Gulf Stream say the all-new 2010 Montaj is the "evolution of the American RV industry".
They say: "The time and research into the most efficient and effective use of space and best components keeping the overall dimension a priority, is why the Montaj is the most liveable motorhome you’ll find in today’s new market of savvy, quality-conscious travelers."

The pictures above and below show the well thought-out use of the space.  The front seats turn to become an integral part of the living space.  Gulf Stream says: "Elegant radius solid hardwood cabinetry acts as the backdrop to the most well laid out floor plan. With the integration of the Euro chairs in the cockpit, and the horseshoe residential hide-a-bed sofa, all riders can enjoy comfort and space as they watch TV on the 32” LCD monitor which is perfectly located for everyone’s viewing enjoyment."

Some features of the Gulf Stream Montaj (Gulf Stream information):

  • Driveability - drives like an SUV

  • Aerodynamic - low profile with over 1/3 less side wind resistance giving an average of 13mpg

  • 30' turning radius - The Montaj has a turning radius that is 12% tighter than other typical Class A’s

  • "Leading the RV industry in environmental efficiency. Starting with the Ford chassis and 5.4 liter gas engine, to the lightweight construction techniques integrated throughout the design, and culminating with the overall efficient profile elements, the Montaj assures you the highest of an energy performing motorhome."

  • "Not only is the Montaj the most fuel efficient and environmentally responsible, the materials used are lightweight, recyclable, and have reduced chemical make-up."

  • Gulf Stream say that they have designed "the most ergonomically developed cockpit of any Class A in history. Luxury driver and passenger seats that completely swivel for full participation with the rest of the living room and an optional center table with cup holders make this arrangement like no other that has ever existed in a gas motorhome."

Therese Can the MONTAJ pull a 7500 lb trailier? Looking to buy.
Roy HughesI think this Montaj is leading. It's a bit different from my Fleetwood which gets 7 mpg. 13 mpg sounds good to me.
Rick HI have the 2006 Gulf Stream Tourmaster, Beautiful coach and no problems. This is our 3rd coach and the nicest. Like Gulf Stream
Chris and Toni WellsI have a 2006 Tourmaster T40. This is a very nice coach at a very nice price. I was nearly put off buying it by an article I read on some website (not RoTi) complaining about the A/C units. I've used it in very high temperatures however and can say nothing about it other than the A/C is more than adequate. Perhaps they upgraded it or the insulation. As for the rest of the coach we just think it's a dream. We traded in a 2002 Tifin Phaeton to buy this. We loved the Phaeton but this is a better coach. Recommend Gulf Stream. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5.
Rick MarstonWe have a Gulf Stream. A 2006 Endura. We've really loved this RV and used it a lot since we bought it. It's changed our lifestyle and if you're thinking about doing it you should. The endura is wonderful but we've had a few problems. We had a clogged fuel filter that caused a lot of worries and quite a few electrical problems. These were sorted by the dealer but the worst was the slideout locked out. Took us 3 days to get someone to come out and look at it because I didn't want to drive it with it out. It was fixed but it still makes me nervous. Other than that I recommend Gulfstream. Happy camping everyone.
