Carriage Cameo fifth wheel

"Spacious interiors for fulltime RV living"
"The best warranty in the RV business with no exclusions for full timers"

Carriage was founded in 1968 and they say that from the beginning, the Carriage philosophy has always been "to build a quality unit, not quantity mass-produced units  and a continued commitment to that ideal has resulted in tradition of providing beauty, durability, value, and service to our customers. Carriage is located in the heart of Amish country in Millersburg, Indiana, where they say that "old world craftsmanship still lives."

Carriage quotes the price for the Cameo at between about $50k and $62k "well equipped."

There are 10 floorplans at lengths between 30'11" and 37'7" with between 2 and 4 slide-outs. We feature 4 of these floorplans below - the shortest, longest and 2 in-between models - one new for 2008.

These are really nice layouts, and it's obvious that a lot of attention has gone into detail.

The Cameo F30RLS floorplan with 2 slides is shown below
(Well equipped $51,140)
This is shortest Cameo at 30'11" overall exterior length.  This has the popular rear Euro chair arrangement.  It may be the shortest, but it's wonderfully arranged to take advantage of the space.

Carriage Cameo F35SB3  (Well equipped $51,140)
This arrangement has a side isle floorplan. The exterior length is 35'11" - 5 feet longer than the model above, with 3 slides and a center entry making a really nice use of the extra space.  It has a fully enclosed bathroom.  The 2 living area slides make a very spacious arrangement and the kitchen island provides a wonderful kitchen area.
(These floorplans - to maximize the space and make them as easy as possible to look at - are not shown to the same scale of course ..)

dean :   I have 2004 carriage cameo my table and door are also splitting and my bed room floor is rolling up also and my decal are rolling up and i called the factory and they want to sell me the stuff to fix my trailer thanks

myrt :   WE ARE LOOKING AT A USED O4 CARRI LITE.IT HAS AN ARIZONA ROOM,AND I WANTED TO FIND OUT IF ANYONE KNOWS OF ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

John C. :   I just recently purchased a Cameo 31KS3. As an RV salesperson who sells the Carriage line, I can honestly say that these units are the best dollar value bar none. They don't have a disclaimer for full time living, and after visiting their plant on various occassions you realize the the meticulous care that goes into manufacturing this coach makes it a leader in the industry. Being in the industry,I could have bought any manufacturers product, but I chose to buy a Carriage Cameo because of price and superb quality.

Don :   I think the person who posted the problem about the air conditioning should have provided more info. Did he ask for help from the dealer or manufacturer? It seems like several posts were made by the same person using different accounts as others who researched the Cameo and who full-time didn't report a problem. I find it suspicious that someone would put down a manufacturer with a good reputation and sold build quality over an air conditioner which is an appliance that could be fixed. An appliance problem can affect any unit no matter who made the unit and should be referred to the appliance manufacturer.

STEVE :   I have a Cameo 5th Wheel 35SLQ and we are full time RVers, it is our home and we are very happy with it. We have so far never had a problem, I compared a cameo to a lot of 5th wheels and by far the workmanship on the cameo was far superior to anything we looked at.

Bob & Carol :   We purchase a 2008 Cameo, Model # F35SB3 in July 07. We love our new house on wheels. We will be full timers next year. We spent countless hours searching for the best 5th wheel that our money can buy and we found it. It has plenty of room space for the two of us and if we have our grandson for a week or two, there is room for him and his toys as well. I highly recommend Carriage Inc to anyone looking for a dream house on wheel.

Greg uthscsa@hotmail.com :   I have a 2007 FL35SLQ for sale. It is fully loaded with everything to include washer and dryer, fireplace, 5K generator, two batteries. It is in excellent shape, used for a month and then stored. $55K

Jim & Sue :   I also have AC problem. My Cameo has two ACs. One in the bed room don't help down here. It runs all the time if it is hot outside. Can a bigger one be put in place of this one?

Rodger :   I recently pruchased a 2007 Cameo 35SB3. I just returned from a trip to Florida and the only problem I had was the air conditioner had a hard time cooling the camper. I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem. The A/C unit seems to be a little small for the size of the Cameo.

Microsoft Warrior :   We are looking for a new or used Carriage. The only real requirement is it MUST have an Arizona room. The Arizona room is the most awesome thing Ive seen in an RV, and I think it will help my wife's Seasonal affective disorder!

JW & Sue Drummond :   We just got a 2007 Cameo and WE realy love it. It had what we wanted in a fifth wheel. It is the SB3.

RossieRoss :   We have a 2005 Cameo and we love it. We're fulltimers and we intend to keep this rig as long as possible. The floorplan is really perfect and it tows better than I could ever have imagined. 10/10. Strongly recommended.

Larry Clark :   The F35SLQ is one of the nicest floor plans we have seen.

Ron and Margi Johnson :   Our 2005 Cameo has never had a problem. This is the best coach for fulltimers in our opinion.

Linda :   I am desperately search for: 2005 Carriage Compass TRAVEL TRAILER Model # 32FBS (34') I would VERY much like to purchas this unit. Also the 2004 is O.K. Please contact kangonow@yahoo.com

Grace T :   We have a 2006 Cameo and love it. We think this is the nicest interior of any 5er we've seen.

Connie Todd :   We've had our Cameo for just over a year and in that time the only problem we had was with the fantastic fan which was fixed by the dealer. We're fulltimers and we're very happy with the Cameo, it's the shortest length model but we find it has plenty of space. We bought the Cameo after recommendation from a fulltiming friend who has had his for 2 years with no problems. A great buy for a fulltimer.

Lee Nielsen :   We decided to go fulltime in 2005 and wanted the best trailer we could find for the money we could afford. We visited Carriage in Indiana and were very impressed. We decided on the Cameo as having most of what we wanted. We've never regretted it, any problems we had were quickly dealt with by the dealer and we've really done nothing other than regular maintenance. The new SB3 looks great, I particularly like the side isle and the fully enclosed bathroom.
