Thor Industries,
Inc.
announced
on
December
6th,
2007,
that its backlog on November 30, 2007 was
approximately $475 million, up 19% from $399 million last year.
|
RV backlog was $238 million,
up 23% from last year, and bus backlog was $237 million, up 15% from last year.
Thor also announced that it received orders of approximately $250 million at last week’s
Louisville RV show, up 5% from $238 million last year. These new orders are in addition to the
November 30, 2007 backlog.
“The Louisville RV show order input is very gratifying and reflects our continuing leadership in
product innovation. We introduced many new products and floor plans that were extremely well
received by dealers,” said Wade F. B. Thompson, Thor Chairman.
Thor is the world’s largest manufacturer of recreation vehicles and a major builder of commercial
buses.

I'm not surprized either. Every zip code I punched in for a dealer (NH, GA, FL) comes up w/ nothing in stock. You've got to have something in stock, in order to sell it !!
