Cedar Creek fifth wheel exterior

Forest River says: "Experienced RV’ers know what they want, and Cedar Creek delivers their every desire for great leisure living. From the striking high gloss gelcoat fiberglass exterior, custom artwork graphics and the beautiful interior, Cedar Creek is the smart choice."

And the interiors really are beautiful ...
We show the interior of the 36CKTS below(see floorplans lower down the page).
This shows the rear seating arrangement and slides at both sides open.  Opposite the sofa, behind the counter you can see the chair at the desk of the computer table.  There is also an entertainment center next to this as you can see on the floorplan.

Below we show the rear arrangement of another Cedar Creek 5th wheel model - the 34SATS.  This has the entertainment center on the rear wall and the seating to the right.  To the left, not shown, is a sofa in another slide-out.  Another really nice arrangement that shows the quality and attention to detail that has gone into these designs.

C.D. BrownPurchased a 2014 cedar Creek fifth wheel in November, have had a couple of problems requiring expert attention. Forest River responded immediately and authorized service without hesitation. We appreciate their customer service.
RuthWe own a fifth wheel Made by forest river. They are nice as pie when you. Buy one, then when you call them for help, they never return your calls,we need parts that only they have, called them and they never call back, so think twice before you buy from forest river, they don't care, customer service is awful
FrankWe purchased a 2010 Cedar Creek and have had some minor problems with the exception of one big problem. The slide on the entrance slides has two vertical sliding windows on each end which we have determined have no weep holes. When it rains the water fills up the bottom window channel and pours into the rv onto the slide out floor. We have had it in several times to have this checked out and nobody could make it leak. Well, we have pictures and video of the water pouring in. Now the subfloor in the slide out has dropped, torn the vinyl flooring, and is rotten on each end of the slide out. Close to $4000.00 to have this repaired. The windows are the problem and the leaking has absolutely nothing to do with owner neglect. So far Forest River does not want to help at all and they should pay for the repairs even though it is out of warranty. However, having it repaired would be useless unless they had a solution for the leaking windows. Very in satisfied with the rv and Forest River. We would never buy a FOrest River again.
GarrettMy wife and I purchased a 2013 Cedar Creek 38RE, and have regretted it ever since. The water tanks have fallen out and are resting on the axles right now, the slides have cracked on the insides, the electrical system has melted exterior lights because they get so much power to them, I have been shocked and knocked to the ground by the wires going into the vacuum which has never worked since we purchased it, the automatic leveling system has never leveled on its own- always have to level manually, the table came loose and fell over during the FIRST trip in this thing busting the wood finish on the island, interior trim has fallen off for no reason while we were sitting eating dinner, the electrical system has ruined several batteries, the paint is fading at the top of one of the end caps, the inverter is intermittent, the furnace blower and ignition is intermittent so we did not have heat during a 35 degree night, glass inserts in cabinets doors have fallen out for no reason, the cabinet doors are misaligned so that you have to carefully close them or they sag and then come open, the oven door does not seal when shut/gap of about 1/2 inch, paint on various panels is changing colors other than that of the body, and so on. There isn't a dealer in the fourth largest city in the country willing to work on it, and the warranty people are basically worthless at resolving customer complaints. I called them the first week of January, I still have not received a call back regarding the issues with this unit. They simply do not care, and yes, I'm talking about Jeff at Forest River. Buy a Forest River product again? NEVER! I would rather give myself a vasectomy than buy one of these things again. They advertise and market these as one of the premium fifth wheels available, yet the craftsmanship and workmanship are literally nonexistent. So if you have a choice, buy ANYTHING other than a Forest River product. MY wife and I are speaking with an attorney and filing a complaint with the state's AG office and the BBB. Forest River? Don't walk, but RUN from one of the POS's.
Paul and Jan BWe have a 2011 Cedar Creek 34SATS 5th wheel and, absolutely, love it. We purchased it at Tom Johnson, NC, 2 years ago and have hardly had time to use it; we plan, in the next few months, to go full time and can't wait. This is first trailer we have seen, with self-leveling jacks. We found this site, out of curosity and feel even better about our choice after reading the reviews. Will do another review, after have had a chance to live in it, for awhile. Thanks! Paul and Jan B., Palm Coast, Florida
JudyWe purchased a 2008 model Cedar Creek fifth wheel in May of 2007. We have had very few problems with the unit except for the vinyl smell transferring into everything in the unit, especially the food. Cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, potatoes etc all absorb the vinyl taste over a short periods of time. After voicing our complaint to the technical department at Forest River we were offered the following explanation; The plastic or non-slip shelving we used years ago(even though removed 3 years ago) has caused this lingering odor. What? We know many people who have used and still use the no slip rubber shelving and their food taste fine. We believe that Cedar Creek should come up with a solution to this problem I was told that we are not the first to experience this. What now?
Bernie I purchased a 2010 Cardinal and thought that I had made the right decision. I was wrong. I have had over 100 service problems with this unit and Iam so unhappy that I wished that I never had purchased this unit. Ceiling panels coming off. Trim coming off and had to screw on. Roof leaks. Dining tables chairs didnt match. Corian countertop has a dirty look. There are so many problems that I cannot recomment this unit to anyone.
