Damon Astoria class A motorhome exterior

Damon says:  "Astoria is a true utopia of features and benefits that make Class-A travel great: Spread-out room thanks to a wide-body design. Comfort with two standard brand name air conditioners, an Onan generator, and a unique ducting system. Power provided through a 340-hp Cummins diesel with Allison 6-speed auto transmission. And luxury with up to four standard LCD TV’s up to 42" on select models, ceramic tile, and decor like high-end models. The real beauty is that Astoria is the most affordable Class-A diesel."

The pictures below show the beautiful interior of the 3772 model (see floorplans below) in Royal Crush.

FLOORPLANS

We show the floorplans below - click for a bigger picture:

The 3470 is the shortest model (35'6") with a featured full length slide (3 slides in all) and a beautiful U-shaped dinette. The other models are all 38'10" length and most have options for the floorplans. These models all have 3 slides except the 3786 with 4 slides. The 3776 model has a bunk bed arrangement that we picture above. These really do think these are beautiful floorplans for a really nice class A coach which could be, as Damon comments: "the most affordable class-A diesel."  What do you think?

Frank & Mary DavisWe have a 2008 Astoria PE, 3772. After having travelled extensively in a HR Admiral we decided we needed a better floorplan and Diesel. The Astoria fit the bill perfectly. We had minor problems during the warranty but all were handled very quickly by Damon and Freightliner. These problems don't come close to what we have experienced with previous motorhomes. We have owned 8 RVs in the past 30 yrs. We have 35K+ miles on this one and it is the best of all.
Maxwell KrobAfter owning a Fleetwood diesel my wife really wanted a better floor plan and more space. We looked around and she loved the Astoria by Damon, I was unsure, it was cheaper then what we had looked at in the past. But a year later I agree, it has been a great experience. And as an engineer I know the quality is there. Also the dealership was very helpful from start to finish.
kittyWe have a 2007 Pacific Addtion Astoria brought NEW. We have had nothing but trouble with this coach. Every few weeks something else goes wrong and or breaks that shouldn't. We are retired folks and this is our home. We are having to spend money with thought we could use to travel. I feel this Coach is a lemon and should never have passed inspection but some how it did and we are stuck with it. Damon's home office just said sorry not their problem. So becareful in buying Damon Products.
John PicklesI am desparately looking for a 'green' vehicle. preferably with LNG power. Is it available. I can purchase an LNG 12 year old in NZ but would prefer to be more up-to-date model. I plan to drive it home to the UK, via. Australia, Asia. I currently live in Singapore. What an advert for Damon!
DrewI can't comment on Damon quality, but the basement compartments are unusable with the slides out; I'd never get a floorplan with a split bath- leaving the shower in the hallway...bummer using it on a cold morning when you've got to heat the whole mh so you don't freeze. And what about being in a public viewing area?
Barb Really like this coach. As I'm writing this there's an Astoria parked next to us at a campground in CA. Really nice looking and the folks are real pleased. Wish we could afford to upgrade from our Southwind. Think it's good value.
jonjoI think Damon just keep getting better. By the way, I think the Outlaw is real nice. I looked at one today and just loved the loft bedroom arrangement. We have a toy hauler trailer but I'd love to trade it in for a Damon.
Lou MRecommend Damon. We've had our Damon Tuscany 4055 for a month and find it fantastic! 2nd pusher we've owned & definitely the best! Great layout too. Damon customer service seems good to this point.
Brent ThompsonHave a 2004 challenger. Best motorhome I ever had. Very dependable. Problems with some electrical aspects during the warranty period but the warranty covered it all. Would recommend Damon.
connieThe Damon is for me. If I can find a reasonable trade for my 2005 Pace Arrow 37C I'll go for it. I think manufacturers are listening to what we want. Thanks RoTi.
Nigel CroninI've had 3 Damons, a 2001 Challenger, a 2004 Challenger and a 2006 Ultrasport. Wouldn't go with anything else, Damon gives you the best bang for your buck.
