| Re: Jayco Jay Flight Bungalow destination trailer | ........ | This trailer looks ideal for my family. I'm wondering though if the dining table comes in a formation that can be turned into a bed. Also I would like to see a picture of the bathroom area and the back bedroom area. Thanks | See RoTi item |
| Re: Skyline Layton destination trailer | Logjam | We have owned a Skyline Nomad 24" trailer since 1997 and are extremely happy with it. The main reason we bought it was that there was no Dinette. Instead a Jacknife sofa with a fold down extendable table. We have never been able to find a similar floor plan, but we are ready for a new one now. I would love to get involved with designing a similar trailer for 2 people with an occasional visitor bed like we have now. I am sure thatnthere are countless RVers out there don't need a trailer that sleeps more than 2, with enough space for an 8 week stay somewhere. | See RoTi item |
| Re: Keystone Residence destination trailer | Dawn | We have been in the 402BH for two weeks now. We put our own couch in there as well as our king bed mattress. Both are a bit too big for the unit, but the comfort is well worth the inconvenience. There is alot of storage but most of which is a bit too high to maximize use!! A step stool works but I don't like having to drag a step stool around with me when I have to do dishes...but that's just how it is I guess! Someone commented on the doors in the bathroom. Yes! Too many doors that can get banged around! The televisionis in a weird place. You have to turn your neck or else sit sideways on the couch to watch television. Just awkward more than anything. But this unit is very nice, very very sturdy and well made. The ceilings fans and high ceilings really help things look and feel more like "home". I would have really liked to have one of the other models, but this one suited our lifestyle a bit better with two bedrooms instead of just one. There's no fireplace, but the extra sleeping space was worth the sacrifice. So far - so good. No major compliants, just some minor inconveniences moreso than anything else. | See RoTi item |

| Re: Keystone Residence destination trailer | Quebecer | Have owned one now for two summers. Just closed it up for the season and I'm already missing it. Lots of room and all the amenities. It is one of the nicest park models out there. Built like a travel trailer with an interior like a luxury motorhome. I'm looking forward to next summer. | See RoTi item |
| Re: Keystone Residence destination trailer | Ranthos | We Just bought the 402 BH and love it. It is BIG, nothing you want to drive around everyweekend. we have it on lake ontario and so far its been nice. it seems to hold the heat better than most Travel trailers. the really nice thing about these is that you dont need to add anything to them they are fully equipped. | See RoTi item |
| Re: Keystone Residence destination trailer | M Cassano | I'm interested in buying a Residence by Keystone. How are they in cold weather? I'm interested in speaking with someone who owns one that doesn't live in Florida. | See RoTi item |
| Re: Skyline Layton destination trailer | Richard G | We have a Weekender 150 ltd and have since 2008. Note, Aljo, Weekender, Nomad, Layton brands are all the same product, just a different front stencil. We love it - for two has everything we wanted in a small trailer. Some minor fixes needed, but all taken care off during the warranty period. Had problems with a local dealer, but Skyline in Mansfield Texas customer service went to bat for us and handled everything to our satisfaction, and found another dealer to our liking. I would buy another skyline just to have Charlie in Skyline's Mansfield Manufacturing site customer service at my back. Design and basic construction are very sound. People that ultimately did warranty repair were independents authorized by Skyline, who have been in the repair business since the 60's. Told us due to the corner wrapping and strapping used in Skylines, they had never seen a skyline product leak due to frame loosening. Said that Skyline and Terry products were the best stick-built manufacturers on the market. In corner wrapping, the aluminum siding is wrapped on edge over the frame, forming a rigid reinforced metal box over the wooden frame. Cross strapping adds diagonal metal bracing across the wooden frame, forming a truss system. They also said the quality of materials used by skyline was better than others. Good wood, etc. The corner wrapping is unique to Skyline, and used in all there stick-built models. Great value, great product, great customer service. | See RoTi item |
| Re: Keystone Residence destination trailer | Marg | WE bought a residence last June from R'nR in Liberty Lake.I love the high ceilings and big windows.I do not like all the doors in the bathroom. At least one pocket door would have been nice. The king size bed is too big for the room...it is very hard to make the bed.All the storage space is great, especially the pantry in the kitchen. The window over the sink should have the opening knob on the right side as its unreachablefor a woman where it is.I would have been happier with boxed valances on the window and less curtains. They are unnecessary with the blinds.I love the roominess and large slide in the living area. Please give some thought to these comments when designingnew models. | See RoTi item |
