Have a 2006 hurricane 34n. I have experienced some problems. The latest I tried to open bathroom door..noticed door frame and trim work is all warped and messed up? It appears we sprung a leak in the shower area and it ran under the shower pan to the toilet area. Anyone else with this aweful problem?

Just traded in my 2007 35' Georgetown Bunk Model in on a 2008 34B. I am quite impressed in the improvements they have made. Talk about a night and day difference in quality compared to the Georgetown, the hurricane is built solid, drives better with more options for the same price... After 3 weeks of solid use and two softball tournaments with 10 teenage girls and their families I only had 4 items on a list to take back... Very minor things... The Georgetown I traded in (Thank God) was the worst nightmare I had ever experienced.. I had 4 complete pages of problems after I had only drove it 250 miles home. I am a former engineering manager for Chinook Motorhomes and Alpine Coach, so after having been in this trade for 20 years I can say that this coach has the quality and craftsmanship of RV's at twice the price point.

I HAVE A 2003 30Q AND I HAVE HAD SOME ISSUES with this motorhome to which four winds gave help in solving. The 1st was a leak in the front clearance lights which water intered and ruined the tv cabinet it took almost 2 yrs to get replacement pieces and they were the wrong wood finish. Instead of rear ordering I installed them anyway, by the way the unit was still under warranty but dealer would not do the repair. Next last year the floor felt spongy in the middle of the hallway between the bathroom and closet I removed the flooring and and repaired the sub floor sheeting I contacted fourwinds to ask if there were any other owners who experienced the same and they said no I still am unable to find the cause of the water leak.

We love the ride doesn't lean when turning like our other one did (not a Four Winds product), good wheel base. With 2 slide outs in the front room its huge, bathroom large enough for 2 if one needs help. I use the shower for trash storage and dirty clothes. In the morning my husband and I race to the drivers seat to see who drives first. Only real problem was coach batteries not charging was not noticeable on short trips. Checked everything replaced batteries several times, problem was even the replacement converters were bad. Four Winds said converters were bad and had substitute. No more problems! One important issue for me is I have to prop pilows around me because the drivers seat does not move up far enough and, next time I would request a couch that flips to a bed not a pull out.

We are now in our 3rd M/H! First was Class C, 2nd was Class A, now back to Class C. We have a 2006 Model;Fleetwood/Tioga. We tow a 2004 Grand/Cher. Jeep and hardly know it is behind us! It rides and drives like a dream. It is a WONDERFUL RV with UNHEARD of storage underneath-lots of it. We never fill the whole area! However, I cannot count the times we took it to the dealer to get the hotwater heater fixed! It still isn't! It comes on when it wants to! So we just leave it off at night, saves gas and the next morn. we flip the switch as many times as it takes to get it to come on!!!!!!!!!!! During the day we have to constantly turn the switch on for hot water!!!! Why can't dealers take care of RVers probs....? Their mechanics must be HIGHSCHOOL dropouts!!!!
Fleetwood wakeup! You really need more quality control people who KNOW what they are doing!!!!!!!!

We bought a new 34B in April of 2007. this was not our first coach. We choose it for the floor plan. This Four Winds product has been the worst RV we have owned. I have a total of nearly 60 days in service this year for a host of electrical issues, windshield popped out, and jack issues and the list goes on. On two occasions they jacks would not let the coach down and I had to crawl under the coach and manually release the valves and use a drill to drive the pump just to lower the coach to go home. On another occasion the generator began to start and stop while the coach was unattened and both coach and chassis disconnects turned off. I will never purchase a Four Winds product again. My experience is that Four Winds does not offer good support after the sale. The dealer is trying but the isses are apparently beyond something the dealer can handle and the facotry will not dispatch a tech. The factory did offer to let me drive it over 1000 miles one way back to Indiana for them to look at the coach if I covered all the costs of getting the coach to them. That is my experience.

We are looking to buy a 32 R Hurricane. Does anyone have any feedback?

We purchased a 2007 Hurricane 34B last year and love it. We have had some minor wiring issues and a couple of the slides recently needed adjusting, but no major problems. The floorplan is great for families and is much better than staying in a hotel when we are traveling to ice hockey games and tournaments!

I have a 2005 Hurricane 34N that I really enjoy. I've had a tag along and a Class C, but none compare to my 34N. It has all options except the color backup monitor and navigation system. I pull a 2006 Saturn Vue and have no problems what-so-ever. The mileage veries with what I tow and how I drive. *mpg is average driving 55-60, sometimes 65.

We have a 31D. The floor plan is excellent. The Ford triton V10 has plenty of get up and go. The brakes are very good at stopping. The turning radius and handling are superior to the 27 ft Class C we traded in. The only draw back is the cheap TV upfront.

We love the Hurricane 34B, but worry about the generator exhaust coming into the living area if the slide is out. Has anyone had problems?

We have the 07 34B. This is our 3rd RV. We like the layout etc. The carpet is really light which makes it difficult to keep clean~Seem like they would have gone darker in a family coach. We have also had our coach in the shop more than we have had it on the road. Issues range from: loud sqeaking noise while driving (had to go to Ford for that one) Generator leak, toilet leak, stripping around shower came off, slide leak and last week while we were camping in FL....No A/C...has to have a mobile repair unit come out. We dropped it back off at the Dealer and now we have it back 2 weeks later and the Bunk Bed Slide mysterioulsy comes out a few inches by itself every day. So we are frustrated! We leave this weekend for a trip to NY...we hope it does not fall apart.

I have the 2007 34N and it's my first RV. I love it! Great value for the money. Some startup problems due to poor quality control at the factory: radio inop (wire came loose), coach DC system inop (undocumented circuit breaker popped in box under hood), awning brackets causing noise (reinstalled with more clearance), shower door magnetic strip wouldn't stay in place (superglued), water pump froze on first night with sub-freezing temperatures (heater hose from interior to basement had not been installed). The dealer fixed these items in less than one day. Be aware the "satellite ready" Jensen radio requires an expenseive ($200) tuner and antenna installation to receive Sirius radio broadcasts. I purchased a portable unit for $69 at Best Buy that works just great.

We have a 2005 Tioga Class C which has been nothing but problems. We're thinking of upgrading to the Hurricane 34B because of the bunks and are interested in any feedback - good or bad - to lovintennessee@comcast.net. Thanks.

We have the '07 34B. While for the most part we have enjoyed it, some problems can be marked up to poor workmanship at the factory. We took the tour after we bought it and were there on our maiden voyage... first stop, warranty service for quite a few major and minor concerns. That was in Sept '06. Today, we removed the bathroom exhaust screen for cleaning and when replacing it, a lot of the wiring literaly fell out and apart. Now, none of the bathroom lights, hall ceiling light and the two lights in the china cabinet will not work, along with the fan. We've replaced fuses and checked connections to no avail. Barring another (3rd) trip to Elkhart, IN for service, does anyone know how we might get the wiring schematics so as to try to trace the problem ourselves? If so, please reply to: czirconia48@yahoo.com, with Hurricane 34B in the subject. Any help would be more than appreciated.

We are Full Timing in the '06 34N with 3 slides and enjoy it very much. We would like a better doors and locks on the basement, but that is really the only complaint. The '07 models should be good for the industry.

We hve a 2004 Four Winds Dutchmen class C. Loved this RV no real problems and value for money. Would love to get a class A and the hurricane looks perfect. Like the dual zone arrangement.

I think the bedroom arrangement with the sofa and the big wardrobe is awesome.
