|Re:Pets||Robin||I'm going to drive around Northern CA in early April with my 2 dogs. Can anyone tell me what campsites are best and dog-friendly in the No. CA area? I'm going to plan my RV'ing around those campsites so that our trip is most enjoyable :).
Thank you for any suggestions!||See RoTi item
|Re:Pets||Michelle||I'm looking at RV's and I have an older dog. I'm looking for a Class C RV, new or one in good condition. My main concern is an RV that is dog-friendly and manageable not only inside the RV but getting in and out of it. Does anyone have some recommendations? or some comments as to what features I should be looking for? Thanks so much for your help. ||See RoTi item
|Re:Pets||Kay||I have 2 older dogs who are big (84 pounds each) and I'm new to RV'ing with them. Can someone tell me the best way to travel with older dogs? What to look for in a campsite and what ramps are best? They both have hip dysplasia. Thanks!||See RoTi item

|2014 momentum by grand design- 44 ft||ali||The grand design does not live up to its promises. It is a nice unit (585) but lacks quite a bit·
The wiring is such that only o e appliance using a plug can be used at a time. As all his are on one 15 amp circuit it is easy to overload it
The tv is horrible- Haer tv speakers rattle at all sound levels and tv antiquated in plug a chess. Is not connected to ceiling speakers (that are equally awful) so if you like entertainment devices it is lacking in this 100+ k price range. And no outdoor speakers.
The bedroom is really nice and closet is wonderful! Need to put better tv there as well. Bathroom is nice- lots of storage- no convenient place to put toilet paper roller and standard 18 inch towel racks won't fit- hope you like hooks for no door for over door hanger exists. Medicine cabinets and vanity are nice.
Coat closet works with only light jackets.
Main living area is mediocre. Long sofa has hard plastic handles between cushions- watch how you sit down!flooring is nice. Vent over stove does not vent out- has smart fan in ceiling to vent out cooking smells- nut you will need a max air if if rains! It is,a big problem in the Pacific north west! Fan over stove should vent out. No counter space- heavy covers over sinks and stove pain and difficult to store (put permanently under bottom drawer in pantry) fire place a waste of space. Cabinets around room too narrow for kitchen storage. Single loft bed useless- useful for storage only in my opinion.
Garage is ok- hard go access via door when motorcycles in back as swings into garage and distance to slant puts wheel right in front of door. Did not like being forced to pay $250 for cheap ugly rug (and store) that comes with it- but toys are easy to load-
The e strike is ok. Gutter dumps into arm of awning and that looks like trouble in the future.
The cable hook up is crazy- different hookup per room so you need to get a 4 way splitter and 4 wires to service tv in rv. Really annoying. The roof antenna is the old crank type (why????) And it does not work in my unit unless I put my hand on the wall connection! The dealer insists if works but something is wrong.
The storage in the front and slam lock doors are good. Nice tool storage in floor of garage- but be advised there is a lot of condensation that accumulates in there. I also was not super happy to pay for lawn chairs- would rather a better tv and sound system!
I see no advantage to this rv vs voltage. ||See RoTi item
