Eco travel trailer exterior

Light weight - the ECO has 6-way welded aluminum laminated superstructure (roof, floor and walls), a lite-weight frame and an EPDM one-piece seamless rubber roof. Most models weigh less than 3000 lbs and can be towed by most midsize vehicles:

The manufacturer (ECO is a brand of Dutchmen), says: "ECO may be light in weight, but it’s not on features and value. ECO models feature multiple sleeping locations, a full bathroom and all the appliances found in larger travel trailers."  We show 2 interior views below - looking to the front and looking to the rear

FLOORPLANS

8 floorplans currently available.  The first we show is the 713FD, the shortest and lightest model - just 14'8" long with a base weight of just 2407 lbs:

Next we show the 718QBSL model (not to the same scale).  This is a really nice floorplan with a queen bed and bunk bed arrangement.  Heavier and longer of course (3265 lbs and 19'7") but still a true lightweight trailer:

Finally we show the 723QBS, the longest and heaviest model (4168 lbs and 26'3") with a sofa bed and bunk slide out and a more spacious bathroom arrangement. This is not shown to the same scale as the floorplans above, but you can get the feeling of what a beautiful and spacious arrangement this is:

rik hI have been using my 04 toy sienna to tote a 718 QB. The mini van is a stock 6 cy engine with 230 HP. I made added a transmission cooler to be safe. Pulling the ECO is normally fine unless there are steep grades and then my engine will rev to 4oo rpm for short periods. Gas mileage is not good I average about 10 MPG
Tim GWe have the 716FD which sleeps our family of 5 and is pulled by a Chevy Colorado 5 cylinder pickup. Love the configuration, weight, and size. Only complaint is the lightweight parts break easily.
gabrielwonderfull stuff.i am looking for a used luggage trailer open roof that can be pulled by a landrover for a wild tour and camping. Thanks
MarshallWe own the 718FD model of the ECO. We pull it with our Jeep Liberty, 6 cylinder. It does better with the weight distribution hitch we purchased with the trailer, but it does the job just fine. It is a great camper with good head room. I am 6 ft 2 in tall.
DarleneHubby & I have parked our 30ft. Jayco permanently in Alabama. We are looking for a lite weight to take to dog shows and partner up with RVing dog show friends. Has to be easy set up & have toilet. If you have a used TT that fits the bill, please e-mail me at: npetrali@nycap.rr.com
WillI have the ECO 716FD Travel trailer. It's about 2,800 lbs and I'm pulling it with a 1/2 ton truck & 5.7 liter engine. It's quit hard to pull. Weight isn't the big problem. Wind resistance is...
MikeTo David Lee looking to purchase dual axle trailer.I have a Mazda SUVTrbute 6cyL w/trailer tow package.Mazda Recommends not to exceed 2600lbs,I sold 17 ft under 2600lbs,prowler too heavy, good luck
D LeeI am looking to purchase a lite weight travel trailer towable by my 6cy. Mazda Tribute. I like the ECO as it has dual axels. Any info as to how my car would handle ECO or maybe another trailer? It is for myself and doggie as a summer get away.
Eric J.I bought the smallest one, 713FD. We love it, and I pull it behind my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Other than the obstructed view out the back window of the Jeep, I don't even know it's there, pulls so easily. Though not really an "off road" trailer, it pulls well through the sand, dirt, rocks, and brush on "El Camino Del Diablo" (off-road trail from Yuma to Ajo (AZ).
Rod BakerI have a 1/2 ton Toyota Tundra and am looking at ultralite trailers. This seems ideal. I guess that with these ultralites the weight saving is in the aluminum but I guess they also have smaller tanks. Thanks for the info.
