and out of. For one person the sofa is ideal.
UP RetireesWe bought our ERA this summer at a substantial discount. We have driven it to California and back and love the manuverability and diesel mileage. My wife has mobility problems which makes this small unit ideal. We travel with Jake our 90 pound goldendoodle.
GordonLike the ERA we've had ours for 2 years. The 2010 looks good, same 2 floorplans I think.
mrlearLove that coach, gotta buy one
StillsmilinOwned one for about 4 months now, so happy with fuel economy, functionality, and ease of driving. It is definitely a "wow" vehicle!
IvanI like the twin beds. Being older and having arthritis it is difficult getting out of a bed set up like the queen bed/sofa.
IGC_Never been a big fan of the B class - I love Winnebago - but this seems like another over priced B class to me...Go big or go home...
JohnI think this has always been my perfect vehicle. I'd love to travel around the country in one of these. Either this or a Roadtreck.
Shobud SierraWe just got ours new, at a massive discount. Can maneuver everywhere I used to go in my old pickup!
ladebugI've had mine for 2 months now. Almost every weekend, I head to southern Utah. I LOVE this puppy. Great for 1 or 2 people, my bike, kayak, and general camp gear. Drives nice, all the amenities of home. My first RV ever. Easy to use and learn how to use it!
BagomanThe RS Adventurous has more features and better built and better warranty 4 year 48000 miles
Mike KNice Class B with major flaw. It's on the Sprinter 2500 chassis with severe load carrying capacity. Too bad Winnebago didn't go to the 3500 model like Airstream did.
michael truelGood but I don't want a couch; I want two quality twin beds.
Horry BarnesI would really like to buy an RV but I think this is not the best time. I've been looking and trying to choose for about 2 years and now I've nearly decided (Winnebago ERA class B) I haven't the courage to spend the money. Difficult to spend or borrow right now.
ColinBest looking class b available and a wonderful interior.
ErnieWhy not a twin bed option like some of the Canadian builders offer?
John PraviskyI've had 2 winnebagos and 1 itasca and I liked them. I'm now going for a class B, class A and class C are too big, and the ERA looks great.
John ScraseI really like this and I agree it could be America's answer to the Canadian class Bs. Even the price is reasonable for such a well designed and built unit. I saw one at a trade show last month and I'm really thinking about it.
DanaMiteLove them windows & sleek design; now 4x4 would be my only other request.
LSAt $10,000 less than the comparable Roadtrek model - this looks like it could very well be America's answer to Canada's hold on the Class B market.
Tom BThis is a really good looking class B. The 6'3" ceiling is a great idea.
