“Model 43C is a great addition to our existing tag axle floorplans,” said Jon Krider, National Sales Manager, Mandalay Luxury Division. “We have integrated an extra-large 40" LCD television in the living room entertainment center. The placement of the television brings the cockpit area into the living room allowing a very inviting social atmosphere. With several seating positions, you and your guests can experience a movie theater atmosphere right in your own motorhome.”
Model 43C is built on a rugged Freightliner XC raised rail chassis with a
425-HP Cummins ISL engine and Allison MH 3000 six-speed automatic transmission with two-stage engine compression brake. The 44,320-lbs. GVWR mated with a full 1,200-lb. ft. of torque provide smooth, consistent performance in almost any situation—from towing a vehicle uphill to driving along the open highway. With a 60° wheel cut and ZF® independent front suspension, expect the best maneuvering coach in the industry.

43C
floorplan
This quadruple slide-out floorplan has opposing kitchen/sofa and sofa/dinette slides in the living area and opposing bedroom slides. It also has a standard dual UltraLeather™ hide-a-bed with air mattress and Ultraleather™ magic bed sofa, as well as a free-standing dinette with solid surface dinette table and buffet. The stackable washer and dryer option is nicely positioned in the middle of the coach, so it does not interfere with TV viewing or sleeping in the bedroom. The kitchen area is packed with a Stainless Steel appliance package, a large deep bowl sink, ample counterspace, and a pantry with sliding racks. In the bedroom a king-size bed with Select Comfort™ air mattress, 23" LCD television and large wardrobe/dresser complete this impressive package.
There is abundant storage inside and out—including multiple pass-through storage compartments with side-opening baggage doors. Standard features on Model 43C include an MCD™ power sun visor and manual privacy shade system in the cockpit, UltraLeather™ six-way power driver and passenger seat, Sirius® satellite radio with a six-month subscription, 12-cubic foot two-way Stainless Steel refrigerator with ice maker, Mystera® solid surface countertops in kitchen and bath, king-size bed with Select Comfort™ air mattress and dual controls, Onan® RV QuietDiesel™ 10,000-watt generator and triple 15,000 BTU roof air conditioners with heat pumps.
Popular optional features include porcelain tile throughout living area, Dual UltraLeather™ Euro recliners with ottoman in place of the Magic Bed, high-definition television upgrade with two DirecTV HD receivers, GPS navigation system, exterior entertainment center, stackable washer/dryer, basement refrigerator/freezer on slide tray and hydronic furnace and water heating system.
Mandalay motorhomes are available with five different interior décor packages with a choice of Golden Maple, Natural Cherry or Cherry cabinetry wood, and a choice of six different full-body paint exterior packages.
