In fact, many of the high-end features that come standard in the Jay Flight are only available as expensive upgrades in other RVs. Alison We have only had our Jayco since the end of February. Brand new 2011 when we bought it. Since we have had it, we had a leak from behind the stove due to cracked tubing from where the fresh water is put in, our outside kitchen area was leaking with every rain and after numerous attempts at caulking, we think it has finally stopped only if we don't have it open when it is raining. And now, after only having it in our possession for 3 months because for 4 weeks now, it has been sitting at the dealership waiting to be worked on, the brakes need adjusted apparently and the dealership says it isn't under warranty and it is a "maintenance" issues and our $. Not to mention that the salesman that was so accommodating before we bought it won't even return our calls, and we found out the company has never put the warranty in our name. Found that out after calling Jayco directly to file a complaint. Not to mention that my husband had to leave work to go to the dealership and PROVE it was the camper and not the truck due to inexperienced staff. I can't believe after all the hype that this is what we are experiencing!
Steve HowardI bought a new Jayco Swift in March of 2011. I have never pulled it anywhere except home from the dealer in Linn Creek Missouri. It leaked rain water all the way home from the front panels. Tony told me they forgot to caulk the seams inbetween the aluminum panels at the factory. Gimmie a break. These people could be the poster child for POOR customer service after the sale. I am still fighting with them.
Dane GoodwinKevin, I am at the factory and willspeak to someone about your issue with the Jay Flight. This is unusual for Jayco. Phone 870-334-2189. Dane - 3/21/2011
george thompsonBought a new 2009 jayflight G2 25 ft travel trailer, love the floor plan,we have used it twice and on both occasions the water tank would siphon out while driving to our camp site(water tank empty) the company says I should install valves on the overflow pipes,it seems to me that type of defect should be the companies obligation, would appreciate feed back on this problem. thanks
Anabel LWe have the 32BHDS and we love the floorplan and the better quality of the G2 after looking at as many floorplans of the Flight and G2 as we could find. The bunks, dinette and kitchen arrangements are perfect for our family. The only thing I would change is the main bedroom area could do with a bit more space. But all in all we love it and think it's worth the extra for the G2.
John364I wonder what the real differences are between the Jay Flight and the G2. Need a dealer that stocks both I guess.
HansI had a Jay Flight until last year and we sold it because we moved west. Can only say good things about Jayco and the Jay Flight. Real value for money. Thinking of the 24RKS, like the rear kitchen arrangement.
HarryI am thinking of getting the 22fb. They look great. I am wondering about pulling. I plan to use a Totota Tacoma V6 they are rated to 5000 lb. the new ones 6500 lb Will this be enough truck? Specs say it is but I'm noy sure? Thanks for input Harry
westcoastcopWe have the 2008 Jayco Eagle 351RLSA. This is our 5th new Jayco...and again we are pleased with the buying experience at the Dealer...and are yet again continue to be dazzled by the quality, workmanship and incredible attention to detail! And so many things not listed in the brochure are standard. Jayco's are built by a company that is still owned by the original family, 41 years ago. They aren't like some of the RV companies that make 30 different brands...Jayco just makes Jayco! They have a 2 year warranty that they actually have no restrictions on. Some manufacturers void your warranty if you full time or use it as a "residence"...not Jayco! And the double stacked structural steel frame instead of cheap flimsy aluminum frame. Real oak wood cabinets and drawers instead of particle wood used in other brands. Tinted Safety glass standard. About 20 items are standard on Jayco that are extra cost options on other brands. And Jayco uses name brand stuff on their RV's...not cheap crappy no-name appliances. Goodyear tires, Atwood heaters and water heaters, Sharp DVD TV's, Samsung microwaves, etc. And you'll find if you do happen to have problems (our last 4 Jaycos never had any issues!) the Jayco folks say that they treat their customers like family...and they DO! Jayco gets ***** 5 Stars for sure!
Jen BurchWe have a 2006 Jay Flight. We looked at many trailers and finally found this with the right price and the right floorplan. The quality is excellent and all minor problems were taken care of. Jayco are great.
BarbiedollWe love Jayco. We have had 3 jayco trailers; a 96n26 ft, a a designer 35 ft at a permanent summer campsite, and finally, an older 95 pop up we bought to run around in Wy and Mt. it even had a gas heater, and when we got caught in a surprize snow in Utah in Oct, we actually used the heater. We survived amidst the 40 ft Motorhomes. This looks good. Go jayco.
Jennie DubnerWe've had 3 Jayco's. We had a 99 Designer, a 2003 Kiwi and now we have a 2008 Jay Flight. All quality. I recommend Jayco and wouldn't buy anything else.
Steve & PamJayco - Quality Quality Quality. We have a 1997 Jayco MH. 21' Only thing we'd change -- needs a stationary bed. Wish it was a little bigger. Drives easily. Love the new Jayco's.
WILL & MichellBought 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 22FB in 2007. Great trailer for the price. No slides, but still has plenty of head room and walking area. Bathroom is plenty big to read the paper, and take a shower. Lots of storage space Oak cabinets, seperate QB room in front. Easy to pull, and park in campsite. NO PROBLEMS, 2 year WARRANTY. JAYCO ARE A GREAT BUY.
