Bounder is one of America's favorite RV models. Fleetwood say that the "Bounder Diesel adds power and value to the mix - but it's still every bit a Bounder!"

Fleetwood quote a price for the gas version of the 2007 Bounder as between about $103K and $132K   The diesel version is priced "from $174,020" as the base MSRP.

We're featuring the top-of-the-line Bounder here at $182,840 with a full wall slide-out (2007).

Cat :   We have had a 2007 Bounder for 18 months and 14,000 miles. We love it. Good power plenty of room, great to drive, alot for the money. Had some small problems Fleetwood and dealer took care of them. I would buy again.

Ron Hoffman :   We have a Bounder - a 2006 diesel. We've really like this coach. We had a bounder before and then upgraded to a diesel. The difference is incredible. Like the interior and most things. A few problems during the warranty, mainly electrical and with the generator, but these were all fixed. Since then we've had problems with one slide and this sticks occasionally despite being fixed more than once. When it sticks I need to keep running it in and out until it works ok. So far we've always managed to work it but there is obviously something still not right.

Mikey :   I have an 2007 Bounder Model 38N, and love it. This is our first fleetwood and would not hesitate getting another one. Very minor problems that were fixed promptly by the dealer. Got a great deal and well worth the price for the features.

Nomad2 :   Bought 2007 Bounder Diesel new in May 07... have had many problems, long waits to get to dealer for service, power awning is problamatic, dinette table top has delaminated, water heater has second leak, shower leaks, etc... no refusals on warranty but more problems than I had with my Itasca. First and last fleetwood..

Gary Goodwin :   Bought a 2007 Fleetwood Revolution 42N six months ago. The dealer has had the unit longer than me. Would not recommend Fleetwood or the dealership. This was the third Fleetwood we purchased and will be the last.

Newbie :   Just had my first RV experience renting a 34 ft Bounder Diesel. Loved the coach, but it did have a lot of quirks on interior; not sure if it is Fleetwood or lack of maintenance by the rental agency. Towed a Ford Escape OK, but labored badly on climbs - I rented a diesel specifically to avoid any towing issues, so I feel the 300 HP is underpowered. Without anything to reference against, hard to recommend or not, but I'll be renting something different next time (i.e. I did not fall in love with the Bounder enough to build any loyalty).

Capt Kidd :   Have a Bounder 36S with a V-10 engine ( 8.8-9.0 mpg). Great coach after the first year bugs were fixed at the factory. They were great in Decatur..

Avidude :   We have a 2007 Bounder Diesel 38'. It has been our 3rd Fleetwood. Some minor issues when we first purchased. Took the dealer about 5 weeks to handle all. Its been great since. the 300HP C7 is great. Pulls steep grades fine with our GMC Yukon as a tow. Love the Bounder, big improvement over our Pace Arrow.

Dick M :   We like the mid-entry of the Bounder we have and will not buy a unit with out one. Just to much extra walking to load and unload the units with a front enterance only. The 39z we have works great for us. I also think that if a newer unit suffered damaged to the front, there is a good possibility that the front door might not open or close properly. That would make sad trip into a bad trip. The class A units have gone to three and even four slide rooms. More things to go wrong! and higher maintenance. Another thing, you have a hard time talking to someone sitting behind the slideout walls when you are driving. You can still talk to the copilot unless That person wants to go back and talk to the other passengers. I feel that they could have done more to increase the Basement storage systems. like full pass through areas. The extra slid rooms limit this Storage and I'm sure limit the amount of weight allowed in the storage ares under the slides. The new units look grate inside and out, but they need to be functional also. The people at Bounder May not be spending as much time camping as there predecessors. We will be watching the new Class C units with interest of now as many of them are as big as the unit we now have and with a greater load caring capasity, and they all have a Midentry. These units also come with just one or two slideouts. I just love it.

2005 expedition 37u :   I have a 2005 Fleetwood expedition, 300hp cat, very nice coach, the 300 cat seems to burn fuel 6-7.0 mpg, roof has had 5 leaks in just 1 year. Fleetwood needs to do a better job with quality control. This coach has many options that you would see in a higher priced coach so we love it overall. Very quiet, easy to drive, looks great, pretty much the same as a discovery. Tires seem a bit small for the size of coach. Fleetwood should help out with roof etc for at least 2 years as they seem to be a problem with the seems at the front and back caps with a tpo roof.

49er :   Owned a 1999 34V Bounder (gas) and loved it. Only problem I had was getting into gas stations. Not much luck filling up when you pull a toad and some one parks in front of you; or Flying J does not have a RV pump. Had enough so I traded it in for a 2006 Coachman Cross Country SE with Cummings diesel .. Love it. Fleetwood priced themselves out of the market. Check out the Holiday Rambler for a diesel, great quality control too.

Bart H :   The Bounder was priced between $103K and $132K for the gas version or between $174K and $182K for the diesel version when I bought mine. This is a lot of extra money to pay for the diesel engine. Unless you're going to do a lot of miles it doesn't really make sense in my opinion. I have a gas bounder and I use it about 6000 miles per year maximum. I can't ever imagine spending the extra for the diesel.

Mike A. :   We own a 2006 Bounder Diesel 34 footer which is pretty much maxed out with options. Other than the fact that the tv/satellite/vcr switchbox had some misconcennections, we have had no problems. This is our second Bounder and would have no problem recommending it. After looking around at other brands I still feel it is the best buy for the money.

Tom :   We have owned 3 Bounder Diesels 94/01/05 and like the user friendly aspect of the units. they have been all midentry the 39z model. Now no one makes a midentry. I like the door under the awing and not in the front. I also agree that the Quality control needs some attention by Fleetwood. Too many small problems that one can do himself but the Vendors take for ever getting you in and out for these minor but P I A repairs. The 300 Cat does an avg job. Over all it is not a bad Motor Home for the money.

Jerry H :   I have a Bounder Diesel 2005 38N that I bought new, has been in for service more than out. Many small things. Has been at dealer for warranty work last two months. Poor quality control by Fleetwood.

Bob Kirk :   I think this coach is underpowered with the 300 HP Cat. I was just reading the pages for the 2007 Monaco Diplomat and the 2007 National Tradewinds and both have 400 HP. The Bounder is cheaper of course but I still think it needs more power.

Michelle G :   We have the 2005 Bounder Diesel 39Z. The first year we did have to go back many times to the dealer for some warranty issues, but everything has been either fixed or replaced with no problems. For the price, this diesel Bounder has a lot of features that you usually only find on higher price RVS. The quality control at the factory could be improved, but it is a good coach. The coach is useable even when the slide is not open, which makes it good for the occasional night boondocking in a Walmart parking lot. We love the washer/dryer combo. We replaced the shower head and the kitchen faucet which were of poor quality. Our experience with Fleetwood has been excellent.
