Announces Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filing
National
R.V. Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") recently announced that the Company and National R.V., Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary, filed voluntary petitions under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California, Riverside Division. The Company has taken these actions after determining that seeking Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection is in the best interests of the Company, its creditors, stockholders and other interested parties in light of ongoing financial challenges and the inability to adequately fund operations and obligations. The Company is a debtor-in-possession under the jurisdiction of the Bankruptcy Court and in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Code and orders of the Court.
Dave Humphreys, the Company's Acting Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are saddened to let go our excellent employees, especially so close to the Holidays, and even more so because National's motorhomes have never been better than they are today. After evaluating our options, however, we ultimately determined that seeking protection in bankruptcy was in the best interests of creditors and shareholders."

We are in the market for buying a used RV and were leaning towards a National. Having learned about the bankruptcy, we wonder if this is a bad move. Is there any advise someone can give us?

We love our 2006 Dolphin, great value for the price we paid. Fortunately we purchased an extended warrenty with it. Hope we don't need it but it is there just in case. We only lost a little of the initial warrenty since we took delivery May 07.

I too own a Seabreeze. 2006. Wonderful amenities for the money. Too bad about National RV. They locked it down tight in one day. Many RVs in for repairs are stuck there with no way to get them out for now.
Louzy deal if you ask me. Other manufacturers have been warning us. Hope some other manufacturer picks up thir line.

I think this is a tragedy. National make the best motorhomes for the price. I've had 2 and both were wonderful value for money and great RVs.
