See reader's comments and experiences at bottom of page

Small, just 19'.  Scamp says: "Built so well the quality stands out .. they don’t wear out .. they last almost forever"

Important considerations:
Exterior length 19'0", Exterior width 6'8", Exterior height 8'10"
Interior height 6'3", Sleeps 1 to 6
Fiberglass construction with R15 insulation, Approx. weight: 2000 lbs
MSRP from $13,295 plus options
(typically $15,495 with main option package - as of 6/09)

This is a small fifth wheel with a lot of options. Scamp says "You decide what your camping and traveling needs are, then choose which options you want. There are many optional items to choose from including appliances, layouts, extra lights."
An example of the options is the shower package. This includes shower / 26 gallon grey water tank and water heater. Other options include the air conditioner and furnace and many interior appliances.

BobWe pull our '89 5th wheel Scamp with a Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl. pickup. We've been all over California, Oregon, and Nev. Never a problem towing it.
CarlaHave a v-6 dodge dakota p/u. Is it possible to tow a scamp fifth wheel or travel trailer with out putting to much wear and tear on the truck?
Ann EppelWe have a 2005 scamp fifth wheel we pull with a dodge dakota. we picked it up in the winter and spent our first 2 nights camping in the snow. Nice and warm. really nice little 5er with no real problems since we've had it. you need the shower option it should be standard
ByronPurchased a Scamp about 2.5 years ago. I think this is one of the best purchases if not the best purchase I've ever made. Tows easily. Sets up in less than 10 minutes. More time for enjoying the outdoors. The furnace keeps us nice and warm in the winter. Plenty of ventilation in the summer. It's been just GREAT.
