The TrailManor Elkmont lite weight of 2,498 pounds means you can tow it with the most popular minivans, crossovers, and SUVs.

TrailManor say they've achieved the Elkmont's light weight "with the same unique lightweight construction techniques perfected after 25 years of use on our innovative fold-down trailers." The panelized design is "strong and much, much lighter, which also gives you more room, more storage."  Walls are made from lightweight insulating polystyrene sandwiched between aluminum for exceptional strength. TrailManor say they "looked at ways to save weight throughout - there is no particle board or chipboard anywhere in the trailer. Even the floors and countertops are foam-filled. This costs more—but dramatically reduces towing weight."

We show pictures looking to the front and rear below.  The quality and attention to detail that has gone into the layout is really nice:

TrailManor says: "There's a walk around bed, marble-lookcountertops, and woodgrain floors. Appliances include a full-sized refrigerator, three-burner stove, and microwave. Custom upholstery, maple cabinets, and custom window treatments add to the elegance. The L-shape sofa converts into a bed to accommodate more campers.  Two front wardrobes add to the storage space, as does the spacious pantry.  A 15” high definition TV is mounted to the wall, where it can be viewed from either the sofa and dinette or from the bedroom. And the bathroom includes a tuband shower, plus your choice of a conventional or recirculating toilet.

Mike ProsserWe have the largest selection of in-stock TrailManors east of Colorado. best prices in the country too. ProsserRV.com
ApachewolfWe bought one of those based on the advertised weight. Guess what...it is NOT so. The trailer weighs in at 3540 lb on a public truck scale, and the tongue weight is nowhere near the advertised 320 lb. It is much more. The trailer was delivered with the furnace hooked to gas and electric but with no duct work completed. The battery wires were not fused as called for in the schematic, and the interior quality on a scale of 1 to 10 is about 5. But the bed is nice. TrailManor has a LONG way to go. I have so many conflicting numbers on the weight of the unit from the dealers information, the manufactorers information and the information supplied on the title none are the same. One spec sheet states that "Dry weight Standard Equipment 2498 lb, with a list of all the standard equipment". The title states "Shipping weight 2733 and GVWR 4230". The brochure gives a dry weight of 2498 lb with a load factor of 1250 lb. Public truch scale gives the total weight (as picked up at dealer) as 3540 lb with a tongue weight of 600 lb. So what is right? I know I don't want to tow with my Hyundai Santa Fe, which is what we stated we were going to use and were assured we could use.
KelCampWe own a 2720. If we didn't have kids I would go for the Trail Mini. We LOVE our Trail Manor. We towed it with a minivan for about a year until we purchased an Expedition to accommodate all of the other junk that goes along with kids. I would recommend a Trail Manor product of anyone. Super light and super easy to set-up.
cam8122I like to be able to stop and use my own toilet along the way. How difficult is this?
J. ClarkThey are great trailers but they are still too high priced for me!
Gloria JWe have the Trailmanor 2720. 27' open but only about 20' when we're towing it. We pull it with our Honda Pilot and we've never had a problem. The Trailmanor is really ingenious we love it, why pull a full height trailer. Very easy to set up too.
Rod BakerI have a 1/2 ton Toyota Tundra and am looking at ultralite trailers. This seems ideal. I guess that with these ultralites the weight saving is in the aluminum but I guess they also have smaller tanks. Thanks for the info.
george245I had a TrailManor fold-down trailer and was pleased with the quality and everything about it. This lite upright looks good.
