TRAVELING WITH PETS - ESSENTIALS

You must make sure your dog will not bark if you leave it alone in the RV.  If the dog does bark, you must be willing to take it with you when you sightsee or find a kennel. You must be willing to adapt your RV lifestyle for the dog. 

We have 3 Maltese. We will not leave our dogs in the MH alone for more than 4 hours at a time. If we are going to be gone more than that, which frequently we are, they come with us. This sometimes means we cannot do some of the things we would like to do, but we want to be good rv neighbors. 

Always pick up after your pet.  Always carry vet papers with you, and it is a good idea to know where the nearest vet is when you are at a campground.  Make sure the size dog is something you will be comfortable with in the RV you have.  Never leave your pet outside by themselves. 

We love our dogs and got into RVing 20 years ago so we could take them with us, but there are times it can be a hassle. We are willing to adjust our schedule for them and if you take a pet RVing you must be willing to do this.
