ALPINE COACH LIMITED
by Western Recreational Vehicles
"America's premium motorcoach"
Base MSRP: From $332k to $354k

The Alpine Coach comes in 3 lengths - 34', 36' and 40'.   All models have the Cummins® 8.9 ISL 400-hp electronic diesel engine (1,200 ft/lbs. torque.)  Western Recreational Vehicles says "We understand that tradition is the key to creating premium quality recreational vehicles year after year. We take pride in using state-of-the art design and technology to build the luxurious Alpine Coach. Along with high quality and comfort, other top priorities include: safety, attention to detail, premium features and customer satisfaction."

It's certainly a beautiful coach; the model shown below is the MODEL 40 FDTS with Cinnabark Premium Exterior.

There are 7 floorplans available - 3 at 40', 3 at 36' and 1 at 34'
We show 3 of these floorplans below:
The first is the 40FDQS with 4 slides.  This is an arrangement with plenty of space and as you can see from the photos further down the page it's beautiful as well as well laid out.  2 other 40' models are available - both with 3 slides.

The second we show is the 36FDTS with 3 slides.   (These floorplans - to maximize the space and make them as easy as possible to look at - are not shown to the same scale of course ..)  There are 2 other 36' models available, both of these have 2 slides.

The SmartBeds, each independently operated by an electro-hydraulic mechanism, enable the entire storage bay to glide in and out at the touch of a button!"

Readers' comments:

Tony J :   I also have a 2003, triple slide and nothing to say but good about it. We've had a few electrical problems and other minor things but nothing really. Great coach.

Ken Barlow :   Wonderful coach. I have a 2003 and love it. I've put 38,000 miles on it and done no more than the standard maintenance requirements. I agree that it's a joy to drive and own.

Pete Kerchov :   I have a 2003 Alpine Coach with 36,000 miles. We have had a few problems but none were serious. We;ve really enjoyed this coach (our third), it's a joy to drive and own. I think we wouldn't go for anything other than the Alpine when we trade.

Ros J :   We have a 2002 Alpine and reading this RoTi review I can see how much they've changed. We had a few problems with the dealer (not Western they were very good). We had a few engine problems and Cummins were excellent. This is our first RV and we've now got it the way we like it. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5.
