| Re: Cikira Retro-Lite small travel trailer | Buckhorn | Really love the retro look. This seems like a really nice trailer. Thanks, I'm going to look for a dealer. |

| 2008 Escape small travel trailer | jj hunt | I bought and Escape last year and am very happy with it. It pulls great behind my RAV and it doesn't even seem to change the mpg much. Nice trailer, good quality, nice people to deal with. |
| Eggcamper small travel trailer | RoTi RV Reviews | Molded and bonded uni-body construction is a strong part of the eggcamper design philosophy... |
| Starcraft pop-up trailer | Tina Rossman | We have a 2002 Starcraft pop-up we use a lot. Kids love it dogs love it we love it. Every family should have one. We can get away for the weekends really cheaper and better than staying in a motel or whatever. We cook our own food travel and have fun. Couldn't afford to do it otherwise and even if we could it wouldn't be as much fun or as good for the kids |
| Re: Scamp / Escape / TAB / Chalet trailers | George M Sutton | I think these small trailers are great. The only problem I see is they produce so few. I tried to get the Escape, but they weren't taking on any Rv Dealers at the time.
I try to specialise, and carry niche Rv products that are light-weight. I probably have the highest concentration of micro-light and ultra-light travel trailer in the nation. There is a strong trend towards fuel efficient towing with other products such as the TAB, TADA, Coyote Sports, Chalet, Takena, Hi-Lo, Airstream, TrailManor, and Bigfoot. That's my two cents, George |

| Re: Casita small travel trailer | John knd | I bought the 17' model in January 2007 and was very happy with it. I went to the factory and they were very helpful. I had a water heater problem but they fixed it quickly. I have a feeling that they use cheap material but so far so good. The resale value seems to be good. |
| Re: Casita small travel trailer | Danny K | I have the 2006 13' model and like it. I feel I have a model that is too small and maybe I should have bought something bigger but we've enjoyed it. Next time I think I'll buy something at least 20 feet. This is a useful site. Why are water heaters always a problem? 3 rvs and 3 problems. |
| Casita small travel trailer | Badger 6 | We traveled in our 16ft Casita over some 35,000 miles in the US, Canada, Mexico and never had a problem. Had it up to 10,500 ft and down in the low desert. Wonderful camper, well made, did not add much to fuel consumption. |
| Casita small travel trailer | Diann_no_e | I think it is incorrect to say that Casita is Americas favorite. There are many small, fiberglass trailers out and they all have special features. I, personally, have owned a 13 ft. Boler, a 15 ft. Trillium, and a 17 ft. Bigfoot and they were all excellent trailers, and lightweight. I prefer the 15 ft. as it isn't too small and isn't too big. |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | John P | I had a 1967 Scotty that we used and loved for many years. Glad to read they're producing them again. The pictures look as if they've done a good job of reproducing them and I suppose they use better materials and they've improved them. I look forward to reading peoples experiences with the new models. |
| T@B,T@DA trailers - European versions | Bill Grove | Its really a shame that US companies have not embraced the European methods for building trailers. The TAB and TADA are close but really the only choices for the US market at this time. It is also a shame that Thor doesn't make a US version of the TAB L which has a full bathroom, this version is now availabe in Germany along with a prototype of a new TAB XL which is a dual axle even larger trailer. |

| Re: Aliner pop-up camper | John Mason | Have had our Aliner 3 years and had absolutely no trouble with it. I even carried a canoe and or two kayaks on top at time. On one occasion put it up in a driving rainstorm in less than a minute without wetting anything inside. I got soaked but the trailer stayed dry. Everywhere we camp people come over to look at it and express their admiration. Unfortunately I am too infirm to camp much any more so it is now for sale |
| Re: Aliner pop-up camper | Marie K | We've been Aliner owners for more than 2 years. We've taken it on many trips including one of more than 3 weeks. We love it, we've had no problems other than when we first got it and they were mainly due to us being new to camping and the usual new trailer glitches. If you're only 2 people and want to travel easily I would really recommend the Aliner. |
| Re: Serro Scotty small travel trailer | Kelly G | I really think this is great. I love the interior pictures and the price seems more in my league than most RVs. |
| RE: Cikira Retro-Lite small travel trailer | Kath H | This is really cool, I love it. I saw one of these retros, not sure it was this one, but this looks great. |

| Re: 2008 Airstream Basecamp | Tompson 43 | I agree this is different. I never thought about buying a trailer but I can see how this would fit into our lifestyle. RoTi does a great job with consumer reports and reviews. |
| Re: 2008 Airstream Basecamp | Roddy Kenton | I've looked at the Basecamp and really like the concept. Hook the thing up to your 4WD take where you like and set up camp. I think these things are about 20k - seems a bit pricey. |
| Re: 2008 Airstream Basecamp | Elly | I've looked at the Basecamp and think it is sophisticated and smart looking. It would look great behind a Smart Car - although I don't think it could pull it. I love it from a design point of view but I also perceive it as something convenient and well designed for the sportsman and camper. |
| Re: T@B teardrop trailer | ROLLER | Hello RVers,
I'm working on buying a T@B and I have a question for all small RV owners. Do we really need an air conditioner, furnace or fridge? Can't we use portable ceramic heaters, ACs, and coolers instead? |
| T@B teardrop trailer options | roller | Hi RVers,
I'm still looking for a T@B and I've come to the conclusion thatI have to buy a new one, get what I want in it, and on it, to be entirely happy. I'm going to get an aqua blue, lime green trim, L shaped floor plan with aztec gold fabric.
Are there alternatives to the AC, furnace, and fridge that T@B has, out there in RV land. |
| Camp-Inn teardrop trailer | Hal Goldman | I was very skeptical about the practicality of a teardrop trailer the first time I saw one. But when I opened the door, saw the bed was big enough for my wife and I and the kitchen area under the back hatch, I realized it could be a great solution for our weekend treks. I think a teardrop is a great RV for people without kids who only want to camp at weekends. We've looked at many and we're now thinking the Camp-Inn is the one for us. One thing I don't understand is why are all these teardrops so pricey?

| Re: T@B teardrop trailer | roller | Hi Alen,
Have you thought about going to an awning speciallist and getting them to make you exactly what you want. I'm going to when I get my T@B.

| 2008 T@B teardrop trailer | Roller | Hi RVers. I'm now one of you! I bought a 2008 bare bones aqua blue with lime green trim. You'll see me coming. It cost me $11500. Moonman, I am looking for after market heating, cooling and refridgerating systems. Did you know the 1.9 cubic ft. fridge in the T@B costs $1500.00! The furnace costs $700.00 and the AC costs $1400.00! All too much for what you get, I think. Its fun looking for alternatives, and it allows you to personalize your unit. I'm also looking into solar power and a honda generator. I'm doing all this because I plan to live in it (Ladybug) for at least 1 year. I'm going to work on it over the winter and set sail in the spring! I can hardy wait. |

| Shopping for a small travel trailer | Huff | We are shopping around - have never purchased a travel trailer. We may purchse one in 2008, but NOT until we have looked at the pictures and prices from SEVERAL LOCATIONS. Of course, we want the best deal AND we will get the best deal, even if it is preowned. |

| 2001 Hi-Lo 2901L travel trailer | G Harmon | We have a 2001 Hi-Lo 2901L. 29ft. Just wanted to say that we've found this trailer to be easy for everything - easy to set up, easy to use, easy to tow with no sway problems. Well built and well thought out. It's given us a lot of pleasure. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5. |
| Re: Rockwood Mini Lite | Brian | What kind of vehicle do you pull your trailer with? Have you ever pulled it over any high mountain passes? Have you ever had it in cold temperatures below freezing? I hear that the holding tanks are heated. I am assuming that all the lines and tanks are enclosed. |
| Fleetwood Evolution campers | Joe Carter | I've had 2 campers, a Coleman which was great and now a Fleetwood Evolution The Evolution has a very solid frame and I looked at a lot before we chose it.
2 other things I really like - the front cargo platforms are really useful and there's a huge dealer network for service.

| 2006 Aliner Sportliner pop-up camper | Dennis | We own a Sportliner. Fantastic product. Lived 10 weeks out west on vacation. Got 21 mpg using Subaru Forester. Also spent 5 weeks in Texas and New Mexico. Great for two people. We love the furnace and a/c. We love popping it up for a quick lunch. We don't like the condensation and the week door latch. We plan to buy one with the folding bathroom. |
| 2007 Airstream Safari Sport 17 | Melissa Kent | We have the Safari Sport 17 and think it's wonderful. We spent a large part of the summer touring around pulling it and just enjoying the freedom. It's small but we never felt it was TOO small. The A/C is noisy is the only complaint I have about spending the summer in it but it wasn't so much of a problem. |
| Now THAT is confidence! | Glenn Winstead | I am both pleased and, quite frankly, startled, to see you post links to all your competitors. This exudes confidence in your products! On this criterion alone, I plan to purchase my teardrop from you. |
| Aliner pop-up camper | Brown Eagle | Those folding camper trailers are so cool, we saw two of them in Death Valley in November of 2007. One of them set up completly in less than 3 minutes. |
| 2004 Aliner pop-up camper | ALEX HAWSON | WE HAVE AN ALINER 2004 WE LOVE IT BUT WISH TO SELL AND BUY OR EXCHANGE WITH CASH FOR 2005+ ROADTREK CAMPER |
| 2007 Airstream Safari Sport 17 | Claire Honiston | This 17 model is perfect for us we love everything about it. Agree the AC is noisy but I think it's maybe too big for the trailer. Can't they find a smaller unit? |
| Re: T@B teardrop trailer | Betty B | Although I don't own a T@B I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about it. I have what I construe as a great investment; I own a Camp Inn teardrop and although it's small the wait list and quality is making this such a desirable trailer. HOWEVER - its small, no bathroom and kitchen out the butt. As a girlie girl traveling it can be a little worrisome at times. My money will recoup what I paid for it which by the way was more than a used T@B.
Still most RV's, like cars only depreciate and in fact RV's more so as gas prices soar, but frankly this is one area of the T@B purchase that concerns me. Plus I've been reading a drop in their quality control alongside $/value relationship. Still - it's a darn functional trailer and one I keep coming back to as a viable possibility. Like the retro look too like the Cicira Retro Lite.

| Re: iCamp small travel trailer - made in China | eagle11 | I think it is way overpriced for what it offers. |
| Re: iCamp small travel trailer - made in China | Francie Shaw | I agree its overpriced but I think its really cute. It looks like the T@B and its about the same price. I'd like to see one and compare it. |

| 2008 Jayco Jay Feather Sport 165 travel trailer | Buppa | I bought a 165 in august 2007. I'm telling you can't find another trailer it's size on the market that offers as much. It is perfect for 3 adults without converting anything. I am going to up grade my truck, but right now I am pulling it with a 4 cyl.1997 nissan pickup it pulls it fine with a weight dis. hitch. It is a little under powered but it does fine in Florida.(flat). I love the 165 it's perfect for my wife and I. If you are going for a small TT this one is the best one for the money. Nice size,stove,oven,microwave,tub/shower, try to find all that in a trailer this size. |
| 2000 Aliner pop-up camper | danny | I purchased my ALINER trailer 8 years ago when my wife and I got married. we wanted to take it to Colorado. It was going to be our honeymoon suite. Before we left, it rained and leaked inside.I took to the dealer, they said they fixed it.WRONG,itleaked again just as bad if not worse. This time they put a new top on it. This seemed to work so of purchase. I popped the trailer up and went in to inspect it and almost fell thru the floor. I took it back to the dealer LONGHORN SALES in Garland tx. They told me several of the ALINER trailers have had that same problem and as a result, they no longer handled the product and they would not be responsible. I contacted ALINER and was told my warranty had just expired and they pushed the blame off onto the wood vendor saying the floor must have been defective wood. I got nowhere with them eighter. The floor is gone, I can not even enter the trailer without falling thru the floor. It looks and feels like cardboard. Long story short,I have a trailer that I spent 12000.00 for and was able to use it twice, thats six grand per trip. It was and is the worst waste of hard earned money I have ever spent.Sadly, the aliner company talks about there committment to there customers. I do not expect to hear a word from them. I WILL keep you updated. |
| Re: 2008 Airstream Basecamp | Billy A. | Now this is cool ! Innovative concept by an industry leader may bring about other new ideas that would be welcomed by us R.V.'ers . Yes...I would buy the "Basecamp" ! |
| iCamp small travel trailer | Pam | A complete copy on the outside of a t@b. they stole the concept design. Of course the inside is more like an airstream base camp. |
| Re: iCamp small travel trailer - made in China | Pam | Oh, and I am not a conspiracy theorist, well, maybe I am. But I feel the Chinese have an agenda. Not only ruining our country by taking our business, but poisoning us in different ways like the lead in children's toys. So this could be full of formaldahyde or something. Cant you see their government or army leaders sitting around planning how to kill us off in all kinds of ways. Oh, and dont forget the chinese are buying our debt, which they can demand be paid up to hurt us too. |
| Re: iCamp small travel trailer - made in China | vizwhiz | I agree with Pam completely. It looks like the t@b and I would definitely call it a "stolen" concept...even the color scheme came straight from t@b, not even original enough to change the colors... We're buying a t@b, and now I think we'll do so just as a protest! (not really, the t@b is cuter than this thing by far) - On a practical note, this trailer weighs 400# more than the t@b, over 2300# unloaded...better double-check the towing capacity of your car...12 gals of fresh water weighs another 100 pounds. Oh, and another comment...the fact that the Chinese would gear up to build a copy of the t@b is a testimony to what must be hot sales for the t@b... |
| iCamp small travel trailer - Made for America | Robert J. Suppa | T@b is a tear drop shape and iCamp is a torpedo shape to put a bathroom and shower the T@b did not have room for. People surveyed said we would buy the T@b if was bigger and had a bathroom. |
| Re: 2008 Airstream Basecamp | Arol | Where is the bathroom?
Most women want the basics, don't they?
They sound pricey!
I'm going back to the tent
and porta pot lol |
| Re: 2008 Airstream Basecamp | H. Lee Vence | This thing is hot......but it better be for 25,000 dollars. |
| Re: 2007 Airstream Bambi | Mike | We bought our first little trailer, a used 2001 17' hybrid (Wanderer Lite) 18 months ago to see if we liked trailering. We do and are now considering another small trailer. The Airstreams are nice but very pricey. The t@b is cute as is its cousin, the t@da, but we don't think cute justifies the price. For two people, we think that in terms of construction quality, tow weight, layout, and useful amenities, a 17' Casita Delux provides the best value for the buck. |
| Re: Quicksilver tent campers by Livin' Lite | Kate Walsh | We had a Starcraft Spacemaster that we used for about 6 years. We loved it but we did have some problems and it wasn't well made. It was a 1999 model maybe they're better made now. The quicksilver looks really good like the idea of all aluminum. The prices are really good too. I can't remember how much we paid for the starcraft but I'm sure it was more than this and that was almost 10 years ago. |
