LIVIN' LITE POISED FOR GROWTH

“We absolutely LOVE our camper and ... we had no idea of all the benefits when we bought it ..."

Quicksilver automotive camper

GOSHEN, Indiana – Livin’ Lite Recreational Vehicles, manufacturer of the QUICKSILVER line of ultra lightweight Automotive Campers, has been named Roaming Times “GREEN RV of the YEAR.” The RV consumer report resource (www.roamingtimes.com) recognizes and highlights innovation within the industry. Editor David Mottram says, “Our selection was influenced by zero formaldehyde, no rotting or rusting, low cost, and the ability for the camper to be pulled by an ordinary car.” He continues, “The QUICKSILVER opens up the RVing experience to a new generation of energy-conscious campers. Plus we think it is exciting to know that a small, sleek camper is available for less than
$99 per month!”

In what has been a depressed RV economy, Livin’ Lite is poised for growth by offering “Green Friendly” RVs to consumers who embrace the GO GREEN movement. With more families choosing fuel efficient cars, minivans, and hybrids over traditional trucks and SUVs, Livin’ Lite is positioned to offer an affordable opportunity to enjoy the RV lifestyle – the least expensive type of vacation delivering great economic value that lasts a lifetime.

“Our QUICKSILVER line of fold-out Automotive Campers is designed specifically for automobiles and minivans,” reports Mike Kinzel, General Manager of Livin’ Lite which is based in Elkhart County, Indiana, the world’s RV capital. Company sales representatives drive bright blue’08 Honda Civics with their nautical yellow all-aluminum campers in tow that when open range from 10’ – 20’ in length with a MSRP starting at $4,500.

Unlike other small campers on the market, the QUICKSILVER sleeps up to six comfortably, features 6’4” of headroom, and is built out of all aluminum and composites – making it both wood and formaldehyde free. Customer Courtney Seely shares, “We absolutely LOVE our camper and get so many inquiries about it. I’m not sure what attracts more attention - the camper itself or the fact that we tow with our Subaru. We’re new at camping, and seasoned campers we run into are continually impressed with the lightweight aluminum construction. We had no idea of all the benefits of our Quicksilver when we bought it (we needed something light to tow with the car), but now we are seeing just how long we’re going to be in this with very little maintenance compared to other campers.”

Studies show young families increasingly value quality leisure time spent together, and empty nesters are more active than ever before. With low costs of entry and operation plus ease of storage, Livin’ Lite’s eco-camper fills a welcome niche for Generation X, Y, and retiring baby boomers during high energy prices and down economy. “People who enjoy camping don’t necessarily want to sleep on the ground, and many don’t have a truck or an SUV,” points out Kinzel. “An automotive camper allows one to enjoy nature, stay close to home, and travel in comfort and style.”
With thousands of campgrounds in the U.S., and for most folks, ten or more within 100 miles of their homes, even with $4 gas, people can get away from it all without spending a lot of money.

Paul CooperWe bought ours in March this year. Love it. Everything they say is true. We pull with a Honda CRV and have used it most weekends since. No problems whatsoever and my 2 kids love it.
Connie RossI think these are cool. We had a truck camper that had rot. Fortunately we didn't keep it too long and didn't see how badly it rotted. This no rot design and materials used are a big improvement. I'm definitely going to look at this camper. Connie.
Kate WalshWe had a Starcraft Spacemaster that we used for about 6 years. We loved it but we did have some problems and it wasn't well made. It was a 1999 model maybe they're better made now. The quicksilver looks really good like the idea of all aluminum. The prices are really good too. I can't remember how much we paid for the starcraft but I'm sure it was more than this and that was almost 10 years ago.
