My husband and myself had wonderful childhood memeories of camping. That is something we want our children to experience. Plus, there is no better way to REALLY see the wonderful country we live in

I think you're right about the American pioneering spirit but it's difficult to imagine you're in a covered wagon in a million dollar motorhome. But I love it too and I've no intention of giving it up.

It's a little of the old American Pioneering spirit left in some of us. You put your stuff on board and strike out. You can stay a day, or month it is all up to you. I have been at it for over 40 years and have no intentions on giving it up.

The best part of the RV is you never forget to bring your pillow or toothbrush. The bathrooms are allways clean everywhere you stop. If the neighbors are horrible they go away in a few days.

I'm surprised about Matthew McConaughey, would have thought he was the fancy hotel type. Goes to show you never can tell.

I cannot agree with this enough. I love the freedom, convenience and comfort. It is better than having a country cottage or a weekend home as a get-away.

I agree, I really prefer sleeping in my own bed rather than in some hotel or motel. And an RV takes me to places that I would never go otherwise. It's a wonderful way to travel. I know what Jeff Daniels means when he says you're not a real American if you haven't driven an RV.
