From RV Business, Bob Ashley wrote:

Tiffin Motor Home Inc.’s 28-foot Allegro Breeze, chosen as ”Best of Show” by the RVBusiness staff during the 47th Annual National RV Trade Show, breaks new ground with regard to diesel-pusher length due to its relative short size.

In fact, the Breeze, built on the Red Bay, Ala. manufacturer’s own 21,500-pound GVWR chassis equipped with a 215-hp Navistar MaxxForce 7 V-8 engine, may point to the future direction of motorized RVs.

The article goes on to say:

The Allegro Breeze is a concept vehicle that is expected to get miles-per-gallon in the mid-teens.

RV Business's runners-up were the Roadtrek class B (see Roaming Times' Roadtrek SS-Ideal review) and the Heartland MPG travel trailer (see Roaming Times review.)

According to a Tiffin press release:
"The Allegro Breeze will begin appearing at Tiffin's network of dealerships in the U.S. and Canada in March 2010. Pricing has not been established."

Roaming Times congratulates Tiffin and sends best wishes to them for success in 2010.

Re: Tiffin Allegro class A motorhomeJimEI am a two Tiffin owner. The service and support even outside of warranty was outstanding on the first coach but times have changed! It seems Tiffin is no longer willing to stand behind its products once warranty is over unless you make the journey to Red Bay and then only after filing a complaint. Maybe it's time to consider other manufacturers. Losing some loyal customers may bring Tiffin back to the support and service their company was built on.

Re: Tiffin Phaeton motorhomeNorman Elton On my second Tiffin. The first was a 2013 Allegro Open Road 36LA bought new 10/2012. No problems until we sold it 01/2014. New owners first day, the control board for the hydralic system went out disabling the front slide and jacks due to oversite of ground wire during assembly. Second Tiffin, 2014 Phaeton 40QBH, bought new. Nothing but trouble. Home from dealer preparing to stock, found all cabinet drawers with rough edges and splinters, had to remove all and sand and refinish. In local shop now looking for water leak in kitchen sink area, can't find. If running front passenger side slide in after rain, water comes from under kitchen cabinets. Local shop also replacing outside seals on both rear slides due to leaks around gear track. I have spoken with Bob Tiffin twice and have to admit, he does try to do the right thing to correct issues. Just don't understand how an expensive coach leaves the factory with all these problems. Not what I expected.

Re: Tiffin Allegro class A motorhomeJohn CI bought a 2005 32' ,8.1 liter Allegro motorhome with 21k miles last week . Took it for a 70 mile test ride and it was quiet and smooth and drove very steady.I think I got a good deal but would like to know it's true value.
Re: Tiffin Allegro BayDani & Scott LynchBUYER BEWARE! We paid top dollar to buy a new Tiffin 45' Allegro Bus because we were told the company backed it's product. After many weeks sitting at Red Bay and several conversations with Bob Tiffin, we ended up having to fix all the MANY MANY problems ourselves because we don't have the luxury of sitting at Red Bay Alabama "until they get around to it." If you have unlimited time, and no where to be - sure. If you have any kind of life and work on ANY kind of schedule - DO NOT BUY A TIFFIN. It was the biggest - and most costly mistake of our lives. If we had know they would not respond to our service requests - we would have bought an older model with NO WARRANTY at HALF the price!

Re: Tiffin Allegro BayJ.J.Hello Allegro owners, my hubby and I are looking into buying our first motorhome :)we dont want to buy anything new and expensive to start out with so we are checking out older motorhomes. We really like the Allegro ones and found an 1983 to buy, my question and big concern is the gas when we ask people why are they selling most of the time the answer is that they are very bad on gas. Please give me your opinion, how bad are the Allegros on gas? all the other motorhomes are as big so I dont really think they can be that bad cause people still buying them, so what do youall think. I really want an older Allegro :)
Re: Tiffin Allegro BayHeather & DustinTo Rick...you have a 1979 wanting an 82 or 83 allegro...we have 1 sitting in our driveway and are wanting to sell it. We bought it to camp w our 5 boys but NEVER have time to! My email is heaherndustinmoore@yahoo.com if you are still interested. We live in south central Kansas.
Re: Tiffin Phaeton class A motorhomeCarlton WilkinsJim Shafer-I have been looking for this circuit breaker for about 3 weeks. Where is it. Yes we have a 2008 Phaeton 40 qdh and love it. Have had some issues with clutch fan but maybe they have been solved.
Re: Tiffin Allegro Bus motorhomeP W BlackWe were pleased to trade for the New Allegro Bus. But that was temporary. No hot water on delivery and a few other glitches made the joy soon fade. It appears a lot of the folks who knew what they were doing were on vacation when our special order came through the line at Memorial Day. Looks good. Too many little annoyances and big that should never have happened. Hoping to survive the next trip.
Re: Tiffin Allegro BayDavid & Mary GWe own a 2007 Allegro Bay 34XB diesel. We love it. We keep it garaged and clean and get lots of comments asking if it is new. The only problem we had was a leak in the dual pane window on the passenger side when it was just out of warranty. A call to Mr. Bob Tiffin resolved the problem. He truly cares about his customers. A lot of companies could learn a lot from Tiffin about customer service. This is our first Tiffin product but, God willing, it won't be our last. My older brother has a 2004 Allegro Bay and he feels the same about Tiffin Motorhomes.
Re: Tiffin Allegro class A motorhomeJanWell we own a 1987 Allegro basement model, we are full time rv'ers and it is still on the road with no leaks or problems cannot buy better.
Re: Tiffin Phaeton motorhomeKellyTiffin make a great coach. If only I had the money this would be my choice
Re: Tiffin Phaeton motorhomeJames FTI've had 2 motorhomes and the one Tiffin was the best. I'm looking around now and after looking at a few I think the Phaeton looks the best for the money.
Re: Tiffin Allegro Breeze class A motorhomeleona pWe have a new- 3 weeks old, 2011 Tiffin Allegro Breeze and want to have responses from other Tiffin Allegro Breeze owners about their new rv..driving? steering? on the road?
