FLOORPLANS

We show the floorplans below - click for a bigger picture:

The Jayco Precept - model 24SDS - has a really nice floorplan arrangement.  This is the only floorplan available at the time of this review (8/09).  With a double bed and a well thought-out bathroom arrangement the rear of the coach is standard.  Forward however there are options.  The dinette has the option of a comfort lounge and sofa table and the cab-over bunk can be arranged as an entertainment center.  As you can see from the pictures above, the quality of all the fixtures and fittings really good...

The Precept’s standard features include a 19-inch digital LCD HDTV, cable TV hookup with RG-6 coax, Onan 3,200-watt Quiet Diesel generator with auto-changeover, halogen lighting throughout, outdoor media center and a Carefree patio awning.

Several options are available on the Precept, including a 400-watt inverter, Diamond Shield paint protection film, front entertainment center with 32-inch LD HDTV, leather furniture, Premium Paint Package, privacy night shades in windshield and driver/passenger windows and satellite kit.

Doug PaulLike it very much but wish they had more floorplans. Don't like the bed arrangement. Like access from the bed from both sides. But the quality and style looks typically Jayco and that's good, I think they're a quality company and make quality RVs. I'm looking thro RoTi for a C. I had a Jayco trailer that I was sorry I sold the next two weren't half as good.
TrishaWe have a 2007 Melbourne. Nice motorhome like the arrangement. A few problems but taken care of. Jayco is a good company and makes a really nice class C.
Ken and Penny RomfordJayco class Cs are the way to go. We traded our class A for a 2009 Jayco Melbourne 29D class C and so far I think it's one of the best things we've done! 3 slides and I really think it has everything we've ever had before and we've had 3 A's and one B. Our last A was diesel (Fleetwood), it was really good but I think the Ford Triton gas engine in the Melbourne is remarkable. We've been up and down really steep climbs with no problems whatsoever. Recommend Jayco.
Steve & PamJayco - Quality Quality Quality. We have a 1997 Jayco MH. 21' Only thing we'd change -- needs a stationary bed. Wish it was a little bigger. Drives easily. Love the new Jayco's.
Jerry AndersonWe have a Jayco class C - the 2007 Melbourne 29D. Great class C. A few problems to start with that should have been taken care of by the dealer but after that it's been fantastic. Like the layout with 3 slides and find it's easy to drive and plenty of power. Get about 13 mpg but with a toad it goes way down. 2 year warranty is good. We bought the Customer Value Package and I would recommend that. This is my second Jayco and third RV and this is the best. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5.
