WiFi
IN AN RV PARK
SHOULD BE
LIKE THE POOL
- FREE!

Campowners
should be
aware that WiFi
is very
important.
They should
get a
professional
to set it up
and charge appropriately
to get their
investment
back (not make
a
profit.)"
I
have found, in
the past 3
years of
full-timing
and using WiFi
in
campgrounds,
more often
than not, that
the free
hotspots have
the MOST
reliable
wireless
internet
systems.
I have been
repeatedly,
disappointed
to angry at
the lack of
service I
receive after
paying.
They need to
charge for WiFi
like they
charge to use
the pool -
Nothing.
A pool is a
HUGE
investment in
initial cost /
insurance /
chemicals /
"pool guy
hours".
According
to the owners
of the parks
I've stayed at
with the most
reliable
system I've
found (SSID is
RVW), a park
can be
installed for
like
$700-$5000 (1-
like 10
routers) with
a monthly fee
of DSL/Cable
Modem
(usually,
$29-$99) and a
fee for phone
tech support /
advertising /
licensing
(usually,
$39-$89).
The
owners say,
with the
proper
advertising,
their business
increases by
like 15% in
the first year
(and
off-seasons
don’t
“hurt” as
much).
I've
paid for WiFi
and I've
gotten it for
free. I find
the free
places are
more
dependable
than the ones
you have to
pay for &
I have a
steadily
growing and
running list
of WiFi
providers who
won't get
another red
cent out of
me...EVER!
