We have a 2004 Providence as well and still feel it's one of the most beautifully decorated models out there in this price range. Very few problems - some converter issues and leaking problem but all is fixed and it's trouble free. Would highy recommend the 39S model from 2004 year and up. 2003 was the first year and only came with a 330 engine.

Our 2003 Providence had many electrical problems that took nearly 2 years to fix. Problems with slides and problems with wiring and problems with water leaks (2). The air conditioning was a problem also it continually cycled but that's fixed now. Gradually all the problems have been fixed and I think from talking to people that these problems don't happen with the latest Providences. I think Fleetwood learned and thats good. We'd definitely go for another Providence, it's a nice coach.

We have the 2004 Providence 39S with the 3 slides. We think it gives us a great layout with plenty of space. The external storage is probably not as good as our earlier Holiday Rambler but the interior storage is very good. We've taken 2 very long trips with no problems whatsoever and all the initial (minor) problems were taken care of by the dealer to our satisfaction. A really nice coach.
