Roaming Times brings you the Tiffin press release of December 2009.  We will -provide a full review with interior pictures, floorplans etc. as soon as details become available:

he winds of change are blowing at Tiffin Motorhomes, where the high-end, compact-sized Allegro Breeze has joined the Zephyr and other popular models.

At 28 feet, the Allegro Breeze is 17 feet shorter than the top-of-the-line tag-axle Zephyr, but only 9.5 feet longer than a Chevrolet Suburban. The Allegro Breeze GVWR is 21,500 lbs.

"The Breeze is responsive to our customers, dealers and others in the RV market," says Bob Tiffin, CEO of the family-owned Class A manufacturer founded in 1972. "This coach is wonderfully maneuverable and easy to park, and we've included many of the high-end touches of our much-larger diesel pushers."

A concept model Allegro Breeze was introduced to dealers and news media today at the annual Recreational Vehicle Industry Association's 47th Annual National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky. The Allegro Breeze will begin appearing at Tiffin's network of dealerships in the U.S. and Canada in March 2010. Pricing has not been established.

Powered by a Navistar Maxxforce 215-horsepower diesel pusher manufactured in Huntsville, Ala., near the Tiffin plant, the Allegro Breeze is built on Tiffin's own PowerGlide chassis. Introduced in 2008 on the Allegro Bus, the PowerGlide chassis quickly became a popular option, offering one-stop service for Tiffin owners at dealerships and the Tiffin service facility. "This new motorhome enables us to reach out to new markets, including younger families seeking an alternative to more costly vacation arrangements and veteran RV folks who no longer want to drive, set up or maintain a 40-foot-plus diesel pusher," explains Tim Tiffin, general manager. "While we don't have specific numbers yet, we expect the Allegro Breeze will have good fuel economy — somewhere in the mid-teens of MPG — as a smaller, lighter coach with the Navistar engine. We will learn more in road-testing."

All the allure of the single-slide Allegro Breeze is not in the performance.

"The Allegro Breeze is a contemporary, exciting, high-end smaller coach," Bob Tiffin adds. "The furniture and décor are sleek. We also came up with a very attractive antique white finish for cabinets and drawer fronts. The whole package will be eye-catching at the beach, a tail-gating party or a campground. As the economy rebounds, we predict customers will clearly see the passion, value and quality we put into this new coach."

henryallegro fred 38tgb with freight liner chassis is the worst ride ever. the suspension is not made for an rv.Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
realtoreHave a 2006 37db Allegro Bay for sell. Make me an offer. Full body paint, good condition. 615-663-8900Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
J.J.Hello Allegro owners, my hubby and I are looking into buying our first motorhome :)we dont want to buy anything new and expensive to start out with so we are checking out older motorhomes. We really like the Allegro ones and found an 1983 to buy, my question and big concern is the gas when we ask people why are they selling most of the time the answer is that they are very bad on gas. Please give me your opinion, how bad are the Allegros on gas? all the other motorhomes are as big so I dont really think they can be that bad cause people still buying them, so what do youall think. I really want an older Allegro :)Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
Heather & DustinTo Rick...you have a 1979 wanting an 82 or 83 allegro...we have 1 sitting in our driveway and are wanting to sell it. We bought it to camp w our 5 boys but NEVER have time to! My email is heaherndustinmoore@yahoo.com if you are still interested. We live in south central Kansas.Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
Carlton WilkinsJim Shafer-I have been looking for this circuit breaker for about 3 weeks. Where is it. Yes we have a 2008 Phaeton 40 qdh and love it. Have had some issues with clutch fan but maybe they have been solved.Re: Tiffin Phaeton class A motorhome
P W BlackWe were pleased to trade for the New Allegro Bus. But that was temporary. No hot water on delivery and a few other glitches made the joy soon fade. It appears a lot of the folks who knew what they were doing were on vacation when our special order came through the line at Memorial Day. Looks good. Too many little annoyances and big that should never have happened. Hoping to survive the next trip. Re: Tiffin Allegro Bus motorhome
David & Mary GWe own a 2007 Allegro Bay 34XB diesel. We love it. We keep it garaged and clean and get lots of comments asking if it is new. The only problem we had was a leak in the dual pane window on the passenger side when it was just out of warranty. A call to Mr. Bob Tiffin resolved the problem. He truly cares about his customers. A lot of companies could learn a lot from Tiffin about customer service. This is our first Tiffin product but, God willing, it won't be our last. My older brother has a 2004 Allegro Bay and he feels the same about Tiffin Motorhomes.Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
JanWell we own a 1987 Allegro basement model, we are full time rv'ers and it is still on the road with no leaks or problems cannot buy better.Re: Tiffin Allegro class A motorhome
KellyTiffin make a great coach. If only I had the money this would be my choiceRe: Tiffin Phaeton motorhome
James FTI've had 2 motorhomes and the one Tiffin was the best. I'm looking around now and after looking at a few I think the Phaeton looks the best for the money.Re: Tiffin Phaeton motorhome
leona pWe have a new- 3 weeks old, 2011 Tiffin Allegro Breeze and want to have responses from other Tiffin Allegro Breeze owners about their new rv..driving? steering? on the road?Re: Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhome
Norman SmithWe purchased a 04 Allergro 30'from an RV dealer in OR the RV is great but due to poor cust svc we waited over a month to get it and then we were charged over $2000.00 for repairs. Please help. Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
Steve and JenniferBob and family have it done it once again...we are on our 8th Tiffin motohome and have nothing but "praise" for Tiffin. Bob truly believes in "we go where you go" as he stated to me once because his family name is on the side of every coach built. We love you Bob and Judy and keep up the excellent work. We are so proud of how you weathered the recent financial crisis and have emerged so much stronger. We will continue to pray for you and your family.Re: Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhome
BrendaDoes anyone know where the resettable fuses are? We lost air and radio and other power on the dash and the driver's electric seat.Re: Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhome
Don & MaryWe are looking for a pre-owned Allegro Bay Diesel. We presently own an Allegro Open Road, but would like to move to the next level. Anyone need a buyer?? We're seriously looking for one with at least three slides, low miles and a washer/dryer, or washer and dryer. Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
jean SmithWant to own a diesel pusher 36ft.four slides 2009 or 2010Re: Tiffin Allegro 2009 36 feet diesel pusher
Pat C.Really like the looks of the new Tiffin Breeze. Looks like it has lots of basement storage that I lack. And diesel to boot! I have a 1994 Allegro DA28 which is great. Will have to wait another 15 years to find a used Breeze that I can afford. Maybe I'll win the lottery!Re: Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhome
Kevin 457I'm really interested. Don't want to drive a 40er any more. Waiting to see pricing. Great idea.Re: Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhome
Casey KTiffins just keep getting better, in fact I think they're the best. I have a 2007 Allegro and it's a delight.Re: Tiffin Allegro class A motorhome
SkipWe purchased our 2009 Allegro Bay late last year. We absolutely love it. We traded in our 'ol Winnie in on it and have never been happier. The people at Happy Daze RV took care of us. Top notch customer service for us. I recommend Tiffin over anything else out there. We were looking into a Monaco, but the Allegro Bay grabbed our attention and has not givin us one issue.Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
Bob & PatBought an 08 Allegro 34' at recommendation of friends. Unhappy with dealer we purchased from. Leave that one be. But are very happy with response from Bob Tiffin regarding front windshield that had to be replaced twice. So far no problems. All other problems minor & fixed easily. We have been looking at other RV's & keep going back to our Allegro. Just like it best. We are thinking upgrading to a diesel & have been doing a lot of comparing and are convinced that we will stay with Tiffin product of some kind.2008 Tiffin Allegro Bay class A motorhome
Russ I am the proud owner of a 2007 Alegro Bay Fred. I had a 2005 Alegro that I also bought new (Workhorse) Had no and I mean no problems with this one. I did have some problems with the bay that were corrected at the factory. Met Bob Tiffin at Lazy Days, FL in the year 2000 and I think he is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. He does his best to satisfy his customers.Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
Don W.I have a 2007 Allegro 34 TGA on a workhorse chassis with 6500 miles. It is a great motorhome.Re: 2008 Tiffin Allegro
daywalker567We too have owned 2 Tiffin Allegros. We bought both used. The first was a 1996 with no slides. It had been maintained extremely well and brought us a really good trade in value when we upgraded to a 2005 with 2 slides. Both were 28 feet long. We love camping in our 05 and have had no problems with either of them. Great products from a great manufacturer who stands behind his products.Tiffin Allegro motorhomes
RickI have a 1979 29' Tiffin triple door. I've been looking for a 1982 or 1983 34' triple door. Does any body know of one for sale/trade preferably gas? Thanks. Re: Tiffin Allegro Bay
Frank TI purchased my first new Allegro in 1986 & had it for 10 yrs. when someone decided to alter the shape of it. I the got a used brand "X" and kept it for one year then purchased a new 1997 Allegro Bay I had that until I bought my 2007 Allegro Bay. I have been to the factory several time and was treated like royalty, any problems that I had (minor ones) were corrected promptly. The service you get with Tiffin Motor Homes is great whether done at the factory or at the dealers. Great product I wouldn't even think of buying another brand when I buy another motorhome.2007 Tiffin Allegro Bay
Dr. Wayne ScottOver the past 4 months I have had the opportunity to test drive 3 Allegro Bay FRED's. All were the 36 or 37 foot version. Noise was very low and 100 times more quiet than my Ford F53 with a V-10. Stability in my opinion is better than any Diesel Pusher that I test drove, and I have driven over 20 different Diesel Pushers from Country Coach, Monaco, Gulfstream, Dutch Star, Newmar, Holiday Rambler, Beaver, and Winnebego. The FRED with all that weight right over the front wheels is as "steady as a rock" in the wind and around 18 wheelers. I found power, speed and torque to be very adequate. Also because of a bad salesman, at a dealership....Mr. Bob Tiffin even had one deivered to my house, for me to test drive. YOU CAN BELIEVE ALL OF THE GOOD THINGS THAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT TIFFIN !!!!!! THEY ARE TRUE !!!! And I believe that the Tiffin FRED's are a great product. If it hadn't been for a divorce and my ex-wife stealing $80,000 Dollars out of the bank accounts I would have had a Tiffin by now.2009 Tiffin Allegro Bay
M JeffriesWe are actively searching for our first motorhome and find the Phaeton to be the best value. It is very luxurious with all the features we are looking for at up to half the cost of some other brands. It drives like a dream, too.Re: 2008 Tiffin Phaeton
Dusty MWe bought a phaeton in Jan 08. We set out traveling, and it has been a dream come true. We stopped by Red Bay to get a windshield replced. A rock had damaged it. Every one asked did you meet Bob Tiffn. I answer yes. I met his caring professionls. His enormous facilities, toured his plant, and even powered my motor home with his electricity. Yes I met him, without borthering him. HATS OFF to you BOB you designed a good product, sell it at a resonable price. And by way of our visit I found you back it up with goodwill toward your customers. 2008 Tiffin Phaeton
John KWe have a 89 allegro, we love it. we intend to visit Bob Tiffin in march and hope to meet him. Never heard a bad comment about Tiffin.1989Tiffin Allegro
C & LWe have a 2007 40 ft Phaeton. We absolutely love it. Tiffin products are QUALITY. It is true they offer the best customer service we have ever seen. We have had a few items that needed to be to be fixed -- they were done without hesitation and done totally professional.2007 Tiffin Phaeton
J. KellyWe have a 2005 Tiffin Phaeton that we bought from Lazydays. This is our first diesel motorhome and it's been almost trouble free. Lazydays are easy to work with and I'd recommend them and the MH. Our previous MH was a Fleetwood Pace Arrow. It was OK but I much prefer the Phaeton.2005 Tiffin Phaeton
EdLook for a programmer to re program the engine. They work!!!RE: Tiffin v Fleetwood mpg
Joe McWe have found that Tiffin Allegro 32ba has exceeded all our expectations. The customer service from Tiffin is without reproach. Thank GOD for Tiffin.2008 Tiffin Allegro
Guy JamesWe have the 2007 Allegro 32BA with the W20 workhorse chassis with 20700 GVWR. Very very good. I've been told Tiffin are good to deal with, but I've never really had a need to contact them. Their product is excellent. The only minor problems we had were with the shower door and a few minor electrical items taken care of by the dealer. I actually had a chance to drive both the workhorse and ford chassis versions and we chose workhorse, but the Ford seemed just as good. The only thing I would do differently now is I think I would go for the 34TGA model. The Phaeton is something else however. This is what I really would like if I had the money.Re: 2008 Tiffin Phaeton
RussI am a believer in Tiffin Motor Homes. I have had 2 and driven 2 others, owned by someone else, I have been to the factory for minor repairs. My first was an Allegro boought new in 1 2005 at Lazy days in FL. Took it to Red Bay, Al to have some things added. I did not have one complaint on this coach. I traded it on an Allegro Bay (Fred) because it had 4 slides and was a diesel. Bob Tiffin is one of the nicest man you will ever meet. His door is always open. This is gospelTiffin Motorhomes
Tony EstrinWe have a 2006 Tiffin Allegro 35TSA with the Chevy Vortec V8. Very few problems. Good dealer, good trade and where we've had dealings with Tiffin we've been very satisfied. We had a 1998 Allegro 31M before this so we've had many exchanges with Tiffin and know they stand behind their motorhomes. We like the quality of the Tiffin product. The new Phaeton looks real good, the 4 slides and the 42QRH floorplan we like. Tempting to trade up, would be good to go to Diesel with the extra length and space. This would be the coach for us, we'd go for Tiffin again for sure.2006 Tiffin Allegro 35TSA
Dennis and DianeGreat unit ... no problems ... best interior and confidence with company many cupboards, great look, great arrangement King Camper in Wausau, WI great dealer Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. 2005 Tiffin Allegro Bus
KarlSusan. What has your experience been with the cross country, now that you have had it a while?RE: Holiday Rambler, Tiffin Allegro Bus, Coachmen
Klaus PThis is our 3rd motorhome and by far the best. We like the layout and the Ford engine on the Ford chassis has given no problems in about 9,000 miles. I'd go for the full body paint if we were buying again but the exterior looks good in any case. We got the driftwood finish but the new ones have a bigger selection and I think they've improved them. The dealings we've had with Tiffin have all been good and I would recommend them to anyone. Minor problems have all been taken care of promptly.2007 Tiffin Allegro, 31' with 2 slides
Susan LWe have owned 5 RV's our Holiday Rambler was a real lemon. The Allegro Bus from Tiffin that was the last one that we owned was the best most wonderful RV we have ever had. We just bought a new Coachmen, I would love to hear from people that own the Crosscountry's to see how they like them and what kind of problems if any they have had. Ours is a 2006Holiday Rambler, Tiffin Allegro Bus, Coachmen
Ronnie RonaldoI have a 1978 Tiffin Allegro and I've owned it for about 10 years. I maintained it well and never had a problem until about 4 years ago when I suddenly had an engine fire. The engine is a dodge 440 and I've heard of other people who had this same problem. I mentioned this problem on Roaming Times and a guy emailed me and then sent me a wiring diagram. Jim Thomas is his name and it was really nice of him to help me. I then redid the wiring and a few other things and all was OK. Now about 4 years later my 78 Allegro is still going strong with very little other than routine maintenance. I think older motorhomes can be wonderful if you're lucky. 1978 Tiffin Allegro
JayIt all depends upon the previous owners care. We bought an 89 Allegro Moho 2 years ago, and love it. It has been well taken care of, and has not given us any problems at all. 1989 Tiffin Allegro
Bruce CThis is our second RV. One cabinet (under sink) door, frame cracked. New door shipped by Tiffin within one week. Recall notice by Tiffin about electrical panel problem. Problem was wire connection to circuit breaker tightness. I corrected in 10 minutes. Three week, 7,000 mile trip this summer, no problems. Several weekend trips, no problems. One week, 1200 mile trip in Sept, no problems. Everything works as intended, no leaks, no rattles. Very well built. Plenty of space (two slides). Split bath was not our preference but is fine. 8.1 liter Chevy and 6 speed Allison trans gave very good mileage, plenty of power. Dealer - Campers Barn in Kingston, NY was excellent. Coach was ready when promised No hassles on trade in. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. Tiffin Motor Homes 2006 Allegro 32BA
Lathaniel I am now on my second Tiffin Motorhome. The first was a 1980 37ft Allegro A on a Dodge 440 Chassis. The second is now my current coach, a 1983 33ft Allegro triple door A. Even all those many years ago, Allegro and Tiffin motorhome were made to last and last and last. Both of mine have been mint, like new condition. Tiffin has the best customer service in the industry and their coaches are built to last for always. If this is your first Tiffin Product, you will from this point on, not ever find one as well built, as easliy serviced, nor will you be given such amazing customer service. Anyone I've ever talked to about their Tiffin, has never switched to another name brand. All coaches have problems in the beginning, its how they are fixed and the customer service behind them that makes the difference. Your problems pale in comparrison to most. I work for an RV Dealership, trust me, you haven't really had problems yet and with a Tiffin, you more than likely won't see any big ones. Happy travels. 1983 Tiffin Allegro
David PWe have a Tiffin Allegro. We love it. No problems so far. We have only had it for 6 months, but have been on 6 different trips already. One all the way up to Washington State. Smooth sailing all the way. With the wife and three kids. The interior is fine except for the window shades. they seem to raddle a bit when we are on the road. Also, the drivers side seat belt gets stuck. It has a nice slider that makes it very comfortable when parked. We bought it used from Mike Thompsons RV in Orange County, California. We got a fair price and were treated great. After we bought it, I noticed that one of the jacks was bent. They replaced it for free! Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. 2001 Tiffin Allegro
