2008 Gulf Stream Tourmaster
"The style and elegance that can only be found in the plush yet affordable Tourmaster."
Base MSRP between $234K and $251K

The Tourmaster is 42'2" long with a choice of 4 floorplans.  It comes with the option of deluxe full body paint (black, tan, sand) "at virtually the same price as competitors non painted units."  Founder Brian Shea says "We were able to increase the ceiling height to a full seven and a half feet without increasing the overall height of the unit. More headroom, deeper and taller slide room than ever offered before and openness that no other motorhome can deliver."

What do you think? ...

Readers' comments:

MOE :   I AM THINKING OF PURCHASING A 2008 gulfstream tourmaster T40A. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS COACH.

Mark Wilson :   I have a 2007 Tourmaster T40. The 400 cummins is a great option a I would highly recommed it. However, the rest of the coach is a piece of junk from the cables on the sides to the track for the bed. Problem after problem they are never ending. During the first year of ownership it was in the shop for 10 month and it is going back to the shop for more repairs on the 19th. I do not reccomend this coach to anyone. The chassis is great but not the coach.

Rick H :   I have the 2006 Tourmaster, Beautiful coach and certainly no problem with A/C. This is our 3rd coach and the nicest.

Victor G :   I had a Phoeton too with only 330 hp cat engine. This has the option of a 400 hp cummins or a 330 mercedes. Any opinions anyone?

Chris and Toni Wells :   I have a 2006 Tourmaster T40. This is a very nice coach at a very nice price. I was nearly put off buying it by an article I read on some website (not RoTi) complaining about the A/C units. I've used it in very high temperatures however and can say nothing about it other than the A/C is more than adequate. Perhaps they upgraded it or the insulation. As for the rest of the coach we just think it's a dream. We traded in a 2002 Tifin Phaeton to buy this. We loved the Phaeton but this is a better coach. Based upon your experiences, would you buy one of this manufacturer's RVs again?: Yes. Rating: 5/5.
