Livin’ Lite Recreational Vehicles, innovator of the QUICKSILVER line of ultra lite-weight tent campers built especially for car and minivan owners, has expanded their product line-up to include ultra lite-weight truck camper models for 2008.
The QUICKSILVER truck camper, like all Livin’ Lite products, features all-aluminum and composite construction, without even a “splinter” of wood, according to Mike Kinzel, GM of Livin’ Lite RV. “The QUICKSILVER line has always been about providing an affordable option to young couples who want to take their family camping using their current family vehicle, and this truck camper embodies that same philosophy. It’s light enough for two people to slide it into the truck bed, while being very affordable, and extremely easy to set up.”
The simple fold-out design of the QUICKSILVER truck camper offers room to sleep up to four people comfortably, while featuring a dinette for eating or playing games, as well as a spot to plug in a TV, heater, or other electronic device. One of the most unique features of this product is that it is the first truck camper on the market that allows the driver of the truck to actually see out their rear-view mirror when the camper is in the bed of the truck.
The QUICKSILVER truck camper is available in multiple colors, as well as two different sizes - one for full size pick-up trucks, and a smaller version for compact trucks (Chevy S-10s and Ford Rangers). The sleek, lightweight design, combined with the camper’s affordability, make the QUICKSILVER truck camper a very appealing option for the mainstream truck market.

:
We just bought a Fleetwood E2 tent trailer. It is meant for back-roading and has a cargo deck for an ATV. I would love to know some other people that have them. Our maiden voyage is this weekend.

I think these are cool. We had a truck camper that had rot. Fortunately we didn't keep it too long and didn't see how badly it rotted. This no rot design and materials used are a big improvement. I'm definitely going to look at this camper. Connie.

Very interested in finding out how much this would cost. Its something I would consider buying since we pull a horse trailer to shows. This would solve our accomodations on how to stay on the grounds.
